Trump defied the GOP ‘secret society’
by overturning Roe v. Wade and calling

Celebrating the first anniversary of the glorious overturning of Roe v. Wade in June, along with this year’s important U.S. Supreme Court decisions, it seems fitting to recognize the man who was the pivotal factor for these immense pro-life and conservative victories while also recalling those politicians and pundits who have failed or betrayed pro-life voters and many thousands of preborn children over many years.(Snip)After almost 50 years of the national Republican Party accomplishing precisely nothing of any substance for their enormous pro-life constituency, the impact of Trump’s first term stands in dramatic relief from the “secret society’s” standard shell game.

Comments:

In the 2024 race, President Trump repeatedly expresses his resolve to settle the war in Ukraine, demolish the deep state, expel the warmongers, and “restore the American republic to all of its radiant glory.” President Trump has exhibited and remains “fully determined and committed until the end” regardless of immense personal costs from his adversaries.

Walgreens stores in Chicago decided to play classical music to stop people from loitering. I wonder if the music will then stop people from robbing stores. From the Sun-Times: The Sun-Times this week found classical music greeting customers as they approached the entrance of stores in Greektown, the West Side and River North at 641 N. Clark St. It plays from speakers connected to the building that are covered by a protective screen. Customer reaction and the results appeared mixed. (Snip) A smattering of retailers in other states have reportedly resorted to grand opera, classical’s louder sibling.

As previously posted, the DOJ sought an extremely broad ‘protective order’ covering all materials turned over to Trump’s defense in the case. Trump objected that such a request was overly broad, that Trump had no objection so ‘sensitive’ information being subjected to a protective order, but that it would violate his first amendment rights (particularly in the middle of a campaign) [Snip] A hearing took place in federal court this morning, and according to reports, the Judge sided with Trump on the scope of the protective order, but reminded him that the terms of his release prohibit him from intimidating witnesses.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio voters on Tuesday resoundingly rejected a Republican-backed measure that would have made it more difficult to change the state’s constitution, setting up a fall campaign that will become the nation’s latest referendum on abortion rights since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned nationwide protections last year.(Snip)Dennis Willard, a spokesperson for the opposition campaign One Person One Vote, called Issue 1 a “deceptive power grab” that was intended to diminish the power of the state’s voters. “Tonight is a major victory for democracy in Ohio,” Willard told a jubilant crowd at the opposition campaign’s watch party. “The majority still rules in Ohio.”

I’ve been traveling since Monday night, so I haven’t had much time to comment here on the DC Trump indictment.(Snip)The indictment may make out a persuasive case that Trump lied in the post-election period about election fraud, and disregarded the warnings of his most trusted and most loyal confidants that what he was saying was not true, but that doesn’t equate to a crime. The core of the alleged crime is disruption of the electoral count, but that took place because of the riot, and Trump has not been indicted (yet) for inciting the riot. If only they were able to drop their partisan blinders and see the grave damage this legal lunacy is doing to our country! On Tuesday, U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith revealed felony charges against the former president for allegedly subverting the will of the American people and attempting to overturn the results of an election. Yes, Trump's behavior following his 2020 loss was wrong. But was it criminal? Not on the basis of what I've seen thus far.

(Children’s Health Defense) - A major increase in spontaneous abortion among pregnant women was directly linked to the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in Switzerland, according to a new analysis by statistician and University of Lucerne professor Dr. Konstantin Beck. Beck, a former adviser to the German Minister of Health and the Swiss Parliament, analyzed publicly available Swiss and German data from scientific publications, health insurance companies and the Swiss Federal Office of Statistics (FOS). He found that miscarriages and stillbirth rates in 2022 corresponded directly to COVID-19 vaccination among pregnant women in Switzerland nine months earlier.

Britain slept in the 1930s as an inevitable war with Hitler loomed. A lonely Winston Churchill had only a few courageous partners to oppose the appeasement and incompetence of his conservative colleague Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain. One of the most stalwart truth-tellers was a now little remembered politico and public servant Leo Amery, a polymath and conservative member of Parliament. Yet in two iconic moments of outrage against the Chamberlain government’s temporizing, Amery galvanized Britain and helped end the government’s disastrous policies.

Brett Baier is not qualified to moderate the Republican debate on August 23 in Milwaukee. Mr. Baier had a much-publicised interview with President Trump a month ago. This interview amply demonstrated Baier’s antipathy towards the President. Most of the time he appeared to be cordial towards the President, however, when Trump brought up the topic of the stolen election, Baier became abusively hostile and interrupted his guest incessantly and would not let the President talk. Right after the election the charges of fraud surfaced, and at every opportunity, the Republicans were asked by the media and Democrats if the election was stolen

Mayor Eric Adams issued a dire warning to President Biden, cautioning that the lack of federal funding to help the migrant crisis will eventually “decimate” the Big Apple — which serves as the “economic engine” of the country. Adams slammed border states for creating a “funnel” to New York on “CBS Mornings” Thursday, saying, “New York City is the economic engine of this entire state and country. If you decimate this city, you’re going to decimate the foundation of what’s happening.” That foundation finally began to crumble earlier this month as dozens of migrants were left sleeping on the streets of Midtown outside the intake center at the Roosevelt Hotel

It also had an ongoing firebug problem, and recent academic study warning that the place was very vulnerable to fire catastrophes. Somehow, none of that figured in the government's fire plan. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders quietly funneled $200,000 from his campaign's coffers to his wife's nonprofit institute, which appears to do very little work and pays six figures' worth of compensation to her son, Fox News Digital has found. The independent senator's committee cut two $100,000 checks to the Sanders Institute for reported charitable contributions in January and March, its Federal Election Commission records show. The expenditures are the largest from the Sanders campaign to any entity this election cycle. The senator's wife, Jane O'Meara Sanders, and stepson, David Driscoll, co-established the Sanders Institute in 2017 to act as a think tank to promote progressive voices, The Washington Post wrote at its launch.
