Hamas and Amoral Clarity

Original Article

One unexpected blowback from the medieval Hamas's barbaric murdering of hundreds of Israeli civilians is the revelation of current global amorality. More than 20 Harvard university identity politics groups pledged their support to the Hamas murderers -- to the utter silence for days of Harvard President Claudine Gay. Americans knew higher education practiced racist admission policies. It has long promoted racially segregated dorms and graduations. And de facto it has destroyed the First Amendment. But the overt support for Hamas killers by the diversity, equity, and inclusion crowd on a lot of campuses exposes to Americans the real moral and intellectual rot in higher education.

I felt the very same thing; that Hamas really did the Western world a favor by bringing the true anti Semites and neobarbarians out from under their rocks and into the light.

to be clear, though, of the 34 original groups 5 have officially withdrawn their signatures, bcause it seems the signature was rammed through without discussion. And the remaining thirty, I just want to say, these are not the big student clubs. This is not the Crimson, Hasty Pudding, the Black Student Association, etc., Not. It will by the look of it turn out to be the work of five or six people strong-arming a few dozen more who in turn are claiming to represent a memership of a few hundred and obtaining headlines on behalf of Harvard.

FTA: "NATO partner Turkey openly sided with the killers." Ah, the Turks. Ask the Armenians, the Greeks of Smyrna (now Izmir, after all the Greeks there turned up dead) and the Kurds about the Turks' opinion on killing unarmed civilians.

#4, yes, this event has also revealed that the (supposedly) best-educated college students in the country will sign - unread - anything shoved in front of their faces, if the right keywords are used. Just like the stereotypical high-school dropout, conservative, fly-over country resident, MAGA supporter strawman they rail so much about. Who's playing the banjo now?

I have yet to see this question: From the viewpoints of preborn and newborn babies; what is the difference between abortionists and Hamas? (IMO, abortionists are more savage in their butcheries). Their mentality is no different. Neither have consciences.

A Biden administration official has resigned from the State Department, citing President Biden's announcement of material support for Israel. The official said he "cannot work" as the U.S. helps Israel in its war against the Hamas terrorist group. Josh Paul, who worked for the State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, where he was responsible for transferring arms to key American allies, posted his resignation letter on social media. In it, he said "continued lethal assistance to Israel" prompted his decision to leave. "Today I informed my colleagues that I have resigned from the State Department, due to a policy disagreement concerning our continued lethal assistance to Israel,"

Events of the past week have brought clarity in many areas. Perhaps the one that hits closest to home for many Americans is the moral rot of academia. Leading academics, scholars, professors, students, and administrators in the United States have had a shockingly hard time condemning mass murder and rape at a music concert in the desert, the slaughter of babies, and the kidnapping of more than 100 civilians of all ages. A disturbing number have celebrated these actions. A larger group have cheered the perpetrators. A still larger cadre have reminded us of the subtle and deep complexities underlying such misdirected anger – which they dare not call barbarism

The imposition of a gag order on former President Donald Trump was overwhelmingly applauded by pundits and press alike. Journalists described the order from U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan as “narrow” and “limited.” Most of them lionized Chutkan as an “unflinching” and “no-nonsense” judge who would not tolerate Trump’s penchant for personal attacks and reckless rhetoric. However, this order should concern everyone who values freedom of speech. While the odds may favor Chutkan on appeal, this order should be overturned as overbroad and dangerous.

The United States is pouring more than $12 billion a year of our tax money down the UN rathole and squandering a better opportunity. The dream behind the UN’s founding, to provide an international forum for peaceful cooperation and the prevention of war, doesn’t have to be discarded. America should lead the democratic nations to establish a new forum and junk the UN. Those two letters have come to stand for Useless Nations — or worse, Unethical Nations. The UN lends legitimacy to ruthless, despotic regimes and even a terrorist organization, Hamas.

This week, U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan overseeing United States v. Donald Trump issued a gag order prohibiting a leading presidential candidate, Donald Trump, from engaging in speech aimed at “government staff,” among others, during his trial. Listen, I understand the disdain some conservatives feel for the former president. I share the sentiment. But if you’re cheering on a judge who’s inhibiting political speech on rickety grounds, you’re no friend of the “democracy” or the Constitution.

The barbaric and evil terrorist attacks on Israel are a horrific reminder that the world is safe when America is strong—but when we have a weak president in the White House, the costs can be greater than our worst nightmares. If we hope to prevent further shedding of innocent blood, the United States must learn the painful lessons of these savage atrocities. As we pray for the Israeli people in this hour of anguish and give them our complete and total support, we must also confront the absolute failure of the Biden administration, whose incompetence and ignorance invited this heinous and deadly assault on civilization itself.

The Global Day of Jihad didn’t live up to its apocalyptic promise Friday. But if it had, it’s doubtful that the FBI would have been much use, since it’s so distracted with an exaggerated domestic terrorism crisis in which conservatives are the bad guys and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was a terrorist attack worse than 9/11. This is the “ultra-MAGA-semi-fascist” threat Joe Biden likes to rail against and that he needs for his election campaign to divide the country further, and to justify indicting his main political rival, locking up Donald Trump supporters, and imposing an Orwellian level of mass surveillance, censorship and ideological indoctrination on Americans.

As we watch the horrific images of Hamas's brutal attack on Israeli citizens, there is no mistaking the face of evil. This is brutality on a scale most of us here in America have never witnessed - the rapes of women who are dragged through the streets to cheers. Babies murdered in their cribs — beheaded — fathers shot while trying to help their families escape—charred remains of still-smoking corpses in gardens, doorways, and cars. For the past three years, our government has lied to us about what happened on January 6th. The Vice President stood before us and compared a riot at the Capitol to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York is naming Christian fundamentalism as a key driver of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, pointing to recent US actions in the region. Speaking on local New York radio station Hot 97/WQHT on Thursday morning, the progressive Democratic congresswoman argued that the conflict was not simply the result of Islamic fundamentalism and Israeli extremism. "It's not just Islamic, it's not just Jewish, it is also Christian," said Ocasio-Cortez. "In the United States of America, Christian fundamentalism and nationalism — which has also been extremely anti-Semitic — has also aligned itself with some of the most right-wing and authoritarian and inflammatory powers in the region."
