Fears of an all-out regional war in the Middle East are growing as Houthi rebels say the US and UK will pay a “heavy price” for striking more than a dozen targets in Yemen.
In a recorded address, Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said 73 strikes hit five regions of Yemen under their control on Thursday — killing at least five people and wounding six others.
“The American and British enemy bears full responsibility for its criminal aggression against our Yemeni people, and it will not go unanswered and unpunished,” he said.
Senior Houthi official Hussein al-Ezzi also said in a Google-translated post on X: “America and Britain will

Shades of obama.
He warned ISIS (he called them Isil) before he bombed Toyota trucks, now empty.
Here, joe is bombing Yemen land with few Houthis when IRAN is the real villian.
Just bluster, just empty show and expensive, too.

This was dumb. They could have just paid Iran a few billions and asked them politely to shut down the Houthis.

The job of the US military is to kill people and break things, I'd say this qualifies. Their job doesn't involve user preferred personal pronouns, catering to someones imaginary preferred sexual identity or providing sex change surgery. If we don't get beyond this woke BS there will be no US military.

Believe it! How many Houthi rebels have crossed our southern border? How much of Bribedems Iranian billions does it take to make strawman gun purchases or just carry weapons over the border? Plandemic, now planattack. Grrrrrr.....

If Jill Biden is upset with Republicans showing photos of a naked Hunter, just wait until Houthis release the Iranian supplied videos of Hunter and his Ukraian/Russian/Chinese”escorts”. Joe Biden hasn’t given Iran $6 billion in frozen assets just to gain release of 6 Americans. Iran knows how to blackmail a weak, corrupt and demented president. (Strictly sarcasm).
Seriously, we’ll know shortly if the $100 million plus in Tomahawk cruise missiles fired at empty warehouses in Yemen last night allow the return of commercial shipping to the Suez Canal. Have feeling that the container ships will avoid Red Sea for weeks, if not months due to fear of Houthi/Iranian attacks.

76 strikes and they only killed 5 and injured 6.
What happened to our military. Do the people running our military need gender 'reaffirming' surgery?

Blah, blah, blah.
The proper place to bomb is Iran, not Yemen.

Just substitute the word 'Iran' for 'Houthi'. That's who we are fighting there. We bombed radar installations. Where did the Houthis get them from? Answer: Iran.

Excuse 2nd post. Can someone explain what a Houthi “command & control center” is? We bombed this center last night. We’re supposed to imagine a Hollywood like set of radar screens, TV monitors, hundreds of red and green flashing lights on consoles and dozens of Houthi terrorists gathered in front of an enormous display of the Red Sea and the enemy ships patrolling there. With a 48 hour warning before Biden launched his latest PR effort, the Houthis surely moved their RV or more likely, their tent next to a UN office or hospital to avoid the cruise missiles.

How can any tough guy group be taken seriously when they are named after an owl? 5 dead? Why not 5000? What has happened to the US military? If you shoot 76 times with guided missiles and only kill 5 of the enemy, you are pretty pathetic.

The Houthis sound like Democrats. They think they can do whatever they want but when you strike back or retaliate, they make threats like you started it.

I would say this is just a lot of bluster, with nothing to back it up.
But then I remember who is the senile illegitimate Commander-In-Chief of our country right now, and realize we are probably in a lot of trouble...
