AOC says 'anti-Semitic' Christian fundamentalism
in the US is partially to blame for the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York is naming Christian fundamentalism as a key driver of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, pointing to recent US actions in the region. Speaking on local New York radio station Hot 97/WQHT on Thursday morning, the progressive Democratic congresswoman argued that the conflict was not simply the result of Islamic fundamentalism and Israeli extremism. "It's not just Islamic, it's not just Jewish, it is also Christian," said Ocasio-Cortez. "In the United States of America, Christian fundamentalism and nationalism — which has also been extremely anti-Semitic — has also aligned itself with some of the most right-wing and authoritarian and inflammatory powers in the region."

Well, then, all those "anti-Semitic Christians" must be of the liberal Christian variety. You know, like the churches where you'd tend to find AOC if she were want to sit in a pew for awhile. All the conservative Christians I see are all at the "We Stand With Israel" rallies.

And now, she's a theological historian. More American Christian fundamentalists than American Jews supported the move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem because the former are probably more concerned about the fate of Israel than the latter.

AOC's political allies are anti-Semitic. Why doesn't be brave and go tell them off? Not a Christian fundamentalist myself but I have to say I do not know a more staunchly pro-Jewish group of people. They by and large think God has asked them to look after the Jews and so they will, regardless of differences of opinion. Is it the differences of opinion AOC thinks are anti-Semitic? Kind of like how words are violence but violence isn't violence? Listen. Differences of opinion or religion are not anti-Semitism. Cheering for pogroms, now that is anti-Semitism.

She knows nothing about the subject on which she is pontificating; but that's never stopped her before. Christians know that we and the Jews are part of the same family and because of that we support them not only because God has called us to do so but because we want to. I was out running errands this morning and every church I drove past ~ and where I live there are churches galore ~ all had some message of support for Israel or a reminder to pray for them posted on their signs. Every time she opens her mouth AOC broadcasts her stupidity.

why do we bother listening or responding to such stupidity. I know a lot of what these bozo's call fundamentalists, the vast majority are very pro Israel. It has a lot to do with the fact that the children if Abraham are our spiritual brothers and sister, they are the natural children, we are the adopted children, it also has to do with prophecy. Israel had to return for the return of the Messiah. In the end we support the right of the Jews to Jerusalem and the Holy land. When the nation of Israel transgress' as all nations do they will be called to judgement. Their right to exist is absolute as far as I and many of my friends are concerned.

The Attack by Hamas Shatters The Lies

As we watch the horrific images of Hamas's brutal attack on Israeli citizens, there is no mistaking the face of evil. This is brutality on a scale most of us here in America have never witnessed - the rapes of women who are dragged through the streets to cheers. Babies murdered in their cribs — beheaded — fathers shot while trying to help their families escape—charred remains of still-smoking corpses in gardens, doorways, and cars. For the past three years, our government has lied to us about what happened on January 6th. The Vice President stood before us and compared a riot at the Capitol to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.

One unexpected blowback from the medieval Hamas's barbaric murdering of hundreds of Israeli civilians is the revelation of current global amorality. More than 20 Harvard university identity politics groups pledged their support to the Hamas murderers -- to the utter silence for days of Harvard President Claudine Gay. Americans knew higher education practiced racist admission policies. It has long promoted racially segregated dorms and graduations. And de facto it has destroyed the First Amendment. But the overt support for Hamas killers by the diversity, equity, and inclusion crowd on a lot of campuses exposes to Americans the real moral and intellectual rot in higher education.

The Democratic Party is in a state of rhetorical paralysis. This weekend, as Palestinian terrorists streamed across the Israeli border, the White House maintained hours of thunderous silence. On Saturday, the Biden administration released a few limp paragraphs to the effect that “terrorism is never justified” and “Israel has a right to defend itself and its people.” This, after an uninterrupted outpouring of financial and oratorical support for Ukraine, is weak tea. But as the head of a party that is being overrun in not-so-slow motion by a vigorous young coterie of anti-Israel extremists, what more could Joe Biden say? "The targeting of civilians is a war crime, no matter who does it. Israel’s blanket denial of food, water, and other necessities to Gaza is a serious violation of international law and will do nothing but harm innocent civilians," said Sanders. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday ordered a "complete siege" on Gaza following the killing and kidnapping of civilians in southern Israel by Hamas terrorist fighters on Saturday. During the 2020 election, now-President Joe Biden positioned himself as a return to political normalcy following the unusual rise of former President Donald Trump and his less-than-predictable presidency. But now, various crises at home and abroad threaten to paint Biden's tenure as anything but normal. On Saturday, Israel faced surprise attacks from Hamas terrorists, who breached the country's borders by land, air, and sea. Hundreds of Israeli civilians are dead, and thousands have been injured. Further, the armed terrorists captured civilians, taking them back to Gaza as hostages. The attack was the worst on Israel since the Yom Kippur War 50 years earlier.

Let’s be honest about Mark Milley’s legacy. To read the voluminous coverage of General Mark Milley’s retirement as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one might mistakenly surmise that he is the greatest military patriot since George Washington. But the opposite is far closer to the truth. Promoted as the supposed savior of the republic by a well-orchestrated public relations campaign and a fawning press, Milley exhibited ambitions more akin to those of a partisan military commissar than the nation’s senior military adviser under the authority of the president. His tenure proved destructive to post-WWII civil-military norms, the integrity of the military chain of command, and the image

The sheer depravity of Hamas’s attack on Israel, during which its terrorists murdered close to 1,000 people and beheaded babies, is causing acute discomfort and splits in America’s Left. For many, this is not the same discomfort as is felt on the Right and in the center, where there is simple horror and instinctive sympathy with terrorized people who otherwise live freely and peaceably in a high-functioning democracy under the rule of law. For them, appalling cruelty and sadistic gloating by Hamas murderers unambiguously distinguish evil from good. Common decency and humanity incline ordinary people to side with the victims. These swift reflexes are supported by inescapable conclusions based on

JERUSALEM — Israel’s military on Friday directed the evacuation of northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people — about half of the territory’s population — within 24 hours, a U.N. spokesman said. This could signal an impending ground offensive, though the Israeli military has not yet confirmed such an appeal. On Thursday it said that while it was preparing, a decision has not yet been made. The order, delivered to the U.N., comes as Israel presses an offensive against Hamas militants. The only question is how much of that will we be paying. But sure. Why not pump another $294 million into the terror nests after all the billions we’ve already spent subsidizing them? What could possibly go wrong? The United Nations issues an emergency appeal for $294 million to address “the most urgent needs” in Gaza and the West Bank. The funds would be used to help more than 1.2 million people, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says, stressing that aid groups do not have “the resources required to adequately respond to the full range of needs of vulnerable Palestinians.” You could address some pretty urgent needs

Hundreds of Hollywood actors and executives, from Michael Douglas to Jerry Seinfeld to Gal Gadot, have signed a letter expressly condemning the terrorist attack in Israel at the hands of Hamas. The letter from the nonprofit Creative Community for Peace included 700 signatures and condemned Hamas for “barbaric acts of terrorism” in Israel that “must be called out by everyone.” “The nightmare that Israelis have feared for decades became a reality as Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli cities and towns,” the message stated. “Under the cover of thousands of rockets fired indiscriminately into civilian populations, Hamas murdered and kidnapped innocent men, women, and children. They kidnapped and murdered infants and the elderly.

Far-left Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis lashed out at House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan on Wednesday for demanding she answer questions about her RICO and conspiracy investigation into Trump and 18 of his associates and lawyers. Fani Willis once again refused to cooperate with Jim Jordan and accused him of being ignorant of the law. “A charitable explanation of your correspondence is that you are ignorant of the United States and Georgia Constitutions and codes,” Fani Willis wrote in response to a letter from Jim Jordan, The Hill reported. “A more troubling explanation is that you are abusing your authority as Chairman of the Committee

Pro-Hamas demonstrations show European nations, including Germany, made a “grave mistake”, and the continent should be concerned about future hostage-taking raids against its own people if the idea isn’t defeated quickly, Henry Kissinger warns. Europe is subject to internal pressure by groups of people “of totally different culture and religion” because of the “grave mistake” of admitting too many foreigners, Henry Kissinger said of the phenomenon of demonstrations across Europe in support of Hamas terrorists this week.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) put financial institutions on notice for rejecting illegal immigrants’ credit applications. The DOJ issued the warning in a joint statement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on Thursday. (snip) The two agencies claimed that the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) protections for national origin and race extended to alienage, though they admitted that no such explicit provisions spelled out their interpretation. The agencies conceded that creditors could rely on immigration status to determine repayment ability, but then cautioned against “unnecessary or overbroad reliance” on immigration status.

Cindy Flash — a 67-year-old Minnesota native — and her 66-year-old husband, Igal Flash, were among more than 1,300 people murdered by Saturday’s brutal Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. Flash’s family described her as a “staunch advocate for the rights of Palestinians” and an outspoken opponent of Israeli military action. Cindy Flash hailed from St. Paul, Minnesota, while Igal Flash was the son of Holocaust survivors and an Israeli citizen. She relocated to the Kfar Aza kibbutz in southern Israel many years ago after visiting as a college student. (snip) One of Cindy’s last messages to her daughter presaged her fate: “They are breaking down the safe room door.”

Harvard president Claudine Gay has condemned the 'barbaric atrocities perpetrated by Hamas' - but rejected calls to punish pro-Palestine groups who justified the attack that killed over 1,000 Israelis. In her third statement since the attacks on Saturday, Gay posted a video message titled 'Our Choices' on Thursday to social media addressing calls for the Harvard students who blamed Israel for the horrific attack to be punished. 'People have asked me where we stand so let me be clear, our university rejects terrorism. That includes the barbaric atrocities perpetrated by Hamas. Our university rejects hate - hate of Jews, hate of Muslims, hate of any group of people

Israel is on the cusp of an armed military incursion into the Gaza Strip to battle Hamas militants who slaughtered hundreds of civilians this past weekend in a series of ruthless surprise attacks. In the meantime, Israel's air force is pounding Gaza with constant airstrikes in an attempt to reduce Hamas infrastructure and military targets to rubble. There's just one problem.Hamas does not operate like a normal enemy, nor do they live in obvious, above-ground compounds or travel through the streets like most Palestinian civilians bearing the brunt of Israel's bombs.

We've seen a lot of problematic responses from the left when it comes to the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. But some of the worst from media have come from MSNBC. People have called them out for their horrible takes, including trying to "both sides" the attack by Hamas on Israel. NewsNation host Dan Abrams singled out MSNBC anchors Ayman Mohyeldin, Mehdi Hasan, and Ali Velshi for saying the Hamas assault was the result of “failed policies” by Israel and the US. Right. It’s Israel’s fault. It’s the United States fault,” Abrams said mockingly on Monday. “The policies that somehow justify or
