The Georgia Senate is set this week to authorize a subpoena-powered investigative committee to probe the alleged corruption of Fani Willis, Fulton County’s district attorney, Breitbart News exclusively learned Monday.
The potential committee is significant because Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) refused to launch a criminal investigation into Willis last week, citing the need for a currently non-operational oversight committee to open the probe.
The proposed Georgia Senate committee could hold subpoena power as soon as later this week to “secure the attendance of witnesses or the production of documents and materials” related to Willis, according to a resolution put forth by Georgia state Sen. Greg Dolezal (R-Forsyth).

On Sunday, X owner Elon Musk called for members of the Patriot Front organization to be unmasked and questioned "Why doesn't the media or government care about their identities?" He asked. The comment came in response to X user Wall Street Silver, who theorized, "The fact that the legacy media shows zero curiosity about unmasking these guys, tells us 100% that these are federal agents or paid stooges of one of the agencies." A group of congressional Republicans, led by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), introduced a bill on Friday to ban American federal government agencies from giving grants or other taxpayer money to the World Economic Forum (WEF). (snip) Despite the WEF’s apparently healthy ability to fund itself, the U.S. taxpayer has bankrolled the WEF to the tune of millions, mostly in the form of USAID, State Department grants, and other funding. The U.S. government committed $9.1 million to the WEF in 2023, mostly in multiyear grants.
One USAID grant, for example, issued the WEF over $50 million in funding, which has been distributed piecemeal since 2015.

Daniel “Danica” Roem, the first “transgender” state representative in U.S. history, won election to a new office last November and shared in a recent interview his intention to be sworn into the Virginia Senate with his hand on a heavy metal album rather than the Bible, as is tradition.
Roem, a male Democrat who identifies as a woman, defeated incumbent Republican Bob Marshall for his seat in the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017, an upset celebrated by LGBT activists. Last fall, Roem won his race to move on to the state Senate. (snip) “I will be getting sworn in on a 1988 vinyl copy” of his favorite Metallica album,

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ hired her alleged lover’s law partner to work for her office at a rate of $150 an hour, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation — an arrangement that is raising eyebrows among legal experts who question her spending of public funds.
Christopher Campbell, a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, has received $126,070 from the Office of the District Attorney since 2021, according to county records. Willis hired Campbell to provide services as a “Taint Attorney” reviewing privileged evidence beginning in Jan. 2021 at a rate of $150 an hour, contracts obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.

In retrospect, perhaps Fani Willis should have kept her mouth shut. Yesterday, the embattled Fulton County DA filed a motion in the Wade v Wade divorce action asking to quash a subpoena for her testimony. Rather than just argue that her testimony would be irrelevant in a case where both spouses agree that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” — certainly an arguable position — Willis accused Jocelyn Wade of “obstruction” of her prosecution of Donald Trump et al. And then Willis went one step further in accusing Mrs. Wade of infidelity as the cause of the divorce.
Big mistake. Big, big mistake. And when I say “big,” I mean monumental:
