Civil rights organizations in Texas have filed a formal letter with the United Nations, raising the alarm on a "deteriorating human rights situation" for LGBTQ+ people in the state.
Equality Texas, ACLU of Texas, GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law Human Rights Clinic submitted the joint letter.
In a press release, political advocacy organization Equality Texas said the letter, addressed to 17 experts, working groups, and special rapporteurs, is meant to illustrate the ways LGBTQ+ Texans are having their rights to non-discrimination, privacy, health, freedom of expression, and education violated.

I’m a horrible person as I agree with the legislation passed by the Texas legislature! Complaining to the UN is a waste of time as it has no power to help these groups.

Dear sexually confused/perverted/etc., alphabet soup people of TX:
if you feel oppressed, repressed, threatened, intimidated, uncared for, etc., PLEASE feel free to move somewhere else. I hear CA and NY just LOVE you wacky rainbow free spirits. And don't worry about us. I assure you that your fellow citizens will soldier on and get through it somehow, possibly by distracting ourselves with things like preventing our state and country from being continuously invaded, trying to afford gas and groceries under the rosy "Bidenomics", going to the Stock Show, watching the grass grow, whatever. We'll figure it out. Promise.
Signed,
A fellow Texan

What do they expect the UN to do? They have no authority over us. We are a sovereign nation. They can do nothing here.

Gee. I live in Texas.
I seem to have missed the invitation to the daily lynchings and mistreatment of the alphabet soup people.
Sarcasm key now firmly turned OFF.
I think most of us are okay as long as it doesn't startle the horses.

Makes it easy to know who your enemies are - when they all sign the same letter and send it to a friend.

Their state could be on the threshold of careening into a civil war, and THIS is what these pampered princes are concerned about? None of these bills are discriminatory. There are, however, all meant to protect minors, which begs the question: Why is it so important to put this narrative in front of children? That this is framed as discrimination disgusts me, and that the UN would give these people a forum confirms what people fear about a One World Government.

I'm with #2. If you don't like Texas, move to one of the blue lesser states you will love. That is why the powers of the national government are limited in the constitution. It is so different states can do what works for their state.
It is why we are "states", not provinces. Sovereign STATES joined together to form a federal government. It wasn't meant to be much more than a pact for defense and trade between the sovereign states.

I've been noticing how the rainbow'ers are slowly cleaving away their homosexual males and females as well as their bi-sexuals.
And why?
Because those three don't fit in with the really mentally ill individuals who want mutilation/medication of themselves and our children.

The globalists seem to think the dempanic actually begat a "new normal" in which there is one world, one Socialist order, virtually no individual liberty, and absolutely no national sovereignty. Wake up the woke weirdos, though, because that was just their dream, not reality.

Texas is not a part of the UN. Are LGBTQ individuals being hunted down, thrown off buildings, killed, denied jobs, or tortured in Texas? Nope. They live just fine like everyone else. They are just not allowed to push certain parts of their agenda on children. The UN ignores the LGBTQ human rights issues occuring in the Middle East and Africa everyday. Why would they worry about the free state of Texas where LGBTQ activists are allowed to freely and loudly criticize the state and not be tortured or killed by a crazed public?
