Comments:

I noticed the death count stopped rising as soon as Old Joe announced his visit. When you consider at least 1,000 are still missing, the true count could easily be in the hundreds.

Makes you wonder if the good citizens of Hawaii will realize that voting for democrats is voting for death. But no, they'll continue to vote to keep those evil Republicans out of office. BTW...in answer to poster #1's question, never. This will be covered up just like TWA flight 800.

Electric vehicle purchases in Colorado are soaring, with EV registrations in 2022 up by 822% since 2016. But some firefighters say they're going to need a lot more resources if these vehicles keep coming at that rate, because they still don't know the best ways to extinguish the flames if an electric vehicle catches fire. Firefighters have had more than 100 years to perfect the art of putting out a fire involving a vehicle with a gas motor engine. But those traditional tactics don't work on electric vehicles because they use lithium ion batteries to run instead of gas. Lithium

Sure, “The Blind Side” made $309 million at the box office and Bullock won her long-awaited Academy Award, but many Black viewers “never cared much for it” according to The Root. Discerning critics also saw the movie, based on a best-selling book by Berkeley author Michael Lewis, as another Hollywood project that uses “White savior” tropes. Now, critics of the movie have more ammunition in the wake of bombshell court documents filed by Michael Oher, the Black athlete

When Hawaii officials released a report last year ranking the natural disasters most likely to threaten state residents, tsunamis, earthquakes and volcanic hazards featured prominently. Near the bottom of a color-coded chart, the state emergency management agency described the risk of wildfires to human life with a single word: “low.” A year and a half later, the catastrophic fires that engulfed Maui and the historic town of Lahaina this week have already become the state’s deadliest natural disaster in more than six decades, with a fatality count of at least 93. President Joe Biden's absence and lack of empathy towards the residents of Maui is a clear indicator he couldn't care less for Americans in need. During a CNN interview, a longtime Maui resident got emotional when asked why Biden is taking so long to visit the devastated area and those affected by the wildfires. "It's really affecting me because where's the President?" Maui resident Ella Sable Tacderan asked. "I mean, aren't we Americans, too? We're part of the United States. As many as 1000 persons, many of them children, may have died as a result of the fire in Maui. The exact toll -- above the hundreds documented -- is difficult to assess right now as the bodies are charred beyond recognition and scientific equipment to test the remains are not readily available, but the tragedy -- naturally and without basis -- is being blamed on "climate change” in many of the media accounts. In fact, these people died as human sacrifices to green policies, legislative and corporate missteps, and administrative incompetence. The citizens of Hawaii, a solidly Democratic one-party state, are learning what those of
