Within a minute after firing the fatal bullet that struck Ashli Babbitt on Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd broadcast a radio report claiming shots were being fired at him in the Speaker’s Lobby and he was “prepared to fire back,” a federal lawsuit alleges. The previously undisclosed radio dispatch is also contained on an audio recording obtained exclusively by The Epoch Times of the “OPS2” dispatch channel used by Capitol Police on Jan. 6. Information on the recording is contained in a federal lawsuit filed on Jan. 5 by Ms. Babbitt’s widower,

Given the increased awareness to the control mechanisms of Western government, it is perhaps beneficial to review one of the key points that can be overlooked. Given the recent discussions about a potential Vice President pick by Donald Trump, several people have asked for my perspective.Because I look at the office of the presidency slightly different than most, and specifically because the real challenge that needs to be addressed is located deep inside each institution of government, my perspective on the running mate is somewhat different than most.
The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.
It is often said in recent years that events in Europe present as the precursor for events that later follow in the U.S. and North America. Indeed, there are many points of reference which support this outlook.
According to recent media reporting, various state police agencies in Europe took action against Islamic extremists, identified as ISIS-k affiliates, to stop planned terror attacks against Christian targets, specifically well-known cathedrals, this Christmas holiday season. The events took place in Austria and Germany, with targets identified in Vienna and Western Germany.
If it wasn’t obvious before now that the left will do anything to stop Donald Trump from winning a second term in the White House, the events of the last few days should leave no doubt in any American’s mind. Democrats, including President Biden, are prepared not only to rig the 2024 election in broad daylight but also to twist the U.S. Constitution and undermine the republic so they can hold on to power.(snip). Never mind that Trump has yet to be convicted of a crime associated with Jan. 6 (or any crime for that matter) or that the 14th Amendment doesn’t include the president or vice president

Did I ever tell you about the time Matt Drudge shut down the Charleston Daily Mail and the entire Charleston Newspapers operation? He linked a column I wrote about Nancy Pelosi and the traffic overloaded the company’s lone computer system.(snip)Nowadays I could not get a link to Drudge if I paid him. It is just as well. He has gone to the dark side.

It seems clear to me that Jack Smith was appointed for the purpose of besetting Donald J. Trump and finding a means to keep him from running for president again. If I’m right, Smith's many strategies have come to naught this week and it is extremely unlikely that the cases he instituted in the District of Columbia and Florida (meritless as I think they are) will ever be resolved before the election. snip)You can see that the March 4 plan for a trial is not in the works.
