Before we get to this direct rejection of the Biden/Blinken ‘credit’ argument, let’s go over the background that led to it. Under pressure from progressive anti-Semites in his party, Joe Biden growled yesterday about Israel’s supposedly “indiscriminate” bombing campaign in Gaza. His comments at a campaign event yesterday sent shock waves through the US media: “Israel’s security can rest on the United States,” Biden stated during a campaign event Tuesday, as he touted his government’s strong support of Israel. …
“But they’re starting to lose that support by the indiscriminate bombing that takes place” in Gaza, Biden said, in a statement that implied Israel was needlessly targeting civilians.

WASHINGTON - U.S. President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that Israel is losing support over its "indiscriminate" bombing of Gaza and that Benjamin Netanyahu should change, exposing a new rift in relations with the Israeli prime minister.
Biden's remarks, made to donors to his 2024 re-election campaign, were his most critical to date of Netanyahu's handling of Israel's war in Gaza. They are a stark contrast to his literal and political embrace of the Israeli leader days after Hamas militants' Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel.
"Israel's security can rest on the United States, but right now it has more than the United States. It has the European Union, it has Europe,

One of the critical questions emerging among the Western commentariat regarding the Israel-Gaza war is what to do with the Hamas terrorists captured by the IDF. Should these be detained as POWs and treated tolerantly, as specified by the Geneva Conventions of 1949? A second question on which the answer to the first depends entails the professional nature and capacity of the captives, that is, are they indeed “soldiers “as understood by the term — members of a nation’s armed services that conduct military operations? Are they members of a resistance “army” who continue to abide by the rules of war, treating captives humanely,

I'm sure many of us have given up on the idea that the flight logs to convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's private island will ever see the light of day because of the powerful people whose names are allegedly on the list. Perhaps this is wishful thinking, but House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has received a request to subpoena Epstein's flight logs. "As you are aware, there have been unanswered questions surrounding the sex trafficking ring spearheaded by the late Jeffrey Epstein. We know that Epstein and his associates engaged in child sex trafficking to the rich and powerful elite from around the globe.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund hasn’t been afraid to dish out money to lure the top PGA Tour stars to come and play for LIV Golf.
Jon Rahm is no exception. In fact, he’s the new bar.
Although an exact figure has yet to be determined, estimates on how much Rahm was paid to leave the PGA Tour were in the $400 million to $600 million range. The Telegraph reported the most precise number at $566 million, with $302 million being paid upfront.
Those figures would move Rahm, the defending Masters champion and 11-time PGA Tour winner, into an upper echelon of athletes earning more than $500 million in their career.

Global warming charlatan Al Gore appeared on CNN on Sunday and told host Jake Tapper that there is a mental health crisis around the world because of the unsolved ‘climate change’ crisis.
“There is a mental health crisis around the world, I think that one of the main reasons for that is that young people look at the fact that we are not yet solving the climate crisis,” Al Gore said on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.
“We hear the word thrown around ‘poly-crisis.’ Well, solving the climate crisis is a ‘poly-solution.’ We know what to do. We have the means to do it.

Here we go. It must be election season!
CDC Director Dr. Mandy Cohen issued a new alert for the COVID “Pirola” variant and recommended for those who are feeling symptoms to mask up.
“Respiratory viruses commonly cause illness such as flu, COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), especially in the fall and winter. There are actions you can take to protect yourself and others. Learn about how to reduce your risk of getting sick from these viruses, and if they are spreading in your community,” the CDC stated.
The CDC issued an updated COVID alert on Friday. JN.1, a variant of the virus that causes COVID-19, is a closely related offshoot

US House Committee hearings are dull unless there’s a topic, like the weaponization of the FBI, where fireworks will start popping off from Matt Gaetz and others. The House Committee on Education hearing was somewhat low-key but riddled with appalling moments, like when three college heads from MIT, Harvard and UPenn endorsed Jewish genocide. They were asked point blank by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) if such harassment violated their respective campuses' codes of conduct, among other things. All three gave academic answers, essentially saying that context is everything. In other words, they don’t condemn those calling for the mass slaughter of Jews, opting to protect the pro-terrorist cohorts,

A nonprofit bankrolled by liberal billionaire George Soros provided over $1.2 million to the left-wing group that previously bailed out the individual charged with killing several people in Texas, including his parents.
Shane James, 34, is accused of killing six people and injuring others in Bexar County and Austin. James served as a U.S. Army Infantry officer from February 2013 to August 2015 and has been charged with several counts of capital murder.
In January 2022, James was charged with aggravated assault against his mother, father, and sister, Fox San Antonio reported. Bail records showed he was bonded out by the Texas Organizing Project, a nonprofit focused on progressive issues

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 221-197 Wednesday evening to pass the Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act, which would strike down federal regulations that target gas-powered vehicles.
Two hundred and sixteen and five Democrats voted in favor. The measure will next go to the Senate, where it’s enjoyed bipartisan support. President Biden issued a statement Monday, however, vowing to veto the bill if and when it hits his desk.
The president and his administration have been aggressive in pushing electric vehicles, and this bill is designed to stymie efforts to have the government decide what kind of car you can drive.

Giving the pol who told women being raped to 'lie back and enjoy it,' a run for his money, we now have this unwanted advice, from the chief of a women's advocacy group: (Snip) Graves was giving testimony in Congress about transgender athletes dominating women's sports, owing to their athletically superior biological male bodily structures.
She claimed that transgender athletes, who are basically taking virtually all the medals in women's sports now, are no different from actual women in competitive sports. Winning, she claimed with a smiley face, was all about "having really good resources and facilities," "coaching" and "how hard you work."
