Equal justice under the law is a difficult concept to understand for CBS Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan. During an interview Sunday with Republican Congressman Mike Turner, Brennan seemed stunned that he called for both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump to be treated the same for mishandling classified documents. “You were talking about classified documents, mishandled by the current president, and you said that when it came to Biden and Trump, they're both equally egregious with equal classification issues.This past week, President Biden was interviewed by special counsel Robert Hur,” Brennan noted.

A resurgence of citizen activism is making waves on Capitol Hill. Conservatives across the United States are rallying behind Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as he vies for the position of Speaker of the House.

Fourteen more House Republicans publicly backed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as Speaker-designate hours before the House is scheduled to hold a potential vote for Speaker.
As Breitbart News previously reported, 132 House Republicans publicly supported Jordan Monday afternoon. That count swelled to 146 Monday evening with support from Reps. Stephanie Bice, Kevin Kiley, Claudia Tenney, Rob Wittman, Lance Gooden, Mike Gallagher, Cliff Bentz, Pete Sessions, Diana Harshbarger, Rick W. Allen, Frank Lucas, Michael McCaul, John Joyce, and Hal Rogers.The number of 146 lawmakers supporting Jordan is likely less than the actual number who support Jordan.
President Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday in a dramatic show of solidarity with the Jewish state, which is still reeling from a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists earlier this month.
The trip comes ahead of Israel’s expected ground invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza in an effort to wipe out the organization and as the U.S. ramps up efforts with Middle East allies to avoid a humanitarian crisis.

(Via Wall Street Journal) – The U.S. military has selected roughly 2,000 troops to prepare for a potential deployment to support Israel, U.S. defense officials said.
The troops are tasked with missions like advising and medical support, the officials said, and they are from across the U.S. armed services. They aren’t intended to serve in a combat role, the officials said. No infantry have been put on prepare-to-deploy order.
The media and punditry are saying it’s the pressure of Jordan, but really, it’s the pressure of the voters that’s scaring the crap out of the Republicans in the House.

First, we should note that there was a little bit of water-carrying for Joe Biden with host Scott Pelley saying that the president was fitting them into his busy schedule on Thursday. Biden had his 10 a.m. daily briefing and a 4:30 meeting where he just had to sit and listen to CEOs, how is that busy? Maybe it's "busy" for an 80-year-old who has so many issues. But that's why he shouldn't even be there.
