Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian mercenary outfit Wagner Group, said the Russian army attacked his troops on Friday. "We were ready to make concessions to the defense ministry, surrender our weapons," Prigozhin said in an audio message released by his representatives. "Today, seeing that we have not been broken, they conducted missile strikes at our rear camps." The Wagner head said the "evil" of the Russian leadership must be stopped. "Those who destroyed our lads, who destroyed the lives of many tens of thousands of Russian soldiers, will be punished. I ask that no one other resistance," Prigozhin said. "There are 25,000 of us

Amazed to say that I like Prigozhin because there is nobody else who cares about the Russian soldiers, who are just simply doing what their country said, and are being ground up and turned to ashes and disappeared. Nobody is worried about that waste and loss except Prigozhin. Him and Almighty God.

‘Stab in the Back’: Putin Vows to
Respond Decisively to Wagner ‘Armed Rebellion’

The Wagner Group, a mercenary force led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, has taken control of parts of the southern Russian city Rostov-on-Don in a move Russian President Vladimir Putin had called “a stab in the back” to “our county and our people.” “We’re blockading the city of Rostov and going to Moscow,” Prigozhin said in a video which surfaced on Saturday. Putin has vowed “decisive actions” to quell this “armed rebellion” as units across southwestern Russia scrambled to intercept the force. A “counterterrorist operation regime” was declared in Moscow given authorities upgraded emergency powers, the New York Times reports. Local residents have been instructed to avoid driving on roads and stay home.

Barack Obama never came across an event that he couldn’t politicize; the recent implosion of the submersible Titan on a dive to explore the wreck of the Titanic—which left five people presumed dead—is no exception. As my colleague Mike Miller reported, the former president appeared on a CNN special titled “Obama & Amanpour” Thursday to blame “right-wing” media for making Americans “fearful of each other.” But he wasn’t done; he also decided to blame the media for excessive coverage of the sub accident while not devoting equal time to another tragedy, the story of a “migrant boat” that sank off the coast of Greece last week. Pretty much everyone now understands that for years, Joe Biden has been taking bribes from foreign countries and interests. Whatever influence he had in the Senate and as vice president has been peddled around the globe, often by his son Hunter. Biden’s repeated claims that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings is absurd, given that the only business Hunter was involved in was selling Joe’s influence. The most recent blow is the WhatsApp message that Scott wrote about here. In keeping with the Democrats’ determination to force Biden off the 2024 ticket, the embargo on news about his corruption is lifting.

The head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said the Kremlin's justifications for its invasion of Ukraine are based on lies, in another extraordinary attack on the country's military and political leadership. Prigozhin, a key ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a video posted Friday contradicted the public explanations for the war, including the central claim made by Putin that the 2022 invasion was necessary to prevent an attack from Ukraine. Since launching the war, Putin has painted it as a defensive operation to protect Russia. He's claimed it was needed to stop imminent large-scale attacks from Ukraine on largely Russian-speaking eastern regions in Donbas

Washington — The Supreme Court on Friday cleared the way for the Biden administration to reinstate rules that instruct Immigration and Customs Enforcement to focus its deportation efforts in the U.S. interior on immigrants with serious criminal convictions and those deemed to threaten national security. The court found that Texas and Louisiana, the two states that challenged the administration's guidelines, lacked standing to bring the suit, formally known as United States v. Texas. The ruling was 8-1, with only Justice Samuel Alito dissenting. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the opinion for the majority, joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Is this another sign that the Democrats are preparing to move on from Joe Biden in 2024? I don’t know, but CNN’s newfound willingness to fact-check Biden seems significant. Here, CNN finds that pretty much everything Biden says about firearms, among other things, is wrong: He made at least five false claims related to guns, a subject on which he has repeatedly been inaccurate during his presidency. He also made a false claim about the extent of his support from environmental groups. And he used incorrect figures about the population of Africa, his own travel history and how much renewable energy Texas uses.

Another day, another hit piece on the Supreme Court, this time with ProPublica targeting Justice Samuel Alito. A few weeks back, commenting on a substanceless media attack on Justice Clarence Thomas, law professor Josh Blackman commented, “Wait for the next empty shoe to drop.” Well, here it is. And honestly it’s not much of a shoe. Nor even a flipflop. Since the Supreme Court shifted right, media coverage has, well, flip-flopped from hagiography to hit pieces fast enough to make your head spin. When the court was reliably liberal, things like Justice Hugo Black’s fomer Klan membership, or William O. Douglas’ history of sexual misbehavior and shady connections

Based on the latest Census Bureau data, FAIR researchers found that there are at least 16.8 million illegal aliens now living in American communities — an increase of 2.3 million illegal aliens since Biden took office in January 2021 and an increase of 1.3 million

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday said he does not believe it will “ultimately matter” when asked if he would personally support former President Donald Trump if he emerges as the Republican nominee in 2024, using the opportunity to criticize the GOP frontrunner. A reporter asked DeSantis about Trump’s attacks against him, inquiring, “Regardless of his attacks, will you 100 percent pledge to support Trump as a GOP nominee?” DeSantis, however, initially refused to overtly state if he would personally support Trump. Rather, he first criticized Trump’s line of attack, particularly on DeSantis’s handling of the coronavirus, only later adding that the process — people’s final decision

FIRST ON FOX: House Republicans are seeking to formally expunge the impeachments of former President Donald Trump, Fox News Digital has learned. House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., introduced resolutions Thursday to expunge Trump’s first impeachment from December 2019 and his second from January 2021. Those resolutions would expunge what the lawmakers are calling "unconstitutional" impeachments and make it legally as if the articles "had never passed the full House of Representatives." "The American people know Democrats weaponized the power of impeachment against President Donald Trump to advance their own extreme political agenda," Stefanik told Fox News Digital.

Barack Obama has used a stolen social security number most of his adult life. The one he uses was issued on March 28, 1977 to someone living in Connecticut, born in 1890 and is now long deceased. Obama was fifteen years old that day, living in Hawaii and playing on the junior varsity basketball team at Punahou. I uncovered the SSN information and include it in my memoir The Rubbish Hauler’s Wife versus Barack Obama. Obama violated federal law by using a phony number. The media, government bureaucrats and other Democrats have spread a massive number of lies to the public for years through many election cycles. All are meant to mislead the public and influence or interfere in elections, but now Obama wants more government control to determine what the truth is. This, from a former president who has a long record of lying. "Obama suggests digital fingerprints to counter misinformation, so we know what is true or not true. Former President Barack Obama suggested in a new interview the development of 'digital fingerprints' to combat misinformation and distinguish between true and misleading news for consumers." The US Navy revealed that they knew the Titan submersible, which was diving to see the remains of the Titanic wreck, imploded on Sunday. We have sonar detection and acoustic networks for our national defense, and this classified system picked up the moment when this craft and the five people inside it perished. So, why did we waste an inordinate amount of time rushing to rescue people some in the government knew to be dead? The Coast Guard, Canadian military units, and unmanned submersibles from France that can go to these extreme depths joined the rescue effort that covered at least 10,000 square miles. CNN’s Christiane Amanpour recently interviewed former President Barack Obama for an hour-long special that aired Thursday night that carried the pretentious subtitle Will Democracy Win? CNN was not subtle in trying to portray Republicans as a threat to democracy, beyond the subtitle, the opening narrator hyped the location of the interview, “An in depth conversation on the state of American democracy from the birthplace of democracy, Athens, Greece.” Early on in the interview, Obama described U.S. institutions as “creaky” from the strain of allegedly anti-democratic sentiment. Amanpour took that idea and ran with it, “So, let's ask about the creaky or not institutions in the United States.
