A massive manhunt is underway in Maine for an Army reserve firearms instructor who was sectioned this summer for mental health reasons, and is suspected of shooting dead 22 people on Wednesday night at multiple sites in Lewiston.
Robert Card, 40, from Bowdoin, Maine, was named by Maine state police as the suspect in the shootings at a bowling alley, restaurant and Walmart distribution center.
He was sectioned after saying he was hearing voices, and threatening to shoot up the National Guard base in Saco, Maine.

This will not end well, to the best of my knowledge this is the 1st mass shooter that is actually proficient with firearms.(There were two others before that were trained single location snipers rather than street level moving around, they also had high death counts though)

Media, TPTB, etc., want me to believe this is a one-off event. Naw. It is part of the orchestration bought and paid for by the deepest of the Deep State. Fear Porn 201 for the current year. 11/22/1963 taught us nothing! The Warren Report was a great "book" if you needed only about a 12-inch thick block of bound paper. Schumer said "the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."

He's a psycho. Literally a schizophrenic who hears voices. He'll be portrayed as a MAGA conservative inspired by Trump.

How many times do we see commercials where the new drug being touted has awful side effects including murderous and/or suicidal thoughts?
I guess once in a while that it really happens.

If the perpetrator is actually a current U.S. Army Reserve firearms instructor he is probably a pretty high ranking NCO, maybe an E-7 Sergeant First Class. Chances are as such he would have has access to Army owned semi-automatic rifles, but who knows at this point? But one thing is certain, the perpetrator is seriously mentally ill, there is no doubt about that.

Whatever "sectioned" means, it should have resulted in a stay at a mental health facility for evaluation. Now the gun-control parrots will have a fine time screaming about AR-15s for several months, led by Biden of course.

Another tragic example of our utter failure to deal with the mentally ill.

Military shooting instructor, Mental problems. 'Known to authorities' for making threats to shoot up a bunch of people
If I was a 'tin hatter' I'd be thinking "MK Ultra" or something like that.

I wonder if the "voices" came to us via the CIA?
Mind you, he could be legitimately crazy. But I have to wonder...

However, do note he was operating in areas where citizens are not permitted to carry fitearms. Gun-Free Zones. No law abiding good guy with a gun to stop him.
This massacre was brought to you by gun control liberals.

The killer was known by law enforcement to be a threat before the mass shooting took place. Nine-tenths of the time before one of these malignant characters goes off, authorities already know about him. And do nothing, as happened here, other than squawk about "gun" violence.

Ask yourself, how can a man who has said that he intended to blow up a US military base and who then spent time in a mental health facility, still be a U.S. Reserve Army firearms instructor, when he would be deemed to be ineligible to purchase a firearm anyplace in the USA under current federal gun control laws, and under the apparent Maine State “yellow flag” laws because of his mental health condition? Is it possible that under the current medical privacy laws that the Army was precluded from notifying Maine authorities of the perpetrator’s mental health condition? You also have to wonder where he got his hands on that style of rifle that is the current U.S. Army issue rifle? Is that a rifle that is actually U.S. Government property? No doubt Biden and the Democrats will try to blame the firearm involved and not the obvious “nut job” who is most likely is hiding someplace in the Maine woods.

He was committed to a mental health facility because he was hearing voices but released 2 weeks later. Why was he released so quickly? Was he "cured" in just 2 weeks, his insurance coverage ran out after 2 weeks, hospitals are not allowed to hold anyone against their will for longer than 2 weeks?

Read a report online that stated that this maniac has suffered from schizophrenia, and was known to the police.
And once again, nothing was done, and he was allowed to serve in the National Guard.
Same old pattern.

#7 nailed it. The loonies at gthe Maine mental health department released him after two weeks with some prescription for an anti-psychotic and appointments for follow up evaluations, likely because he could verbalize a statement such that, "I do not want to kill myself or others now". So if he is taking his meds he is relatively sane but if he stops the meds his insanity will return. The laws should have kicked in to immediately search any residence or vehicle for any and all weapons and ammunition, since he was a known schizophrenic with prior murdorous intent. F the HIPPA laws, any and all agencies should commuicate with each other when someone like this is in a community, but someone or some place or more likely a so called mental health professional dropped the ball.

Something not commented on is that if just one person in the bowling alley had been carrying and armed, perhaps the carnage could have been ended and lives saved.
