The Republican National Committee (RNC) originally posted a video of Biden sounding like he said to a coffee shop clerk: “My name is Joe Biden, and I work for the government in the Senate.” But the Associated Press’s report on the moment says that Biden said: “My name is Joe Biden, and I work for the governor and the senator.”

Former President Donald Trump cruised to victory in the Iowa caucuses Monday, serving as a likely harbinger of what is to come in subsequent nominating contests.
CNN and the Associated Press called the caucuses for Trump just 30 minutes into the nominating process, with less than one percent of the vote reporting. The 45th president had garnered 64.5 percent of the vote, with one percent reporting as of 8:42 p.m., according to the New York Times’ election results. He was beating his nearest opponent, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), by roughly 40 percentage points.
Fox News and CNN both called the race just 33 minutes after polls opened, and after only 319 votes had been counted.
It had been clear on the ground that Iowans were the most excited about voting for Trump.
His supporters were willing to spend hours outside in below-zero temperatures to see him at a Sunday rally in Indianola after he had to cancel three other Iowa rallies over the weekend due to severe winter weather.
Trump packed venues all over the state - often needing overflow space to fit his crowds.
Sixty-eight percent of Iowan caucusgoers do not believe President Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 election, while 30 percent think he did, a CNN entrance poll found Monday evening.
The poll also asked respondents if former President Donald Trump is fit for the presidency, even if convicted of a crime. Sixty-four percent said he was, while 34 percent said “no.”The top issue for Republican caucusgoers was immigration (40 percent), followed by the economy (35 percent), foreign policy (11 percent), and abortion (11 percent).
Among Republicans who caucused, Trump was also the early winner, per the CNN entrance poll, with 53 percent. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) placed second with 21 percent.
