There Are No Good Options For Israel and America

Original Article

There are a lot of interesting responses in the United States to the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel. Clearly, the most rational is to be outraged at the rape, kidnapping, and murder of Israeli civilians perpetrated by so-called soldiers of Islam. They are not soldiers or freedom fighters at all; they are savages unbound by any sense of military discipline or duty to the Palestinian people. If they were soldiers, they would consider Israel’s potential responses and the resulting damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties before launching such a cruel attack. We are very right to be outraged.

There is a wonderful option for Israel and America: Destroy Hamas and allied terrorist groups, then wipe out the Mullahs and the Republican Guard. That's a GREAT option.

Turn northern half of Gaza into a desert and declare it a DMZ. Same with southern Lebanon.

The IDF knows, and we do well to remember, that life is cheap in Islam. Dying in war is a ticket straight to "paradise." where all that's forbidden now is over-indulged in - forever. Muslims sell their daughters because poor people cannot borrow money in Islam. Muslims "honor kill" their women for the "crime" of being raped by a relative. When Muslim religious leaders get wind that a young man is "sinning" he doesn't try to help him....instead he emotionally blackmails him into becoming a suicide bomber or jihadist. I really don't know how we can pretend there is any moral equivalence between ourselves and those in Islam.

There was an informative article a couple of days ago on Lucianne that compared Hong Kong to Palestine. There are some comparable points made in these two articles. One of them is the statement made in this article: "The Palestinians are not going elsewhere because none of their Arab neighbors will have them". Too bad they won't consider taking advice from Hong Kong. . .

I do not think Mr Rowe has considered what appears to be Israel’s immediate plans. It seems to be to level northern Gaza, treating all present as militants. While it would be a massive effort, it doesn’t carry the military risk that surgical rooting out of militants (if indeed such distinction can be made). I do agree that options are thin…especially for the 2.5 million Arabs in Gaza whose raison d’être is their Stone Age purpose is to wipe out other cultures. I suggest that that « aid » to Gaza is structured wrong…as it rewards their fighting. Perhaps it would be better if aid were tied to peace. And, fwiw, they have labor rates and skills that would compete well in the world market for production of low cost consumer goods.

The solution is simple: The entire territory of Israel and Judah belongs to Israel! God gave this land to the twelve tribes of Jacob (Israel). The enemies of Israel have always tried to occupy this territory to no avail through God's intervention. In about 135 A.D., the Romans wanted to erase the memory of the Jewish people, so they renamed the land "Palestine" after an ancient enemy of the Jews. Does anyone remember the Greek Philistines? The the British mandate in 1920 reused the name "Palestine" when given authority over the land after WWI. Finally, in 1948, Israel defeated five Arab nations and established (the rebirth of Israel) the modern state of Israel. GEEZE!

I think I've found the strategy with the right track record. It's from a poem that was made into a song. "MIne eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord. He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored. He have loosed the fateful lighting of His terrible swift sword. His truth is marching on."

"How can Israel eventually win the hearts and minds of the Palestinians and eliminate the enmity of the Arab world? " This is NO LONGER a valid goal, if it ever was. The people living in Gaza (there is no such thing as a "Palestinian") have repeatedly proven they have NO interest in living peacefully with Israel, let alone committing their "hearts and minds". Israel should level Gaza and turn it into a NO GO zone where NO ONE can live. Any non Israeli military person there is subject to arrest or being killed.

As reported earlier House Republicans voted down their most popular and respected member, Jim Jordan for House Speaker today. The Republican lawmakers held a secret ballot away from their voters and overwhelmingly decided to oust Jordan from the Speaker’s race. The Republicans voted 112-86 in a secret ballot to oust the Ohio Republican from the race. The House of Representatives has been without a Speaker for more than 2 weeks after Matt Gaetz filed a motion to vacate the chair. Kevin McCarthy was ousted as House Speaker earlier this month in a 216-210 vote. 8 Republicans voted to oust McCarthy: Biggs, Buck, Burchett, Crane, Gaetz, Good, Mace, and Rosendale.

If our government does not respect the Constitution, we have no constitution. If the government refuses to stand behind the principles of free speech, the right to free assembly, the right to petition the government, the right to a speedy trial, etc., those rights don’t exist. Instead, we simply have rule down the barrel of a gun…a gun held only in government hands. I thought of that when I read about Doug Mackey, sent to federal prison for seven months because he insulted Hillary voters, and Ryan Kelley, given an extra-long prison sentence on a misdemeanor because he didn’t grovel sufficiently before his J6 hanging judge.

The House speakership has not been a happy thing for Republicans lately. While Nancy Pelosi was a raging leftist who successfully corralled her party and rammed through the leftist agenda (love her or hate her, she was effective), the same cannot be said for recent Republican speakers. John Boehner and Paul Ryan were RINOs. Kevin McCarthy was much more conservative, and for that he deserves credit, but he reneged on promises, especially about January 6. Since his ouster, though, it’s been one humiliation Now, however, with Byron Donalds having thrown his hat in the ring, there’s hope. Whether you think Matt Gaetz was bold to punish yet another.

On October 7, the day Hamas attacked Israel, Inbal Rabin-Lieberman, a 25-year-old security coordinator at the Kibbutz Nir Am settlement located near the Gaza Strip, saved lives because she had a gun. After the kibbutz came under attack, Inbal hurriedly opened the armory and distributed guns to the twelve-member security team. She caught the Hamas murderers unawares because they were not expecting to meet armed resistance. Lieberman killed five terrorists while the others gunned down twenty-five before the Israeli Defense Force arrived. Because of her actions, Nir-Am was the only settlement bordering the Gaza Strip that did not suffer Israeli casualties during Hama’s attack.

It’s pretty clear that lying goes along with being a slimy politician. Mitt Romney provides the proof. Just a few generations ago, most Americans understood that George Orwell’s classics Animal Farm and 1984 were written as a warning about how freedom is lost to the tyranny and intolerance of totalitarianism. Animal Farm and 1984 were particularly apt for teaching young people at a time when the shocking revelations about Nazism and Soviet communism that were coming out in the 1950s and 1960s were hard to digest. Most important, what these works revealed was that a defining feature of totalitarianism is mind control. First, propaganda warps and destroys people’s grasp on reality

In a development that truly defies parody, Harvard students who signed an egregious, terrorism-justifying statement are now whining about the "bullying" they've experienced over the moral disgrace to which they signed their names. The heinous actions of the Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023 can unequivocally be described as evil. It had as its genesis the inculcated belief that Jews are malevolent and subhuman, therefore, they are deserving of death, destruction and being conquered by any means possible including the unconscionable and premeditated slaughter of women, children and the elderly. In keeping with a tactic almost as old as mankind itself, the self-appointed leaders of Middle Eastern Islamic terrorist groups and the political leaders of nations such as Iran have manipulated their maleducated followers or citizenry into believing Israel and the Jews have either taken what is rightfully theirs,

But Democratic strategists told the Daily Caller the president has handled the Israel-Hamas war well, giving numerous public appearances and even presenting himself as a strong commander-in-chief.

The GOP opposition to Jordan’s bid had steadily grown with each successive ballot: 2o members of the caucus voted against him on the first ballot and 22 voted against him the second time around.

Before epilepsy was understood to be a neurological condition, people believed it was caused by the moon, or by phlegm in the brain. They condemned seizures as evidence of witchcraft or demonic possession, and killed or castrated sufferers to prevent them from passing tainted blood to a new generation. Today we know epilepsy is a disease. By and large, it’s accepted that a person who causes a fatal traffic accident while in the grip of a seizure should not be charged with murder. That’s good, says Stanford University neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky. That’s progress. But there’s still a long way to go.
