Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows unilaterally ruled that former President Donald Trump is unqualified to appear on the 2024 primary ballot despite lacking a law degree and substituting YouTube videos for due process. Bellows, who previously worked as Executive Director of the Maine Chapter of the ACLU but is not an attorney and did not attend law school, made the legal conclusion in her ruling that “the declaration on [Trump’s] candidate consent form is false because he is not qualified to hold the office of the President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Comments:

Given how ignorant and averse many pols and judges are of our Constitution, what do you think of a 'Karen' who was Executive Director of the Maine ACLU and did not attend law school?

That this women isn’t a lawyer is no concern. The “great” lawyers on the Colorado Supreme Court came to the same conclusion. This country is too much under the control of lawyers and judges. The law has become too much of a racket. It’s time for our legislators to rein in the courts. Too bad that too many legislators are lawyers themselves.

It's pathetic that such minds exist. It's tragic that they are able to grasp power. Good thing she's not a criminal judge and ruled without a trial that Trump murdered some nonexistent person somewhere, just signing an order of execution on her own say so, and signing an order for the Maine police to go execute him. Or maybe the Maine Secretary of State is empowered to do such a thing and she in fact acted with unusual restraint. I haven't seen the statute granting her the authority to do what she did. On a serious note, the 14th Amendment seems to limit its "insurrection" remedies to Congress, which has never established a procedure for disqualification under the 14th Amendment. I assume that's how the US Sup Ct will rule; that was the reasoning in the dissent of the Colorado Supreme Court opinion. Hopefully, the Dim party will receive lots of bad PR from this Beclowned Secretary of Undermining of the Laws of the United States of the Beclowned State of Maine.

She is one of the Deep State useful idiots. She was likely encouraged to do this by the powers that be, and expects to be rewarded down the road. Unfortunately for her, when the Supremes tell her to stuff it, she will be the fall gal for this stupid ruling, and her political career will be over.

Firefighters in Alabama reportedly gushed out more than 36,000 gallons of water trying to extinguish a flaming Tesla Christmas night. The Pine Level Fire Department in Autauga County, Alabama, was dispatched to a traffic crash at 11:14 p.m. on Dec. 25, according to a post on Facebook. When the first engine arrived on scene, firefighters found a Tesla Model Y on fire. Law enforcement shut down Interstate 65 while firefighters battled the blaze. “It was determined the driver of the vehicle was uninjured and had escaped the vehicle before the fire department arrived,” the department stated.

Delta Air Lines employee followed through on his threat by calling police on transgender influencer and actress Tommy Dorfman. This comes after a tense confrontation that resulted from Dorfman’s allegations of being ‘misgendered’ by airline staff. A video going viral Tuesday shows a hard-working Delta employee named “Tristan,” putting a transgender actor in his place just three days before Christmas. Tommy Dorfman, a biological male who identifies as female and uses she/her pronouns, posted a TikTok video showing himself at LaGuardia Airport on December 22. He was waiting to board a flight to his hometown of Atlanta, presumably to celebrate the holidays with his family.

The transgender individual who tried to accuse a Delta Airlines employee of "misgendering" him in a now-viral video has been identified as trans activist and "influencer" Tommy Dorfman. The absurdity doesn't stop there either. As RedState reported, the previously unidentified man confronted a Delta Airlines gate agent, claiming he had been purposely "misgendered" multiple times. After a brief back and forth between the two, the gate agent threatened to have him escorted out of the building with a "make my day" style threat about it being three days before Christmas. Republicans have an opportunity, but they must capitalize on it to bring their electoral dreams to fruition. The fact that it takes more than good poll numbers and flawed opponents to win in a polarized political climate can itself be summed up in one of the most futile phrases of the past few years: the “red wave.” Just two years ago, Republicans looked to have a chance
