A former county clerk in Kentucky, Kim Davis, must pay a total of $260,104 in legal fees and expenses to a same-sex couple whom Davis denied a marriage license because of her religious beliefs. The new sum is in addition to the $100,000 in damages a jury ruled Davis must pay to the couple who sued, David Ermold and David Moore. The Davis case gained international notoriety in 2015 when she was jailed for refusing to issue a marriage license to a same-sex couple. Davis maintained that she had been faced with a “seemingly impossible choice” between following her conscience and losing her freedom.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday announced a lawsuit against more than a dozen charter bus and transportation companies involved in busing migrants to New York City, seeking hundreds of millions of dollars for the care of migrants in the self-described "sanctuary" city.

If you were to sum up the last decade of leftist political thought and action you could really break it into two groups. The man involved in the attack is Delone Redden, who was being sentenced for aggravated battery with substantial bodily harm prior to the attack on Judge Mary Kay Holthus. He entered a guilty plea in a previous hearing. The video shows Judge Holthus denying Redden's request for probation due to his criminal history and preparing to sentence him to jail time.
