The Jewish family who was targeted with foul-mouthed harassment in a New Jersey mall has spoken out in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com after shocking video of the incident went viral. On New Year's Day, mother Adi Vaxman was with her husband and two of their children, ages 12 and 16, at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, where the family hoped to play a round of mini-golf. As they walked through the dense holiday crowds, a young man and woman began hurling obscenities at her daughter, who was wearing a jacket with the logo of the Israeli Defense Forces, which had been a gift from the girl's veteran grandfather.

I'm sorry that happened to them and their family. That said, people like them have overwhelmingly voted Democrat for 100 years. You reap what you sow. If there weren't Jewish communities in New York that voted more than 100 percent of their registered voter base for Hillary Clinton for President, I might be more inclined to expend some sympathy. But that did happen . . . so I'm not going to waste my time feeling sorry for you.

I saw a group of pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrating in Gettysburg (no less) last weekend. They were yelling their idiotic chant “free free Palestine” which literally means that Palestine is already free but whatever. Traffic was heavy so I was stuck in front of them briefly. As I sat there one of them looked at me meaningfully as if he wanted my approval. And then it hit me. I rarely have used the word “evil” in my life but a realization suddenly struck me with an unusual clarity: “this is evil. I am in the presence of evil”. Those protesting to help a vicious heartless gang of Satanists in Gaza are evil - demonic even. I realized then there is no talking with them. They are imbecilic, hate-filled, heartless vessels. I said a little prayer and when traffic allowed I drove away.

#2/#10 I guess you guys don't know how Orthodox/Hasidic communities vote in NYC. It's a solid, and growing, conservative Republican voting block. Something like 96% of votes are Republican, and they all vote. This community is also identifiably Jewish by dress, so they take the brunt of harassment. So much so, the NYC establishment targets them for harassment.

Mayor Eric Adams of New York City announced a laughable lawsuit on Thursday, suing 17 different charter bus companies for $700 million. His claim? That they didn't "pay to care for" the illegal immigrants they transported to blue bastions at the behest of Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas. New York City has and will continue to do our part in the asylum seeker crisis. But we can't bear the costs alone — and we won't let those complicit in @GovAbbott's scheme get away with violating our state laws. We’re seeking approximately $700 million from 17 charter bus companies that transported migrants to NYC without paying to care for them.

A recently released independent study showed that there was no extremism problem in the United States military, despite the Biden Pentagon making it a top priority to root out alleged extremists. The study, which was commissioned by the Department of Defense, conducted by the Institute for Defense Analyses, and publicly released just four days before Christmas, “found no evidence that the number of violent extremists in the military is disproportionate” to U.S. society. The report noted that the Pentagon’s own data showed there were fewer than 100 substantiated cases per year of extremist activity by members of the military in recent years.

A school shooting occurred in Iowa on Thursday morning. According to reports, the shooter injured at least three people before turning the gun on himself. We all know how Democrats love to weaponize school shootings and use them as a pretext for passing more gun control, but something tells me that this shooting will be memory-holed rather quickly. Why? Because of the shooter, who has been identified as Dylan Butler. The suspected Iowa school shooter, who injured three people including the principal before turning the gun on himself, has been identified as a school senior. Dylan Butler, who is a senior at Perry High School, was named as the suspected gunman

If you were to sum up the last decade of leftist political thought and action you could really break it into two groups. First there are the far left insurgents, the people championing Equity and DEI and anti-racism and white fragility and intersectionality and cancel culture and wokeism and all of the rest of the new think which has dribbled out of higher education/activism over the past decade. And right next to them are the liberals who have spent an increasing amount of their time over the past decade simply denying that the other group exists, or at least that it has any real significance. Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber accused Israel of having a hand in the attack, saying that “the representatives of the Zionist regime” had spilled blood with the blast. But the US already indicated yesterday that the explosions appeared to be the modus operandi of ISIS. ISIS has gone on to take responsibility for the attack in a statement posted on its affiliate Telegram channels.

(He anointed Tom Staggs instead, and Staggs was out the following year. Being a potential successor was hazardous duty at Disney, at least in those days.) Former President Donald Trump appealed a ruling disqualifying him from Colorado’s 2024 election ballot to the Supreme Court Wednesday. The Colorado Supreme Court ruled 4-3 Dec. 19 that Trump is ineligible to be on the state’s primary ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Trump asked the Supreme Court Wednesday to determine whether the court erred in excluding him. “The question of eligibility to serve as President of the United States is properly reserved for Congress, not the state courts, to consider and decide,” the petition states. “By considering the question of President Trump’s eligibility and barring him from the ballot, the Colorado Supreme Court arrogated Congress’ authority.”

The new sum is in addition to the $100,000 in damages a jury ruled Davis must pay to the couple who sued, David Ermold and David Moore. The Davis case gained international notoriety in 2015 when she was jailed for refusing to issue a marriage license to a same-sex couple. Kennedy has campaigned across the U.S. with the hopes of gathering enough signatures across states to appear on state ballots as an independent candidate. As each state sets its own requirements, and the costs for collecting signatures and filing across states can be prohibitive for candidates without party backing, it is unlikely that Kennedy will qualify for candidacy in every state. We are about to embark on what might be one of the wildest years in the history of American politics, and it may end up merely a prelude. If 2024 is set to be tumultuous and unpredictable, just wait until 2025 if Donald Trump wins the presidency again this year. His adversaries don’t have a history of accepting his victories with equanimity. Trump’s unexpected victory in 2016 launched conspiracy theories about how Russia had helped him win; catalyzed a years-long law enforcement investigation into him and his campaign based on those theories; and set off protests in the streets. All that was mild, given what may yet be in the offing.

We have become a nation of Madame Defarges — eagerly knitting names of those to be subject to arbitrary justice. Former congressional candidate Gene Stilp, who’s made headlines by burning MAGA flags with swastikas outside courthouses, filed the challenge. Using the 14th Amendment to disqualify candidates like Perry is consistent with Stilp’s signature flag-burning stunts.
