The Disney Grooming Syndicate’s annual SEC report tried to bury its foundational problems in the word salad of all word salads. Thankfully, That Park Place saw right through it. The key takeaway from the report is that Disney, as required by law in these filings, is warning investors that its social goals are more important than profits.
“There is in such things a statement of the various ‘Risk factors’ the company may encounter,” explains That Park Place, “all in the obligatory legal way to avoid people later saying ‘You never warned us about this!!’”
In other words, in this annual report, Disney must warn stockholders and potential stockholders

At its heart ESG is not about profits but about "social credit." That won't stand when, as pointed out in a nested link (in the form of a PS) in the originating post, the targeted kids have no money to spend. The money comes from the parents and significantly the grandparents, and they've noped-out. Profits are not made if money is not spent.

Their "environmental and social goals".......
Their goal should be to entertain, and make a profit. But, NO....that is not their goal. They have as most important goals....."environmental and social goals".
I'll continue to advise everyone to stay away from all things Disney.

Disney absolutely puts woke ahead of profits. But Disney's lawyers are probably thinking that by being up front and formally disclosing that fact to investors, they will have a defense to a shareholder derivative lawsuit for misrepresentation.

Without iconic movies there is no Disney... unless you turn it into a shopping boutique for pedophiles.

Time to sell before Disney goes so far off the cliff of Wokeness, trans/gay, and grooming that the stock becomes worthless

I wonder how many billions of dollars Disney needs to lose before profits become more important than social issues. Those parks at some point are going to price themselves out of existence. They're heading in that direction now. From my observation, Disney World is no longer affordable to a family with young children. Those that go, are young adults with no children. When a park has to have a savings plan set up so that families can afford to visit, then the park is in trouble. Every movie Disney makes now is a flop. At some point making a profit will have to become a priority or the entire company goes under. Prioritizing social issues that aren't in line with what is considered a normal family, is no way to run a business that relies on families for its revenue.

Translating the lofty words used to describe their stupid behavior, one will see that Disney is trying to erase the natural boundaries between the sexes, the races and replace common sense with nonsense. Sure, you can remake movies full of white characters and replace them with black and brown characters, even Snow White, that's your prerogative but my choice is to avoid them all and laugh when you lose hundreds of millions of dollars. However, you pursue children as objects of your sick lust and you will eventually deal with a whole bunch of angry parents who will shut you down.

I've been following Disneys problems fairly closely lately, and there is a group of powerful investors who are teaming up to force Disney into giving them board seats and replacing Iger with (most likely) Nelson Pelz.
Pelz tried to wrest control early this year but backed down when Iger and Co. relented on some of his demands, which they basically then ignored and did their own thing. Now between these investors (two of which are George Lucas and Apple) their combined stock in the company is either at or above 51%) it's possible that by this time next year the look of Disney mat be very different.
