Still can't figure out how she's considered a resident of the State of California. She could not qualify for in-state tuition as it takes 1 year of residency for that to become effective.

#11 - Thank you for the link to a very informative article on Butler's residence eligibility, and the Constitutional standard. As a Californian, I was initially outraged that a former-Golden-Stater turned Marylander was tapped by Governor Brylcream to ride out the rest of DiFi's term, however if the poor conservatives in Pennsylvania can put up with Fetterman - I can put up with LaFonzie. The days of men like Daniel Patrick Moynihan in the U.S. Senate are long gone. To quote an infamous woman, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

President Joe Biden got tongue-tied trying to recite the name of a student loan forgiveness website providing information on a new plan to help save borrowers money as payments resume this month. During an announcement Wednesday on a new Education Department initiative to lower monthly costs to student loan borrowers, Biden couldn't seem to recite the website's URL from the teleprompter. 'No one with an undergraduate loan today or in the future, whether a community college or a four-year college, will have to pay more than 5 percent of their discretionary income to repay these loans,' Biden said during remarks unveiling the new plan.

McAllen, Texas—The Biden administration announced they waived 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow border wall construction on Wednesday, marking the administration’s first use of a sweeping executive power employed often during the Trump presidency. The Department of Homeland Security posted the announcement on the U.S. Federal Registry with few details outlining the construction in Starr County, Texas, which is part of a busy Border Patrol sector seeing “high illegal entry.” According to government data, about 245,000 illegal entries have been recorded in this region during the current fiscal year. “There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border

Donald Trump recently made headlines when he said, “Our currency is crashing and will soon no longer be the world standard, which will be our greatest defeat frankly in 200 years.” Democrats and establishment media figures laughed at him. But he was right. At a recent summit in South Africa, the BRICS group of nations led by China and Russia declared it will continue to seek ways to work around the dollar. And if they succeed, this could be the final nail in the coffin of the dollar’s global reserve status, thus forcing America into an economic collapse on par or worse than the Great Depression.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) successfully led a coup against now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday. He managed to eke out a “win” by rallying the entire Democrat caucus and eight Republicans to oust him. It’s the first time that has happened in U.S. history. And it’s a total clown show. Not only does it distract from the already tense budget negotiations, but it makes a laughingstock of the GOP—and the U.S.—and gives Democrats even more leverage to push through their radical policies.
