The Washington Post has taken down a political cartoon after readers wrote it to the paper to complain the cartoon was “racist.” David Shipley, editor of the opinion section of the Post, wrote in a rather confusingly worded “Editor’s note” (behind a paywall) that the paper would “continue to make the section home to a range of views and perspectives, including ones that challenge readers,” as part of the explanation of why it was doing the opposite of that. The cartoon, by Michael Ramirez, was preserved in a post to X by Daniel Draymann, the chief product officer at Agot AI whose X profile describes him as “Passionate about … everything Israel.”

A former MMA fighter sprung into action to take down a man who confronted him with a knife.
In a Miami parking lot last Wednesday at around 4 a.m. after going out during Halloween night, ex-fighter Javier Baez was confronted by a knife-wielding man, identified as 50-year-old Omar Marrero, while sitting in his car, he told multiple outlets.
Marrero allegedly hit one of Baez’s car windows before entering the vehicle from the driver’s side door in an attempt to cut him with the knife, according to Local News 10 in Miami.
Baez then tried to cool down the temperature of the situation while getting out of the car, but that’s when Marrero

The House of Representatives passed a resolution censuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib for “promoting false narratives” and calling for the destruction of Israel passed the House handily yesterday by a vote of 234 to 188. The censure resolution is posted online here.
Tlaib promotes the destruction of Israel “from the river to the sea,” as the slogan has it and as the resolution points out (i.e,, the slogan is “widely recognized as a genocidal call to violence to destroy the state of Israel and its people to replace it with a Palestinian state extending from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea”).
Tlaib holds herself out as a courageous Palestinian Arab.
Can someone explain to the rest of us why the leaders of Hamas, the world's evilest terrorist organization which has just murdered 1,400 innocent people, are actual billionaires living their best lives in Qatar?

They censored this cartoon below after a few critics absurdly howled 'racism' -- all for depicting a Hamas spokesman accurately, and creating a thoughtful message that Hamas's howls about civilian attacks are disingenuous, given Hamas's war on Israeli civilians, including the 200-some hostages they hold. upposedly, they complained about the nose, expropriating from the complaints of caricatures directed against Jews done by anti-Semites.
Yeah, sure.
Did they want a little turned-up button nose on him?
And is Ramirez supposed to depict a terrorist spokesman holding hostages flatteringly?
