Passengers aboard a flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta passed out and needed to be revived with oxygen on Monday, as Phoenix looks set to break another heat record for the 19th consecutive day.
The travelers were on board the Delta Air Lines flight at Harry Reid International Airport when they had to be taken off due to the intense heat.
Also on the flight was Fox News field producer Kirsta Garvin, who reported hearing the pilot announce they would be returning to the gate after multiple emergencies. The situation is said to have worsened and flight attendants were seen running up and down the aisles with oxygen tanks

We flew out of Las Vegas on Delta on July 13th at 9:00 PM. The plane (a 737) was ridiculously hot and we were still sweating an hour into the flight. We're still not sure why the air conditioning doesn't function when on the ground and during takeoff. The volume of air coming out of the vents is quite low.

That’s one planeload of people who will never fly again. Flying in general has become so frustrating - sometimes even inhumane
- that I find myself wondering if the horrible experiences I have to endure on nearly every flight I take, poor treatment that is shared by millions of others, are by design to get people to stop flying altogether. In any case it’s time for Pete Buttigieg to stop breastfeeding and do his job.

Delta, what the hell is wrong with your company? Other than what is wrong with Southwest? The pilots up front and your flight attendants were ready to pass out? Where's the common sense might I ask other than a feeble than an attempt to cut your losses.

Sounds to me like a huge law suit is in the making.

I would love to know why the airlines are cutting back on the AC for these flights. Is it some kind of cost cutting measure, or are they bowing to the climate cult minions? Whatever it is, they are harming passengers, and I hope some of them sue the pants off the airlines.

compound the issue with hot air doesn't compress well...not much Lift. Planes need to be lighter, go faster and a longer roll for takeoff.
Strange though, none of these outlets were running headlines 2 weeks ago...when Las Vegas was "setting Records" for the longest period in HISTORY with temps NOT reaching 100degrees, over 200 days straight.

See, toldja that global warming was dangerous. Passenger planes in the Middle East and Africa are taking off on 140+ degree days every day because it's July and they don't seem to have a problem. That's 30 degrees warmer than our panic and agenda-driven "heat dome." I hope Delta gets their pants sued off.
Your car air conditioner doesn't work very well either when you are sitting still idling. That's the way mechanics and physics works.

Heat waves just aint what they used to be. Here on the right coast growing up, we would get at least a week every year of temps reaching 100 degrees. Then in the winter, we would have 4-5 snowfalls.

Weather Channel is reporting heat is breaking records set in the '50's, the '20's, etc, etc. They miss the fact it was THAT HOT in the '50's and "20's! This is nothing new. It's summer!

#9 pardon me for being pedantic
the hottest temperature ever recorded on the planet was 134°F at Furnace Creek,iDeath Valley, Ca. in 1913.
( shouldn't it be much hotter today after over 100 years of "man made global warming?).

AIRLINE FAULT:
Taking to Twitter, she said: 'What an INSANE experience. First we were delayed because you did not have a flight attendant.
AIRLINE FAULT:
'Then we finally board and sit for almost 3 hours on a hot plane in 111 degree weather
#9 global warming remark was totally sarcastic if that was not clear. Regardless of outside temperature, the interior of a plane full of passengers sitting under the Las Vegas sun in July is going to be hotter than outside, it's essentially a sealed metal box. Sitting on the runway for 3 hours is a bad decision by the crew to attempt to hold a spot in line after a late start.

Lat time I flew, a year ago, it was so cold on the plane there was viable smoke coming from the vents.

I think that's vapor, not smoke, coming from the air vents. I've seen it many times. Doesn't smell like smoke to me.
