A struggling immigrant cabbie and married dad of two who was savagely beaten by a group of brutes in Midtown told The Post on Friday he’s appalled that two suspects were let go with a slap on the wrist. Taxi driver Afzal Butt, 60 — who suffered chest, neck and face injuries in the shocking Manhattan caught-on-camera beat-down — blasted New York’s lenient bail-reform laws as a “horrible system” after a pair of his alleged assailants were issued a desk-appearance ticket and allowed to walk free. “If they’re not going to put them behind bars, this is a horrible system,”(Snip)“Send the mayor the video and tell him die with the shame,”

The usual feral and cowardly street apes, including their females. I have absolutely no respect or sympathy left for them or their self-created problems. You must first act civilized if you want to be accepted into civilized society. Adams is pathetic.

The elephant in the room. Just another hate crime committed by young out of control black thugs. Think about it, Asians can't even walk the streets on NYC or San Francisco without fear of assault. Yet there is rarely a mention of a hate crime. First they harassed this poor guy by throwing food in his car then they attacked him like a bunch of hyenas. Look at every democratic run city, look around the world for that matter, same people same problems. Pathetic.

It's unconscionable that no one (several) came to help this man. We need a real Charles Bronson to take care of these savages because the elected government has totally failed in a main obligation. It's always the same actors.

My opinion #4: it may be that people are afraid of helping in these situations because while the thugs who perpetrate these crimes get off scot-free or with very minimal consequences the "good Samaritans" who attempt to help CAN BE subject to consequences (if Bragg gets his way.) It’s sad that we are living in an upside-down, backwards time but that is the way dems seem to want it.

Seems like taxi drivers may have to do like they did in the old west - have someone riding "shotgun" with a shotgun.

So, if a group of fed up New York types pay the mayor a visit and treat him in a similar fashion, will they get a slap on the wrist? Some how, I doubt it.
