Disney-Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ is a
beautiful, sensible, and very leftist movie

The newest movie from Pixar for Disney is Elemental, which was released in the spring. However, since I never voluntarily watch these movies, I ended up seeing it now because I’m staying with people who wanted to watch it. It was a fascinating film because, combined with surprising common sense, it reflects so much about leftist values and how leftists impose them on Americans, especially on children. For those who know nothing about the movie, the setting is a place called Element City, in which actual elements live: water, air, earth, and fire. A fire husband and his pregnant wife (Bernie and Cinder) escape their obviously third-world country and come

Apparently no “elements” in the story. Fire is a chemical process, water is a molecule, not sure what earth is supposed to be, soil? I’m surprised they didn’t have an actual element, carbon, be the bad guy with a Snidley Whiplash mustache and black top hat.

#8, in pre-science days, earth, wind, water and fire were considered the four basic "elements " of the material world. They were not especially useful in explaining how the world works. Maybe Disney is trying to take our kids back to pre-science days.

I remember a book that discussed racism between dwarves and trolls. Fascinating read. Dwarves and trolls hated each other for centuries with many race wars and riots when they lived in the same city. Sound familiar? Both races were quite shocked when an archeological dig found a city lost to time where dwarves and trolls lived together in peace. When a calamity overtook the city, they all died together.

Earth, water ,fire ,wind and sky, in that order represent the structure of creation which perfectly consistent with modern cosmology. -Earth represents the 92 elements naturally found in matter -It 's basic building block is the Proton/Neutron represented by Water (Hydro) - The proton is built of subatomic particles held together by vast amounts of energy emanating from the emissions from the Sun (represented on earth by Fire ) - These particles are condensed form of energy(e=mc2). Whose property is constant flowing therefore represented by the Wind - which came from Space/Time at the time of the Big Bang represented by the Sky Successively nested So you have the succession Earth->Water->Fire->Sky

The last Disney movie we enjoyed was Encanto. Very much a family centric movie in the line of old Pixar movies. No freaks or weirdos. No princesses. Just lots of good music, an actual story you can get into, and good feelings. We only really try Disney movies now when we are travelling and they are free on planes, in hotels, or Airbnbs. All the others recent contributions we have tried, we just turn off after 15 minutes or so, even the 5 year old is totally uninterested. None even come close to the fun and heart felt emotion of Cars or UP or The Incredibles or Monsters Inc or Toy Story or Tangled, all of which she adores. I expect this new Disney movie to be no different than their other woke contributions of late.

WASHINGTON — The threat of a federal government shutdown ended late Saturday, hours before a midnight deadline, as Congress approved a temporary funding bill to keep agencies open and sent the measure to President Joe Biden to sign. The rushed package drops aid to Ukraine, a White House priority opposed by a growing number of GOP lawmakers, but increases federal disaster assistance by $16 billion, meeting Biden’s full request. The bill funds government until Nov. 17. After whirlwind days of turmoil in the House, Speaker Kevin McCarthy suddenly abandoned demands for steep spending cuts from his right flank and instead relied on Democrats to pass the bill,

House Democrats are panning a Republican-backed bill to prevent a government shutdown in a potentially troubling sign for the bill’s path to passage. In a one-pager put together by Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee, they slam the Republicans’ stopgap bill as being a “Not So ‘Clean’ Continuing Resolution” and instead push for the Senate’s stopgap bill. The party takes aim at the bill for not including Ukraine aid, which the Senate includes in its bill, and other language Democrats claim could lead to members getting a “pay raise.” Democrats also claim the House GOP plan would deny “critical additional resources to the Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student
