An estimated 10,000 people from across the Lone Star State attended a protest in support of Palestinians at the Capitol on Sunday. It is believed to be the largest pro-Palestinian rally in Texas since the war began Oct. 7. A diverse crowd of all ages, religions and ethnicities turned out to protest the ongoing war in Gaza, displaying their palpable anger and desperation. According to the World Health Organization, more than 10,000 Gazans have been killed by Israeli strikes since the start of the war, the majority of them women and children.
Protesters called for a cease-fire and political accountability Sunday, levying accusations of genocide and complicity

How many protesters were carrying scimitars and yellow Star-of-David clothing patches after Hamas war crimes and atrocities? Immigtration has consequences.

They got the number of dead from the World Health Organization. The WHO got it from the Gaza Health Ministry which is run by Hamas. I'm sure the numbers are entirely accurate just like the pronouncement of 500 Gazans killed when Israel bombed the hospital which turned out to be an errant rocket launched by the terrorists that killed a handful in a parking lot adjacent to the hospital.

News from Austin isn't even as reliable as news from CNN and they lie like muslim fishermen. I'm wondering how the people who are financing these little anti-Israel parties can afford to pay 10,000 people.

Texas used to be a proud state full of strong people. Now its a carp hole full of communist snowflakes. Like so many other places, the out of state and out of country invaders have ruined it.
Sad.

When they start protesting the Antifa / BLM riots, burning, pillaging and looting, then I will believe they 'care.'

If they are really serious about their beliefs, they should travel to Israel and protest there. There is nothing except rich spoiled brats who protest in Austin.

IMO the only thing positive about multiculturalism is the food and I can't think of anything halal which whets my appetite.

If all these protesters are so worried about Israel's offensive, then get on a plane, head to Gaza, and start fighting the Israeli army. If a Hamas controlled piece of desert is so important to these clowns, then go there and fight for it. Protesting in a state capitol or a city in a country that is thousands of miles away and has no influence over what the nation of Israel does is a weeny and spineless way of getting your message across. Especially when while your protesting, your whole useless crew is protected by police.

#7, TEXAS is STILL a State with strong people!
If Texas falls, so will the nation-- Texas is a bulwark AGAINST this tyranny going on in DC. Austin is like a foreign object in your ice cream, but please don't condemn the entire State yet.

George Soros buys these astroturf “protests” so that the media can write stories to convince the weak minded how many people are against Israel. Remember, no matter how any people have been paid to be there, it is a drop in the bucket to those who disagree.

Where were they when Hamas was raining rockets down on civilian areas?
Well then, they are just a bunch of useful idiots and not 'peace loving people'.

No, #7, that is Austin. It has always been a pond of lie-beral scum in an otherwise conservative and peaceful state of paradise.
