How Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Plans to
Limit the Power of the Supreme Court

It’s easy to take potshots at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) because the New York Democrat makes it incomprehensibly easy. It’s as if she knows her views and statements will elicit the wrath of conservative America; some are justified, while others you could brush off. It would be wise to use her as a barometer on the pulse of the Left because she has a handle on it. Her outrageous statements about almost subject are what progressive America believes. Right now, the Supreme Court, the third branch of government, has been added to the hit list.

Don't misunderestimate her. She operates simultaneously on a very low level - that is to say, her beliefs are in error; and a very high level of persuasion for those of her camp. Scott Adams has respect for her skills along these lines, and I agree with him. She's therefore exceedingly dangerous. There's no one in the interview rooms at MSNBC, for example, to call "BS" on her. She gets the narrative out to her followers, and the facts be damned. Strive against her, and answer every lie, in the hope that God will have mercy on us. Thanks!

If the Liberals had good policies you would not have to resort to trickery and unconstitutional underhanded game playing by trying to stack the court which someday could play out not in Liberals favor. Even Pelosi admitted the President did not have the authority to rid student loan debt. The court upheld the law. The Court can not legislate from the bench. The court has no such authority. About affirmative action. California got rid of that on a state level years ago. Also college acceptance should be earned through hard dedicated work not skin color. Why is it fair to discriminate against Asians and Whites and not Hispanics and Blacks? I am tired of Liberals saying conservatives are using Asians as pawns. That is insulting to Asians. They started this fight pppon their own. They do not need white conservative’s help in this fight.

At some point in this column, I have probably had occasion to quote these famous lines from Walter Scott’s poem “Marmion”: “Oh, what a tangled web we weave When first we practice to deceive.” In another, better world, I like to think, the Bidens and their protectors and puppet masters would ruefully be contemplating Scott’s admonitory observation. In this world, however, I suspect that—until quite recently, anyway—they had smugly sided with J.R. Pope’s sly amendment to Scott’s moralizing couplet: “But when we’ve practiced for a while How vastly we improve our style.”

Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was in China this week and just couldn’t seem to stop bowing to her Chinese counterpart in Beijing. The optics are absolutely terrible but Yellen didn’t seem to mind even though she had to know that multiple cameras were rolling the entire time. What an embarrassment. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen made an unusual gesture Saturday when she bowed to a Chinese official during her visit in Beijing. Footage shows Yellen approaching Vice Premier He Lifeng — her Chinese counterpart — and bowing multiple times while enthusiastically shaking his hand. Employing the euphemism “affirmative action,” President Biden’s press secretary claimed that there is a constitutional right to receive preferential treatment based on one’s race. She was discussing recent Supreme Court decisions on MSNBC with host Ari Melber, and made the extraordinary claim without citing any language in the Constitution – because of course there isn’t any to support her and, contrarily, language in the 14th Amendment that prohibits it. The bogus claim came a minute into a nearly 5 ½ minute, very friendly interview, and did not elicit any pushback from the host, or even any audible reaction to the claim.

The discovery of a stash of cocaine in the White House became public because a hazmat team was sent in on the possibility that the white powdery substance might have been anthrax or some other deadly terror weapon. Were it not for the hazmat team’s highly visible and noteworthy arrival, I believe it is quite possible that the matter would have been handled with the discretion for which the Secret Service is famous (and notorious), protecting the privacy of the First Family. Now that we know about it, there are multiple signs that a coverup is underway to protect someone whom the Secret Service guards.

Horror writer Stephen King, when not spewing far left argle-bargle (a word I learned long ago from reading one of his novels) on Twitter, may exhibit a bit of common sense. Or to innocent Americans who foolishly listen to the ruling class liars, believing in truth, justice, and the American way? Do Americans still trust elections, whether local, state, or national? An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Maine may soon allow elective abortions up until birth, pending final approval from the state’s governor. The bill — H.P. 1044, An Act to Improve Maine’s Reproductive Privacy Laws — would allow a woman to receive a late-term abortion at any point if it is determined to be “necessary” by a doctor. It’s likely the legislation will be codified. Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, introduced the bill in January alongside legislative leadership, both also Democrats: House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross and Senate President Troy Jackson. Former secret service agent Dan Bongino is claiming that the only explanation for the presence of cocaine in the White House is that President Joe Biden or his family members brought it inside. The White House is an 18-acre complex surrounded by magnetometers and checkpoints, Mr. Bongino said in a recent Rumble video, adding that there were only specific ways into the White House, and all of them go through the checkpoints. “Whether it (cocaine) was found in the Lincoln bedroom or in the diplomatic reception room, it doesn’t matter. Somebody had to bypass the security magnetometer checkpoint to get that in there.”
