The prime suspect in the 2007 disappearance of 3-year-old Madeleine McCann allegedly made a chilling claim to a friend shortly after the British toddler’s vanishing made headlines.
“She didn’t even scream,” Christian Brueckner, 45 — a German man named a suspect in the McCann case just over a year ago — allegedly told his friend Hedge B. as the two discussed the case back in 2008.
Hedge B.’s full name has not been released by investigators, but his account was crucial to pinpointing Brueckner as a suspect in the child’s disappearance.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is not pleased with her judicial colleagues’ ruling that Harvard and the University of North Carolina’s affirmative action admissions programs are unconstitutional.
“With let-them-eat-cake obliviousness, today, the majority pulls the ripcord and announces ‘colorblindness for all’ by legal fiat,” Jackson insisted in her dissent in the UNC ruling. “But deeming race irrelevant in law does not make it so in life. (snip)
Jackson’s assertion that the Students for Fair Admissions decision is “truly a tragedy for us all” is not the least bit surprising considering that her ascent to the bench reeked of race-based choosing.

On Friday’s “CNN News Central,” CNN Chief Business Correspondent Christine Romans discussed President Joe Biden’s student loan plan that was struck down by the Supreme Court and noted that the plan was really “taxpayers paying off all this student debt, but not addressing the core problem.”
Romans said, “This would have been significant relief, when you think of 44 million Americans with this student loan debt. (snip) But, from the very beginning, there was also the discussion that it didn’t do anything to address the root cause here, which is inflation in the cost of higher education,

President Joe Biden, who is reportedly “consumed” with his son Hunter’s scandals, allegedly angrily dismisses White House aides who believe Hunter Biden’s controversial history might politically hurt his father.
(snip)In recent days, White House aides reportedly tried to speak with Joe Biden about the continual drip drop of damning evidence streaming from Hunter Biden’s foreign business transactions, but NBC News sources report Joe Biden’s response was “outright angry” towards anyone who would challenge him on the subject.
Joe Biden reportedly told one aide, “Hands off my family.”(snip) “This is the reality of their family ethos,” a person close to the president allegedly said.

Presidential candidate Mike Pence made a pilgrimage to Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and affirm Pence’s position that the unilateral power of the Ukraine government needs to be supported.
Mike Pence then presents himself as the arbiter of what it means to be a republican with a Twitter message saying, “I know the difference between a genius and a war criminal, and I know who needs to win this war in Ukraine, and it’s the people fighting for their freedom and fighting to restore their national sovereignty. There is no room in our party for apologists for Putin. There is only room for champions of freedom.”

President Trump famously threatened Mexican President AMLO with 25 to 50% immediate border tariffs within a week if Mexico didn’t help secure the southern U.S. border. The result was 18,000 activated Mexican National Guards to enforce the “Remain in Mexico” policy, while the border wall was under construction.
The southern border crisis has created an opportunity for a desperate Ron DeSantis to skip the seven-minute-ab border security competition and go straight to the six-minute-ab pitch, whereby a President DeSantis will start shooting Mexicans who attempt to smuggle across the border. Appearing in a heavily coordinated and scripted interview with Rupert Murdoch’s debate moderator, Martha MacCallum, DeSantis announced

As if on cue, here comes another billionaire group by well-established political control agents in yet another multimillion effort to block President Trump. This time it’s Koch and his Americans for Prosperity network.
The Koch groups are planning to spend $70 million in their effort to eliminate the support of Donald Trump in 2024.
However, what will be interesting will be to watch how the downstream media networks attack Trump in order to get a piece of the spending allotment. That’s where knowing where the Koch money flows comes in handy.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former President Donald Trump are poised to make competing appeals to New Hampshire voters on Tuesday as the 2024 race's top two GOP contenders woo voters ahead of next year's "first in the nation" primary election. But similar to Iowa's caucusgoers, the New Hampshire electorate will test DeSantis's interpersonal skills (snip)Presidential candidates need "some degree" of retail politics skill in New Hampshire, where the state's voters take pride in vetting contenders, according to former New Hampshire Attorney General and Republican National Committee member Thomas Rath.

As I expected (A Theory Of The Prigozhin Regime Change Farce), more and more commentators are openly asking what has seemed to me to be the obvious and key question. Larry Johnson frames the question in all its baldness this morning:
WAS PRIGOZHIN’S MUTINY A WESTERN INTELLIGENCE OP DERAILED BY RUSSIA’S SPIES?
I prefer the “regime change” narrative framing, because I believe that the circumstances point in that direction—that there was much more focus and organization behind this thing than “mutiny” or “uprising” would suggest. The rhetoric and coordinated actions all point toward the goal of regime change

I will say it until people understand. Lawfare is a specially constructed approach to weaponize the judiciary to create narratives for public consumption; it is the abnormal and twisted application of granular legal language, and as a result it requires oddball motions to support it.
The DOJ previously filed a motion for “Special Conditions of Release” to restrict President Trump’s defense from knowing or discussing the super-secret evidence and witnesses the special prosecutor plans to use against him. The motion was essentially that if President Trump refused the super special terms and conditions of the motion, then Judge Cannon should put him in leg irons in federal prison until

This stuff is really so silly, and lawfare is so entirely predictable, it is difficult for me to remain serious when discussing it. This is also why serious litigation expert Eric Dublier was so funny in his Concord case briefings against the DOJ and their insufferable Lawfare efforts.
CNN gets a leak of audio from Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, presumably presenting audio of President Trump talking in Bedminster, New Jersey, about the background of Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley lying about Trump wanting to invade Iran. [VIDEO HERE] Essentially, Trump refutes Milley and has papers to back up his side of the story.

I do not know all the details of her case, trail and subsequent conviction; however, I do know Jessica Watkins and other Oath Keeper members were entrapped by a federal agent organizing activity under the username “1% Watchdog.” I am certain of this element because the J6 committee falsely accused me of being that user. (snip) I do not know Ms. Watkins or any of her allies and associates. However, the subpoena I received from the J6 Commitee, specifically identified her as one of the people they falsely claimed I was associated with. I have unredacted her name from the subpoena below in the hopes that

Interesting that aides did not want Joe to invite Hunter to state dinner along with Garland. He of course prevailed, but there is belief that Garland was warned of bad optics so stayed far away. Did we see a photo of the two together?
