Eighty one percent of Democrats believe states should disqualify former president Donald Trump from presidential ballots, according to a new CBS News/YouGov poll. By contrast, 90 percent of Republicans believe states should keep Trump’s name on the ballot. Independents are more closely split: 44 percent believe states should remove Trump’s name from ballots, while 56 percent believe states should allow Trump’s name to remain on ballots. Both Colorado and Maine have disqualified Trump from their respective primary ballots because his actions in the wake of the 2020 election allegedly violated Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which forbids

First of all, we are a constitutional republic. However, “democracy” that Democrats cry about preserving looks nothing like pulling your opponent off the ballot, or lawfare against the opponent who leads you significantly in the polls, nor does it mean stealing elections.

Not a surprise. Dems believe that the right way is the way that THEY want it. The methods do not matter. They are terrified of Trump and believe any means to defeat him is legitimate. Laws do not matter to them. They have proven this repeatedly. Consider this. Trump was impeached a second time for "incitement of insurrection". He was NOT convicted. It was a pure political hatchet job. To block him from the ballot for insurrection when he specifically was NOT convicted of the crime and NEVER HAS BEEN, is absurd.

FTA: "The poll, which was taken in the days leading up to the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot, found that more Republicans now approve of rioters’ actions than they did three years ago." Interesting question, but exactly who were the rioters? Busloads of people showed up about the same time the pipe bombs were found near the DNC and RNC. On page 5 of Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund's letter to members of Congress, he describes how the violence unfolded after thousands of protestors arrived: "This mob was like nothing I have seen in my law enforcement career. The group consisted of thousands of well-coordinated, well-equipped violent criminals. They had weapons, chemical munitions, protective equipment, explosives, and climbing gear. A number of them were wearing radio ear pieces indicating a high level of coordination." Who were these people? Who sent them? Where did they come from? Who paid for the food, lodging, transportation and recruiting of these people? How did it happen that information suggesting big trouble never made it to Sund's office, and who failed in that responsibility? I have no doubt everything Sund wrote has been checked and rechecked. There would be electronic records for all of his claims. Maybe that's why we're not hearing challenges to what he told our electeds back in Feb. 1. I urge everyone who believes there's more to this story than the MSM would have us believe, to read Sund's detailed letter. The delay in help went on for hours, with bureaucrats refusing to provide the back up necessary to keep the crowd under control. If Dems thought there was an genuine "insurrection" why did they allow it to go on for hours? They saw what was on TV. Why didn't it convince THEM to demand backup for law enforcement? Sund's letter is below. It takes less than 10 minutes to read. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21034615-2-1-2021-letter-from-sund-to-congressional-leaders-1

The Wall Street Journal has a long article about the Biden administration’s efforts to stop Israel from winning a decisive victory over Gaza: The looming Israeli military plans to invade Rafah have exacerbated tensions between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and the Biden administration, which has grown increasingly frustrated with its attempts to rein in Israel’s military campaign. The consequences of the distrust between President Biden and Netanyahu, who have spoken 18 times since Hamas’s Oct. 7 assault, have grown only starker in recent days. The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the United Nations’ judicial body for handling disputes among countries, declined Friday to block Israel from undertaking military operations in Rafah, Gaza, against the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. South Africa, which is pursuing a separate legal action against Israel for supposed “genocide” in Gaza, brought an urgent application to the ICJ on Monday, hours after Israel rescued two hostages from Rafah. South Africa complained of an “assault” but left out the hostages. The ICJ responded by referring to its interim ruling on “genocide” last month, reminding Israel to abide by its obligations.
