Facebook Files V: How Facebook Bent the
Knee to White House Demands

On the latest episode of uncovering the Censorship Industrial Complex, Rep. Jim Jordan exposed how the White House used foreign misinformation to get Facebook to do its political bidding. Jordan released part five of the Facebook Files on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday which brought to light an alliance between the formerly U.K. based censorship activist organization Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), the Biden White House and Facebook. “Foreign activists at the CCDH feed false info to the Biden White House,” Jordan wrote. “The Biden Admin then uses the full weight of the federal govt to coerce Facebook to censor Americans

I would like to convey to Rep. Jordan, that the existence of the "Censorship Industrial Complex" (copyright Deep State, USA) has definitely been established. There is no need for further evidence or debate. Do something about it other than provide copy for conservative news outlets. If you are unable to hold anyone accountable, or pass meaningful legislature to curtail such activity; then what in the heck good are you or any of your so-call "Republican" colleagues? Since you like investigating so much, how about looking into the civil rights abuses being heaped upon the J6 arrestees? Their circumstances seem a bit more pressing than censorship on Twitter 2 years ago! And we were led to believe you were one of the good guys.

Left Facebook years ago for the same reason, too much censorship and inundated with advertising. Obviously the advertisers are pushing knowing their $$ are not giving a return. Bye bye!

You just cannot make some things up, and this just happens to be one of those stories. Back in 2021, X and Tesla owner Elon Musk expressed his hope that Starbase, the home of the facility where his SpaceX shoots off rockets into Texas skies, would become its own city. Now, it appears that's exactly what's about to happen, after an election on incorporation was held in Cameron County, Texas, on Saturday: The city at the southern tip of Texas near the Mexico border is only about 1.5 square miles (3.9 square kilometers), crisscrossed by a few roads and dappled with airstream trailers and modest midcentury homes.

Former Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva revealed that he was leaving the Democrat Party, after being a registered Democrat for more than 40 years, and joining the Republican Party. “As of today, I’m leaving the party of paid protests, purple hair, and pronouns, and joining the party of faith, family, and freedom,” Villanueva said in a video posted to X. Breitbart News previously reported that Villanueva, a former Democrat who was elected to serve as the sheriff of Los Angeles County in 2018, lost his re-election campaign in November 2022 to Robert Luna, the former police chief of Long Beach.

“Kindness is the beginning of cruelty.” —Frank Herbert Three years ago, the Democratic Party nominated John Fetterman to the Senate, despite his significant health problems. It wasn’t a secret: Fetterman’s brain trauma was on full display during his horrendous debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, where he stammered, stuttered, and (repeatedly) lost his train of thought. Fetterman won anyway, beating Oz by nearly 5% points, helping the Democrats flip the only Senate seat of the 2022 midterms, giving the Donkeys control of the Senate for the first time since 2015. It was an important election — and a Faustian bargain:

I was in the room when Warren Buffett said he would step down as CEO at the end of this year, marking the end of a remarkable tenure that has lasted nearly six decades. The legendary investor and Berkshire Hathaway boss made the surprise announcement in the closing minutes of a nearly five-hour-long Q&A on Saturday at his company's annual meeting in Omaha. The packed stadium was stunned into silence. The longest-serving S&P 500 CEO, who took the top job in 1970 and built Berkshire from a failing textile company into a $1 trillion company known around the world, was stepping down.

A panel of black voters spoke with CNN political analyst Van Jones and thoroughly eviscerated any theories about there being some regret when it comes to Trump supporters. The three individuals, each defined as not supporting the President before ultimately voting for him, had little hesitation when Jones asked if they were currently having second thoughts. Their comments show the media's coverage of 'buyer's regret' has been little more than wishcasting on their part. Jones presented each individual with a simple 'yes or no' question: Would you vote for Trump all over again?

Washington — A federal judge ruled Friday that President Trump's executive order targeting the law firm Perkins Coie is unconstitutional and permanently blocked the administration from enforcing it. In a 102-page decision, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell ruled in favor of the firm and said Mr. Trump's directive that sought to punish it sent the message that "lawyers must stick to the party line, or else." "Using the powers of the federal government to target lawyers for their representation of clients and avowed progressive employment policies in an overt attempt to suppress and punish certain viewpoints, however, is contrary to the Constitution, which requires that the government respond to dissenting

At the time of his admission, my father was admitted despite his Jewish heritage because at the time, the prestigious university was as fond of admitting Jews as it is of admitting Asians today. Harvard was WASP heaven then, and it is woke heaven now. Neither extreme is admirable, but on balance, the woke are miles worse than the WASPs. The WASPs were obsessed with protecting their social class, while the woke are convinced that the world would be a better place if only their class enemies were dead. Spring is in full throttle, with summer just around the corner. Around this time, events around me inevitably trigger the same two recurring questions, like clockwork, year after year after year. It is this second question I'm currently pondering, as I witnessed earlier in the day some poor sap driving a car, stuck behind a gaggle of inconsiderate male bicyclists (the rude ones are always men),

What Will Become of Democrat Calls For Violence? 17 replies

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.

In sum, banking on helping defeat Trump, the public-health establishment and media suppressed more credible options for dealing with a disease which was not life-threatening to most in order to promote a vaccine then in the works. The vaccine when it was developed and administered was not terribly effective and has itself caused substantial injury.
