A Pennsylvania school is attempting to do damage control after issuing a memo instructing bus drivers to remove Christmas decorations from their vehicles, stop wearing anything related to the holiday, and avoid playing Christmas music. “If you have decorated your bus with anything specific to the Christmas Holiday or any other decorations relating to a specific religion, please remove them immediately,” read the Dec. 15 memo from the Transportation Supervisor at the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District. “In addition, employees are instructed not to wear clothing related to Christmas or any other religious holiday.”

Comments:

But they do celebrate pride month as posted in the included Tweet. The district claims the memo was a misunderstanding.

Sorry W-S, your initial memo was extremely clear ("memo instructing bus drivers to remove Christmas decorations from their vehicles".) NOW you have the gall to say the memo was a misunderstanding and the message "was not clear"!! This effort at damage control doesn't fly. The only way to really succeed at damage control is to not cause the damage in the first place. This school district deserves every bit of criticism coming their way; hopefully they'll learn for next year but I'm not holding my breath.

A lawsuit launched by Dutch truckers may derail far-left London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s green tax on drivers, arguing that thousands of fines levied on drivers to supposedly save the environment were unlawful. In the first major challenge against Sadiq Khan’s green agenda, Transport in Nood BV, a firm that represents dozens of Dutch trucking companies, has applied for judicial review against Transport for London (TFL) at Britain’s High Court. /snip/ They will also argue that the Khan administration has illegally imposed climate tax fines on them in euros rather than British pounds, which UK law mandates.

A Muslim mob of pro-Palestinian militants terrorized shoppers on Christmas Eve in the small city of Collierville, Tennessee. “You should be ashamed!” the Muslim militants shouted at shoppers as others repeatedly honked their car horns. President Joe Biden is demoting critical border negotiations with Republicans to, instead, conduct emergency border negotiations with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The diplomatic switch comes as Biden’s flood of several million illegal migrants is further damaging his 2024 poll ratings, and as GOP leaders are using their Senate clout to demand real border reforms. “Everything revolves around getting the Mexican government to do targeted operations” against the cartels’ migration business, one U.S. official told the Washington Post.

The CDC's most recent weekly vaccination update says that "receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is low across all socio-demographic subgroups and has consistently varied by age, race and ethnicity, poverty status, health insurance status, and urbanicity." As of December 2, fewer than 18% of adults reported getting the updated COVID-19 vaccine since Sept. 14, and about another 15% of adults said they would "definitely" get vaccinated.

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man.
