Larry Sabato: Haley attacks on Trump ‘too
little too late’

Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said that former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s (R) attacks on former President Trump came too late for it to potentially make a difference in the GOP primary. During his appearance on CNN Saturday night, Sabato said that Haley’s diggs against Trump were long overdue and noted that the only other candidate in the Republican field who took on Trump directly was former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who dropped out of the race two weeks ago.

Yes Nimarata, if only you had attacked Trump earlier, you too could be out of the primary and not wasted 30 million bucks offending the vast majority of the party.

Any Republican presidential candidate that ATTACKED Trump was doomed from the start. There is a REASON that Trump is so strongly supported. The majority of Republicans WANT him to pick up where he left off. ATTACKING Trump for doing the things that most Republican voters wanted him to do leads only to a dead end. Christie, for all his aggressive bluster, never stood a chance. Here is the reality, even voters that would like a more genteel candidate than Trump recognize that such a candidate, facing the mess that is the dem party, the deep state bureaucracy, the propaganda media, etc. would have NO CHANCE to be successful. Right now, we need a brawler and Trump has proven that he is willing to fight for us and able to win. Further, given that Trump has picked the right issues, WHY aren't the other candidates strongly supporting him? It is because they want to be president more than they want to fight for the American people and this Country. The other candidates have NO CHANCE to succeed in such a battle. How do we know? Because in their statements they are timid in articulating the clear issues that Trump deals with bluntly and forcefully. If they won't deal head on with those issues now, if they were elected, they would do nothing about them.

The campaigns of Haley and DeSantis were doomed from the get-go but for them, messaging anything other than praise for Trump may poison even future runs. MAGA'ists truly believe DJT was robbed of his '20 election and want his formal return to the Presidency as well as for Justice to be served upon all those who helped in the thievery. Nothing less will do.

Early, late, never, it doesn't matter. Nimarata is nothing but an ambitious lightweight who calculated that her femaleness was going to propel her higher than the four-year performance of the greatest president in American history. After she endures an embassing defeat in South Carolina she will slip quietly away, never to be heard from again. DeSantis can still run again in 2028 if he doesn't dig his hole any deeper now.

Leftists don't get why Trump supporters want him back...TRUMP did what he said he was going to do...you have to go back to Ronald Reagan to find a President that said this is my platform if I win and then put in effect his platform while in office...that is why he will win for the 3rd time

Joe Biden on Friday departed the White House en route to East Palestine, Ohio for a fly-by photo-op. Biden begrudgingly visited East Palestine more than ONE YEAR after the toxic train crash. Biden, the lifelong scummy politician that he is, decided that since it’s election year he would shake some hands and act like he cares about the people of East Palestine. On Feb. 3, 2023, just before 9 p.m. Eastern, a Norfolk Southern train derailed near East Palestine, Ohio, a small Midwestern town of about 4,800 people near the Ohio border with Pennsylvania.

It was interesting TV and the show is not over. As you know, there is only so much of the “Elderly Man with a Poor Memory” story that we can take. I guess that many of us want to wait until Special Counsel Robert Hur speaks publicly about just how bad the elderly man's memory is. So a little Nathan-does-Fani is a bit more interesting for now even if she disputes what he did to her. According to Eddie Scarry, Fani had a plan: It wasn’t clear that Willis would be compelled to give testimony, but it’s no shock that it turned out this way when she volunteered.

Potentially damning text messages detailing when Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’ affair with Nathan Wade began won’t be considered by a judge when he rules on whether the top prosecutor should be thrown off the Trump election fraud case — in a blow to former president’s case. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said Friday text messages between Wade’s former divorce attorney Terrence Bradley and another defense lawyer couldn’t be admitted as evidence because Bradley spilled information that was covered under attorney-client privilege.

The White House says President Biden will not take a cognitive test — even after a damning report from his own Department of Justice highlighting his “poor memory” and voters expressing major concerns about his mental acuity. “The president proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks — by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people — whether it’s domestic or national security,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed to reporters Monday, quoting from Biden’s physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

Despite a few particularly rough few weeks in a row for President Joe Biden, he keeps presenting himself for events. This included on Monday, when the president met with King Abdullah II of Jordan. It was problematic from the start. The White House transcript's been released, and from his first introductions, the president was fumbling over his lines. We're not talking about his stutter, but rather how the transcript had to correct Biden when he referred to Queen Rania as "Qree--Queen Riana." This is despite how he said he's known her and her husband "for many years." But, he also called for "the Crown Prince Hussein,

New York City could soon ban Tide PODS and other laundry-detergent packs under the latest “green” push from lawmakers. The “Pods are Plastic Bill,” introduced by City Councilman James Gennaro last week, would make it illegal to sell any pods and laundry sheets if they’re made with polyvinyl alcohol. Fines for selling the pods would start at $400, double for a second violation and top off at $1,200 for flouting the rules more than twice, if the bill becomes law. The bill would also require education and outreach to businesses on the ban for the first year. The law wouldn’t take effect until Jan. 1, 2026, if passed.

By not directly targeting the source of support and funding, the Iranian regime, the administration may inadvertently be treating the symptoms rather than the root cause of the problem, and, instead of decreasing Iranian aggression, escalating it. One viable approach involves focusing on the economic lifelines that sustain the ruling ayatollahs. These lifelines include immediately restoring the "maximum pressure" sanctions the US had imposed earlier, targeting key components of Iran's infrastructure -- such as oil facilities, which serve as vital resources and revenue streams – and banning anyone who trades with them from trading with the US.

Donald Trump’s days as a Big Apple real estate tycoon may be numbered. The ruling from Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, if it withstands an inevitable appeal, could cause Trump, 77, to be stripped of control over Midtown’s Trump Tower and his other iconic New York properties. Engoron’s decision capped a three-month civil trial that put a dent
