CTH readers don’t need to spend too much time digging into the granules of this recent New York Times article about how Christina Pushaw organized an online “influencer campaign” for Ron DeSantis that has failed miserably [SEE HERE]. However, it’s still funny to see the confirmation, and the people from inside the operation telling the NYT the group gets daily email instructions.
I wrote about the obvious transparency of the effort well over a year ago, and then continued to track it as the operation unfolded and grew just before the “official launch” of the DeSantis campaign

I read this earlier. Please, Ron, I like you. Please reevaluate your inner circle.

What #1 said. He made mistakes. Is it too late for him to fix them?

From where I stand afar, the campaign activities vs the Governor’s administration of the State of Florida are polar opposites.
Is his campaign sabotaged?
Otherwise, I can’t reconcile the dichotomy.

Two women in the photo, red, tight pantsuit on his left. Black business dress on his right. Can't decide which is Pushaw. So g'led the image. No way to tell there either.

I'm not sure if Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan came back from the grave they would have a chance against Donald Trump in 2024.
I hope DeSantis and his crew are taking notes on how NOT to do it in 2028.

#4 - Pushaw is the woman in red. Isn't it always a woman in red that brings down the innocent rube? At the end of the article is another photo that shows her real personality. She's the blond in black with the crazy eyes.
I laughed when I read this piece last night, thinking about all the Ldotters who keep insisting that Sundance doesn't do any research and just makes stuff up out of thin air. Well, here we are a year later and non other than the New York Times actually confirms his research! LOL. I doubt we will see any of those posters on this thread acknowledging their error.
Interesting Fact: Pushaw was involved in the Ukrainian election that swept Zelensky into office. Deep State player, anyone?

Actually, #6, Trumpy Sundance runs hot and cold (even though Mark Levin says CTH is a "kook" site). Today he's salivating over a NYT hit piece on DeSantis. Now why does anyone think the NYT would waste time on Ron DeSantis?

What an amalgam of eye glazing BS.
# 6, to my knowledge no one has ever suggested that Sundance did not do research. No, the complaint is that he is a vicious little character, an iconoclast who lives in a bizarro world of trivia and conspiracy mongering.
But go ahead, # 6, enjoy yourself until Trump crashes and burns next November (or perhaps sooner).. Then you can join the rest of the rah-rah chorus in blaming everyone but yourselves.
It distresses me to see someone like yourself, who understands all the fine points of theology, display such implacable hostility toward my governor, a rock solid conservative who never shys away from a fight, gets things done and represents the best hope for our future. Maybe there is something to what Bob C

Oops, continuing from # 8....
Bob Costas recently described all Trump supporters as cult followers. I would like to think that a glib comment by an elitist leftoid had no merit.

#8 - Governor DeSantis had great potential until he threw his lot in with the Uniparty. The hiring of Christina Pushaw, and her sorry astroturf results, is just another data point that proves his true alliance. He is allowed to support and enact a certain amount of conservative legislation, just enough to make him look good to the rank and file as a "safe" alternative to President Trump. Should Ron successfully pull the wool over the eyes of enough scared GOPe sheeple, win the nomination and the election it will be the third Bush presidency by proxy.
My apologies if I did not exactly remember your complaint regarding Sundance. It wasn't important enough for me to research your past posts to determine whether or not it was due to lack of research, or your open-mind that sees "he is a vicious little character, an iconoclast who lives in a bizarro world of trivia and conspiracy mongering."

# 10, I thank you for replying.
Governor Ron has not thrown in his lot with the Uniparty contingent. Some Mickey Mouse personnel move is nothing in the scheme of things. Why some folks focus on things like that is beyond my understanding. Perhaps it is a passionate devotion to Trump which leaves them blind to the future
I live in Florida. Like you I am a pro-life social conservative, and my governor has not let me down yet.
But if you take your cues from Sundance you may conclude that he is the sell-out beast incarnate. Big Mistake.
And you know as well as I that if we don't win in '24 it's Game Over for the republic. I don't see 270 for Trump - wish I did. We need a fresh face with electoral room to grow, a solod conservative who knows better than Trump how to handle the media. I will certainly vote for Trump if he is nominated (and at this point it looks as though he probably will be), but our votes will mean nothing if the radical Left completes its takeover.

#11 - Thank you for responding. If the Uniparty can take out Donald Trump with all his wealth, power and support, what makes you think Ron DeSantis has the clout to beat them? Should Trump drop out, all the vitriol directed at him now would just be redirected at DeSantis with smears and lies 24/7. He will be the GOPe's sacrificial lamb and they will do nothing to support him. Don't discount Sundance just because you don't like his message. Have a blessed day.
