The Biden administration finalized a rule on Wednesday that’s expected to make a significant amount of the new car market electric or hybrid.
An administration official told reporters Tuesday that under the new rule, 56 percent of the new vehicles on the market in 2032 could be battery electric, while an additional 13 percent could be plug-in hybrids. That’s up from a collective 16 percent of sales being electric and hybrid cars last year.
The rule is a cornerstone of the Biden administration’s climate agenda, as the cars and other light-duty vehicles it regulates currently make up about 17 percent of U.S. planet-warming emissions. The rule also regulates medium-duty vehicles.

The backstory is so transparently corrupt it requires an explanation, so we’ll go down the full rabbit hole and explain how China knew – to a demonstrable certainty – their multi-billion dollar investment in Mexican EV plants would be useful. First, who was installed in the Biden White House in charge of all personnel and staffing? Catherine Russell. {SEE HERE} Who is Catherine Russell? She’s the wife of Tom Donilon, a long-time aid and advisor to Joe Biden who served in the Obama White House.

Planet Fitness' valuation has plummeted $400 million in five days after they banned a member who shared a photo of a 'trans woman' using a female locker room. The company's value dropped from $5.3 billion on March 14 to $4.9 billion on March 19, and its shares are down by 13.59 percent compared to a month ago. The decline follows Planet Fitness' refusal to walk back its decision to ban a member who exposed a 'trans woman' shaving in a female locker room earlier this month. Patricia Silva was barred from the gym in Alaska

Hunter Biden demanded a hearing on Capitol Hill and then didn't show up. Perhaps he should have because his allies in the Democratic caucus aren't handling things well. In the gift that just keeps on giving, Tony Bobulinski's testimony once again produced a must-see moment, this time involving the esteemed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The congresswoman tried to pin the witness down on noting "specific crimes" he witnessed Hunter and Joe Biden commit.

Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) has reportedly told his colleagues to oppose the idea of term limits, which aligns with his past public statements.
A report from Axios said two sources indicated McConnell told Senate Republicans that “imposing term limits on the Senate leader is a bad idea during a Wednesday meeting about the direction of the conference”:
McConnell was one of several senators who spoke during an hour-and-a-half conference meeting, which was called by conservative Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.). McConnell spoke against imposing term limits for the top GOP position, calling it a bad idea,

Donald Trump is seriously considering Florida Senator Marco Rubio as his running mate, according to a new report.
NBC revealed on Thursday that it had spoken with "six people familiar with the presumptive Republican nominee's search for a 2024 running mate" and that Rubio is now a serious contender. The outlet reported:
"The list is long, and it's extremely early in any kind of process," one Trump adviser said. "No one has been directly reached out to yet, and I do not expect that for some time."
But Trump's apparent seriousness about Rubio, a 52-year-old, third-term senator, hints at the former president's priorities

An Orlando elected official allegedly took control of a 96-year-old woman’s finances and spent more than $100,000 of the nonagenarian’s money on a facelift, Miami hotel room for New Year’s Eve and other personal expenses, according to recently filed court documents.
Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill also allegedly used the six-figure sum on dental surgery, pricey perfume and clothes, and multiple intravenous vitamin infusions, according to reports.
The spending spree came after Hill met the senior citizen in March 2021 and retained power of attorney over the 96-year-old the next month, the Orlando Sentinel reported, citing an Florida Department of Law Enforcement affidavit.

Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that Republican lawmakers are pushing “bogus debunked” narratives about President Joe Biden, which he argued was essentially “conspiring with Russia to interfere in our elections on behalf of Donald Trump.”
Goldman said, “In fact, the prosecutor general in Ukraine was not prosecuting Burisma, was not prosecuting corruption. And so, his removal was bad for Burisma because the next prosecutor general came in and then did investigate Burisma.”

Joe Biden, the most popular president in US history who got 81 million votes in 2020, gave a rambling incoherent speech to a few rows of people at the Intel Ocotillo Campus in Chandler, Arizona.
Just look at the setup for the most popular president ever who supposedly won Arizona in 2020: (X Video) Biden on Wednesday announced an $8.5 billion investment with Intel for a major CHIPS and Science Act award.
The truth is DEI – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – killed the CHIPS Act.

The US has issued a draft resolution to the United Nations Security Council calling for the immediate cease-fire between Israel and Hamas that would be connected to the release of hostages, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Wednesday evening.
“We’re pressing for an immediate ceasefire tied to the release of hostages. That would bring immediate relief to so many people who are suffering in Gaza – the children, the women, the men,” Blinken told Saudi media outlet Al Hadath.

American taxpayers' money is ending up in the hands of the Taliban, according to a U.S. government watchdog, which found that bundles of cash flown into Afghanistan by the United Nations are finding their way to the country's central bank.
The latest report by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction found that the U.N. has delivered more than $2.9 billion in cash since the extremist group took over in 2021. [SNIP] But some of the money, the report concludes, is routed through the central bank, which is under the control of the Taliban.

The parents made a 17-minute video describing how Montana CPS and a local hospital rode roughshod over their parental rights and undermined their authority. It is tragic.
