Former Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby has been convicted on two counts of perjury by a federal jury.
The federal jury reached the verdict Thursday, finding Mosby guilty of perjury after she falsely claimed financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to withdraw money from the city's retirement fund, prosecutors announced. We respect the jury’s verdict and remain steadfastly committed to our mission to uphold the rule of law, keep our country safe, protect the civil rights of all Americans, and safeguard public property," U.S. Attorney Erek L. Barron said.
Mosby faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison for each of the two perjury counts.

How good could it be going for you if your trial is delayed because your entire defense team up and quit on you?
Now…when will she pull the race card?

One down, 1,287 DAs, AGs, Feeb agents, Prosecutors, Judges, Attorneys and Mayors to go. That might make a dent in the leftist, Soros-funded frauds who pretend to uphold the law and the Constitution.

Six months of probation, maybe? That is, if the judge is in a bad mood that day.

In Baltimore City, since Mosby has been found guilty of perjury, chances are she is more likely to be elected as the next Mayor than spend much time in jail or prison.

Are we supposed to believe that making false mortgage applications and perjury are the only felonies Mosby committed during her tenure as State’s Attorney? Criminal behavior does not happen in isolation.

They will say claim this is proof of their fairness in applying the law to everybody, not just Republicans. That knocks their persecutions of President Trump and the Jan 6 protesters off the table as a campaign issue. In fact they're just culling the weak, infirm and the stupid from the heard--pruning back the orchard, so to speak.
This case is trivial. That woman borrowed 90K from her own retirement, lying about Covid in order tho get access to her own money-- charged as if no body else ever did the same. She canned her show-boating attorney because his antics were putting her in jeopardy. This thing will be pleaded out to a misdemeanor and a nominal fine. She'll be embarrassed maybe, but her career won't be much affected. This is Baltimore, where the orchard is already sparse.

Covid was a feeding trough for so many, her real crime is she bought in Florida. I assume she was and is paying the loans back, unlike fjb.

Let's hope she spends a number of years in prison. She richly deserves it for the evil she did to innocent police officers, black and white.
