Illegal aliens being deported from the United States will be a “horrifying reality” if former President Donald Trump is elected president next year, a spokesman for President Joe Biden’s campaign says. As Breitbart News reported, Trump’s immigration agenda was detailed in the New York Times over the weekend. The plan includes: Mass deportations of illegal aliens; An end to birthright citizenship for the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens; A large-scale increase in immigration detention space; The end of former President Obama’s DACA program for illegal aliens;

Forgive me --- but I fail to see how this reality is "horrifying". Many of us will be celebrating when that day arrives.

I was not happy to hear Trump mention wanting to deport 10 million, as that's just not going to happen unless it's on paper then have them all apply under the normal immigration process. As far as DACA, it's not a legal program but no one is willing to send millions of 13-25 year olds out of the country either. Fixing the process and the immigration system is more practical. Close the loopholes of asylum and parole being used by the Democrats.

Two suggestions: Start with the deportation of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib. The large-scale increase in immigration detention space should be in Central America or Haiti;

Doesn’t “horrify,” me. Illegally entering this country with no intention of assimilation, taking advantage of every social service, jobs from underemployed Americans, or criminal or even enemy combatants, unvetted for disease or background, their only qualification to potentially vote Democrat? When my grandparents and their friends and families had to undergo evaluation at Ellis Island and pass a Citizenship Test? Adios.

Results of the 'Age' Question for Joe Biden 1 reply

Just when the White House thought the worst had passed regarding The New York Times' disastrous poll for Joe Biden, Sunday morning brought us the second half of the equation. In the first release, the survey showed Donald Trump leading the current president by five points. That led to a bout of cross-tab "truther-ism" in which liberals showed they have no idea how polling works. Whatever penchant Republicans had for dismissing or trying to "un-skew" polls in past cycles, Democrats have firmly taken up that mantle, and it's hilarious to see.

Many of us have experienced people in our lives who build a certain narrative which we accept despite evidence before our eyes. Sometimes it’s easier to accept the narrative, sometimes the benefit of the relationship outweighs the cost of facing the facts. Very often, there comes a time when the dam we built to hold the facts away from our consciousness breaks. That is usually a critical moment. The same holds for our relationship with government. We all have accepted a certain narrative about our government. The less informed talk about a “democracy.”

Following a lawsuit that led to Arizona legislators facing accusations of discrimination for requiring voters to verify their U.S. citizenship, Judge Susan Bolton ruled on Thursday that such requirements were not discriminatory. In March 2022, a group of plaintiffs led by the Hispanic voting rights organization “Mi Familia Vota” filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, claiming that the state’s law was unconstitutional.
