Harvard president Claudine Gay is now
accused of botching study that landed
her major tenure at Stanford and refusing

Harvard's embattled president is facing yet further questions about her academic record, after a statistics expert challenged the data used in a report which helped win her tenure at Stanford. Claudine Gay, who took over as president in July, has been at the center of a firestorm since the October 7 Hamas attacks. She was seemingly slow to condemn students who justified the terrorist violence, and slow to speak out against antisemitism on campus. The harsh spotlight has spread to her academic record, with accusations of plagiarism - and on Tuesday, a data scientist challenged her analytical methods. It was then revealed that she had refused to share her data,

If her thesis itself is a fraud then so is her very doctorate. Further, though not surprising at all, such fraud puts her thesis advisor - her graduate advisor, as either incompetent or complicit in Gay's duplicity. These so-called elite schools which allow such fraud are apparently so desperate for black 'success' they make it up out of thin air.

Claudine Gay refused to share research. That suggests the data is flawed, and more evidence that Gay is a fraud. When Gay was hired at Harvard, two boxes were checked (black and female). Those checked boxes also provided her a form of tenure.

There is no "logical inconsistency" in Gay's climb to the top because her path is strewn with cheating, faulty work, low expectation, dishonesty, racism, all enabled by the various forms of affirmative action that helped her along the way. As suggested, she did not get there by herself but had a lot of "helping hands" to help her climb. She is only one example of the rot that is now running our country, academia, large corporations and the military that all had their roots in the well-meaning but stupid philosophy that equality in the human race is a given.

But, but, but Claudine Gay, PhD., went to all of the right schools. She checks all of the right boxes...including her last name. She affirms all of the "correct" things. s/ It's just a matter of time when ol' Claudine will take the severance package and will be shown the door. It doesn't matter what a certain purple-lipped, jug-eared ex President or Ms Priztker has to say about it on her behalf now. Claudine is rapidly becoming toxic to the donors. But the damage has been done. Harvard will never recover.

Haaaavvvaaarrrrrdddd's 'Board (Bored) of Guvna'hs will not remove her until the cost to Haaaavvvaaarrd to keep her is high enough. I understand that a number of wealthy alumni have already realized that she's poison and are withholding some large contributions. Meanwhile the rest of us, including Corporate America, is figuring out that a degree from Haaaavvvaaarrrd is worth about as much as a sheet from that roll dispenser next to The Throne in everyone's bathroom. Eventually Haaaavvvaaarrrddd's Bored will figure out that they are allowing the Reputation to be destroyed, that 'Haaaarrrvvvvaaarrrdd' instead of being an term of respect, is becoming an abject of Ridicule, just like Bud Light and Disney. The lucrative offers to the graduates will begin to dry up, the best potential applicants will begin to apply elsewhere, and the downward spiral will be in full motion. THEN they will 'offer' her a very lucrative position which she will 'accept', and they'll put some other Leftist in the President position. Do I have it right? We'll just have to wait and see!

Affirmative Action folks don't have to actually meet any standards.....of performance....only standards of sex and race and sometimes various perversions will do. Competence is not required for affirmative action folks. So, in any job that requires actual skills to keep people alive - say an airline pilot, or doctor or engineer designing bridges or buildings or aircraft --- beware the affirmative action people. They MAY be skilled, but it isn't required.

I was required to write a thesis for my Bachelor of Science and a Dissertation, demonstrating "original research," for my dual PhD in two complementary disciplines. Although thesis and dissertation are often used interchangeably, they are not the same, nor do they require the same level of academic rigor. After my years of classwork and two comprehensive finals, I spent four years doing the research and methodological analyses in support of my dissertation. Once the research and statistical analyses were completed, its only took a weekend to actually write the dissertation. I was not required to do either for my Masters, just pass a passel of comprehensive exams. Jill Biden essentially wrote a junior high-level book report for her doctorate in education. I guess democrats aren't required to perform or demonstrate original research, their "colorblind" version of affirmative action.

The U.S. used a multi-bladed weapon to kill Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah leader Abu Baqr al-Saadi in February. The U.S. targeted al-Saadi in Iraq on Feb. 7 out of retaliation for Kataib Hezbollah’s attacks against a military base in Jordan in late January that killed three U.S. troops. The weapon that was used to kill al-Saadi is a modified hellfire “flying ginsu” missile wielding six long blades, which was previously unreported in the aftermath of the strike, defense officials told The Wall Street Journal. The AGM-114 R9X hellfire missile, sometimes referred to as a Ginsu or a ninja bomb, does not contain a warhead and does not explode on impact, instead

LONDON/SINGAPORE - Global demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) is estimated to rise by more than 50% by 2040, as China and countries in South and Southeast Asia use LNG to support their economic growth, Shell said on Wednesday. The market remains "structurally tight", with prices and price volatility remaining above historic averages, constraining growth, the world's largest LNG trader said in its 2024 annual LNG market outlook. Demand for natural gas has peaked in some regions, including Europe, Japan and Australia in the 2010s, but continues to rise globally, and is expected to reach around 625-685 million metric tons per year in 2040, Shell said

Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson recently touted his efforts to bestow $18 million exclusively to “black and brown” businesses to feed the thousands of illegal border crossers the city is housing. [SNIP] During a press conference on the partnership, the “sanctuary city” mayor celebrated the program, applauding “black and brown businesses” as the “soul” of Chicago. “The $17 million investment for these 18 black and brown small businesses, is really the, um… it really captures what I call the soul of Chicago. John Joyce, R-Penn., told The Daily Signal. On Tuesday night, 214 House members voted in favor of impeaching the DHS secretary, and 213 voted in opposition. No Democrats voted in favor. The Senate is unlikely to act to remove Mayorkas given Democrats’ control of the upper chamber.

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing growing criticism for her handling of the border crisis as the issue continues to weigh down President Joe Biden and his administration. A former Biden administration senior official described Harris as 'ineffective' on the issue after the president personally appointed her to serve as a point person on the crisis in March 2021. 'She's been at best ineffective, and at worst sporadically engaged and not seeing it was her responsibility. It's an opportunity for her, and she didn't fill the breach,' the official told Axios.
