Biden Admin Rolling Out Stove Regulation
After Insisting It’s Not Trying To Ban
Gas Stoves

The Biden administration finalized an energy efficiency rule for stoves on Monday after claiming that it has no intention to ban gas-powered models. The Department of Energy (DOE) published the final rule in accordance with a court order that requires the agency to publish the rule by the end of January. The administration proposed an aggressive efficiency regulation for stoves in February 2023 and subsequently promised that it is not attempting to ban gas stoves, calling suggestions to the contrary “misinformation.” Compliance with the rules will be required for newly-manufactured products starting in January 2028, according to the DOE.

Comments:

Not just gas cooktops, but also electric and ovens.. I'm not a physics major but isn't electric resistance heating about 100% efficient already?

Biden or his administration statements must be flipped over to the truth of the situation. Biden speaks of the lies of Trump and the former Trump administration pales in comparison of Biden lies. Cost of living has not gone down, the economy is not better unless you are using the stock markets as a measuring stick.

The inanity here is that electric stoves start out at less than 35 % efficiency, due to thermo limits built into the steam-electric plants. The rule, if enacted, will INCREASE fuel consumption

I went down and purchased over $200 worth of T8 four foot flourescent bulbs today. I have a big shop with overhead flourescent lights, 120 bulbs in all. I don't want to run out of flourescent, daylight bulbs in my lifetime, and these criminals in our bureaucracies are making them illegal. So, I buy a lifetime supply. Rotting stinking pukes. I have tried LED bulbs in flourescent fixtures.. half the bulb burned out in six months, and the bulbs cost triple the cost of a flourescent which will last 15 years or longer. Garbage "green stuff" instead of the stuff that actually WORKS and is far cheaper and more durable.

I did that because I detested the light that LED's throw out. I think I'll have enough incandescents until I die. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do something similar with my low flow toilets.

I have lived in my home, built in 1740, for the pass 53 years and only recently replaced two light bulbs for the first time. These two lights in different areas were used every day, for 53 plus years for us and who knows when they were first put in. We still have other lights that are still in use that are very old. We have the same electric stove, refrigerator, water heater, furnace and freezer since the early 70's. BUT, we just got our 2nd kitchen faucet in the past 5 years. All new things are crap. And no, we don't live in the sunny South, but in NH, where it gets dark early in the winter and stays dark.

Donald Trump suffered a blow in Tuesday's primary in Florida, a state he only narrowly won in the 2020 presidential election, after thousands of Republicans refused to vote for him. While the former president won the primary with 910,857 votes, 81.2 percent of the overall share, some 197,000 people, or 17.8 percent, voted for either Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis, despite both candidates having dropped out of the race. The results suggest the former president is losing support in Florida compared with the previous election in 2020. That year, he won about 94 percent of the state vote in the primary. T

According to relatives, the attack came after the suspect tried to hit on the two girls but was shot down. “He walked in and started hitting on her,” Alphonso Goodson, the girls’ grandfather, told The Post.

COVID fanaticism birthed many disasters, from school closures to lockdowns to the apotheosis of Anthony Fauci — but none was so utterly mad as the idea of “long COVID,” a mysterious condition that dogged sufferers months after infection and was used to justify the endless continuance of every draconian rule. Dr. John Gerrard, Queensland’s chief health officer, oversaw a study of 5,000-plus Australians with fatigue, cough and other symptoms associated with long COVID; these sick Aussies had taken COVID tests with both positive and negative results.

The Biden administration finalized a rule on Wednesday that’s expected to make a significant amount of the new car market electric or hybrid. An administration official told reporters Tuesday that under the new rule, 56 percent of the new vehicles on the market in 2032 could be battery electric, while an additional 13 percent could be plug-in hybrids. That’s up from a collective 16 percent of sales being electric and hybrid cars last year. The rule is a cornerstone of the Biden administration’s climate agenda, as the cars and other light-duty vehicles it regulates currently make up about 17 percent of U.S. planet-warming emissions. The rule also regulates medium-duty vehicles. But

A new capital would signify a new beginning for the nation. Everyone who has seen the play Hamilton knows that the nation’s capital was moved to the present site in the District of Columbia due to a dinner-table bargain in 1790 between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. Hamilton needed Jefferson’s support in Congress to win approval for federal assumption of revolutionary war debts; in return, Jefferson wanted Hamilton’s support in moving the capital from New York City to a location nearer to the population and geographical center of the country, later carved out between the states of Maryland and Virginia.
