Nikki Haley’s Strategies?

Original Article

Posted By: Moritz55, 1/25/2024 10:55:27 AM

Nikki Haley just lost the New Hampshire primary by 11 percent. She had earlier come in third in the recent Iowa caucuses behind Ron DeSantis. But DeSantis, not she, dropped out of the race. He then endorsed front-runner Donald Trump. By contrast, Haley confidently announced that at last there was a two-person, head-to-head race. So she confidently headed to New Hampshire. Her subtext was that if she did not win the upcoming two-person primaries, she would come in “second” rather than “last.” Her supporters outspent all the candidates in Iowa and would do so again in New Hampshire.

It's simple "stop Trump", any way, at any cost....NeverTrumpers and Uniparty DC Criminal Cabal are desperate, will fund her. Spending more than anyone else.....and LOSING. I think she'll lose her home state of SC next, I wonder if that will be clear enough? The comparison to Bush is apt.....both are Uniparty RINOs and will stab us in the back at every chance.

I think she's betting on the slim chance that Trump will implode by reason of being convicted in one of these bogus criminal trials, losing a SCOTUS appeal, or having a heart attack or other health emergency. If he does any of these things, she wants to be the last one standing, claiming the sole right to challenge Biden in the general election, since everyone else dropped out.

I don't know how she's going to campaign here in South Carolina. Pres. Trump is 30+ points ahead of her. Pres. Trump has collected endorsements from all but one Republican politicians in this state. I think people will tell her, everywhere she goes, to withdraw from the race--this is Trump country!

The really sad historical fact here is, Reagan didn’t need Bush on his ticket. The country was over Jimmy Carter and the VP choice had little to do with victory. However Bush’s had much to do with the downfall of this country.

Excellent analysis by VDH. I think Haley is already destined for something other than a political career after her shameless dalliance with the democrats in New Hampshire but let her go on making a bigger fool of herself, it matters not, she deserves it. We already tried one foreigner in the Oval Office and that has haunted America for sixteen years and is still doing so.

#4, Your are correct. GW Bush was an integral part of the slippery slope we are now speeding down. It’s a power hungry craving that cannot be satiated and comes along with an arrogant entitlement mentality. It really is one of the aristocracy that has no place in this country. The elitist mindset is toxic to a free society wherein every human being is allowed to pursue his dreams and secure the opportunities needed to succeed. These elites must be rulers, controllers and stationed far above the rest of us. This is not the American way. It is the antithesis of it. Couple that with greed and corruption and you have a breeding ground for our present condition. Strip this onion back to its core and it always ends with money is the root of all evil because it buys every other corrupt and vile desire of man. We are all flawed but it is our duty to restrain ourselves and allow integrity and character to form our choices in life. God has ways been the compass pointing us in the right direction and when individuals decided they no longer needed His authority or truth, things went downhill fast. Now we are suffering the consequences of a man centered existence instead of focusing on the truth and authority of God to guide us. I have to admit their boldness is shocking. The narrative of Deplorables and “less thans” grows thin when we can see they are not what they believe themselves to be and are actually the cause of most of our woes.

FTA - "An inert Haley would serve as the only remaining Republican alternative to Trump—on the chance he might be convicted and jailed and thus either be unable to actively campaign or wounded as the first felon to run as a major party candidate." This is the dims' and her preferred option. May they fail bigtime and take their ball and go home - for good. Haley, you couldn't be this evil?

Haley is hanging on hoping that Trump will be convicted of something somewhere and have to dropout, which he would only do if he was sentenced to prison and maybe not even then. Unfortunately for her the money is drying up and she won’t have that option.

Excellent comment,#7. There is nothing wrong with wealth and power. The problems arise in the attitude toward it and how it is used. [For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10] There was no one with access to more wealth and power than Jesus. Satan certainly has his share. The account of the Temptation in Scripture reveals the perfect example of the difference in attitude toward it. We see it played out in the lives of men today, and we see the effects for good and for evil. America has been a shining example of the struggle between good and evil as a nation. Good has prevailed when the majority of her people stood for God’s precepts - the Source of all good. May God grant US the grace, wisdom, courage & strength to stand for it now. 2 Chronicles 7:14 [I]f My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

This is what happens with a person full of pride, they are self delusional. They think they are better than others, smarter than others, but in the end, they are not. They are like a balloon all puffed up with hot air, but soon a leak will bring them down to earth. So what is Haley's strategy? Take others' money, spend it, showcasing self and in the end, what is she left with? Politics is a sad story of dysfunctional people trying to gain attention (and money) for their failed life. President Donald J. Trump is the exception.

The fix is in. To “protect democracy,” democracy is already being canceled. We just haven’t admitted the implications of this to ourselves yet. On Sunday, January 14th, NBC News ran an eye-catching story: “Fears grow that Trump will use the military in ‘dictatorial ways’ if he returns to the White House.” It described “a loose-knit network of public interest groups and lawmakers” that is “quietly” making plans to “foil any efforts to expand presidential power” on the part of Donald Trump. The piece quoted an array of former high-ranking officials, all insisting Trump will misuse the Department of Defense to execute civilian political aims. Since Joe Biden’s team “leaked” a strategy memo

Which brings us to the Michelle Obama Prophecy. First, please understand that Michelle is terribly afraid that former President Donald Trump will recapture the White House.

Not many people in the national press were paying attention to the Democratic presidential primary results in West Virginia on May 8, 2012. Barack Obama was the incumbent president, and few outside local press noticed that Keith Russell Judd, a Texas convict sitting in a federal prison for extortion, had sent in the proper paperwork and paid the $2,500 filing fee necessary to be on the ballot. Even had they paid attention, chances are no one expected him to have an impact. Yet he won a whopping 41% of the vote in West Virginia’s Democratic primary, earning 72,000 votes to Obama’s 106,000. While Nelson did not win, his impact was lost because

It might not seem like it right now, but it’s almost morning in America again. Americans of all sides are waking up. Democrats, Independents, and Republicans are uniting around shared concerns. Big city mothers aiming to rescue their children from failing schools and suburban moms losing their kids to woke educators are both waking up to the broken education system, where administrators get bigger and bigger salaries while kids suffer. Meanwhile, both “granola” foodies and conservative farmers are becoming aware of the broken food system, where small farmers struggle, and it’s impossible to ban chemicals we know harm our kids. Despite citizens trying to effect change, their efforts are in vain

After three years of her chaos, countless reboots, and word salads, Americans in 2024 face the choice of whether Vice President Kamala Harris deserves another four years – and maybe not just as vice president. For the first time in recent history, there’s a real possibility that 81-year-old President Joe Biden, the oldest president to ever hold the job, might not make it through a second term if re-elected. That’s right. Kamala Harris might be your next president — without ever running a successful presidential campaign on her own.

If there is anything the establishment likes more than a tight horse-race and a David and Goliath duel of a long-shot candidate posing a threat to an undisputed favorite, it’s a story taking a good hard shot at Donald Trump. From these wishes was born the fantasy of a serious Republican challenge to the former president. But that fantasy is about to get another cold splash of reality. The first dousing came in Iowa. But even after Trump’s besting his opposition by about 30 points or better, some continue to wonder whether the nomination contest is over. Without wishful thinking or some peculiar break from normal politics, the nomination

The contrast with the Trump family could not be more stark. Inflation has stayed above the Federal Reserve's 2% target for 35 consecutive months since March 2021. Average hourly earnings for all employees dropped 2.5% to $11.10 in December from $11.39 in January 2021 when Biden assumed office. Despite nominal salary increases at their fastest pace in years, American workers are now worse off than when the President took office. The Biden Administration has dealt a devastating blow to America by opening up the southern border to all comers. The influx of illegals threatens our national security and our economy, and it has placed an intolerable burden on the border states. How intolerable, is demonstrated by the panic that seizes blue cities when they are faced with a tiny fraction of the burden suffered by communities near the open border. Joe Biden’s border policy is unconstitutional.
