Whenever I see a column in the New York Times by Maureen Dowd, writing about our liar and chief, I assume that she is talking about the current commander-in-chief who has been a congenital liar his entire life. The Moment of Truth for Our Liar in Chief After all, Joe Biden has lied continuously throughout his Washington career. He lies about big and little things. Here is a small sample: He lied about his college rank and grades at law school. He plagiarized a speech as he ran for president in 1988 The media chased him from that race.

Martha’s Vineyard law enforcement appears to have left a significant void in the details surrounding the tragic drowning of Obama’s private chef, Tafari Campbell.
The call log of the 911 distress call, received on the night of the accident, conspicuously omits the reason for the call, Daily Mail reported. Tafari Campbell, 45, met his tragic end while paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond, Martha’s Vineyard, on Sunday night. He was reportedly not alone, but local police have yet to disclose the other person’s identity.

Earlier today Senator Rand Paul went on with Maria Bartiromo on FOX Business Network.
Senator Paul does not support impeachment for Joe Biden at this point. He wants to see more evidence. And, being such an upstanding American citizen, Paul does not believe every president should be impeached. He leave that to Democrats. Later on Thursday morning Senator John Thune joined Stuart Varney and also pushed back against impeachment. Senator Thune and Senator Paul need to see more evidence before they support impeaching Joe Biden. They are upstanding citizens.

On the same day that UFO coverage and the Hunter Biden plea deal collapse captured the attention of the media, the destroyed and disgraced crypto billionaire convinced Southern District of New York prosecutors to drop a huge charge against him. Democrats to whom the accused Ponzi schemer shoveled millions during the 2022 election cycle were the biggest winners. Before it imploded, the billion-dollar crypto exchange FTX was a triple threat. I took a pretty liberal girl on a date to see William F. Buckley back in college, which would probably scandalize the current senior staff of his National Review, but I bet it would have made WFB smile. Buckley was also a graduate of the Army's former Ft. Benning School for Boys, but since his death, the Officer Candidate School has become Ft. Moore School for Boys, Girls, and Non-Binary Two-Spirits. This change for the worse is emblematic of how NR's conservatism has failed to conserve much of anything. Speaking to Fox News on Wednesday about Hunter Biden’s derailed plea deal, George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika raised an issue the White House “most fears.” As Axios reported, the contentious hearing included two recesses, one of which came after the judge questioned “whether the diversionary agreement shielded Hunter Biden from future prosecution under other laws including the Foreign Agent Registration Act.”
After much discussion and back-and-forth, a federal judge has declined to accept Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal. The deal would have allowed Biden to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax evasion charges and would have disposed of a felony gun charge. The president’s son was expected to get off with a couple of years of probation and a promise not to drink or go drugs, and to enter a diversion program to make the gun charges go away.
Hunter Biden entered a federal courtroom in Delaware Wednesday morning with the expectation of pleading guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges after being given a sweetheart plea deal by prosecutors in June."The court papers indicate the younger Biden has tentatively agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges of failure to pay in 2017 and 2018. The combined tax liability is roughly $1.2 million over those years, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe details of the agreement that are not yet public. In the third FOX News town hall of the 2024 election season (the first two were with President Trump), Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. appeared for an hour Tuesday night on Sean Hannity’s prime time program Hannity. The setting was a sizable venue in New York City with a large audience. Barack Obama was “heartbroken” over the drowning of his chef Tafari Campbell, but has said nary a word about him since he drowned on Sunday. Sasha and Malia Obama flew off to California on Tuesday and Michelle, appropriately dressed in black, played tennis on Wednesday “but only for an hour.” (snip) There has been no obituary for Tafari in any paper, no notification of a funeral -- not even in his hometown paper of Dumfries, VA. After pressing the two sides, it became clear that a wink-and-nod deal had been formulated whereby the immunity would stand, but wouldn’t be made public as part of the plea.
