The US Navy revealed that they knew the Titan submersible, which was diving to see the remains of the Titanic wreck, imploded on Sunday. We have sonar detection and acoustic networks for our national defense, and this classified system picked up the moment when this craft and the five people inside it perished. So, why did we waste an inordinate amount of time rushing to rescue people some in the government knew to be dead? The Coast Guard, Canadian military units, and unmanned submersibles from France that can go to these extreme depths joined the rescue effort that covered at least 10,000 square miles. Let’s recap the official story

A waste of time, money, resources and put other people's lives in possible jeopardy. Plus prolonged the families pain (but I assume they realized they were dead). Disgusting. It was like looking for FJB brain. They were gone just like his brain is gone. (If you ever watched the movie The Abyss there is the scene where the "bad guy's" submersible's window cracks and then explodes. I assume it was like that. Quick.) Condolences to family and friends. The countdown of the oxygen supply was ghoulish but I understand why they did it. However, it was all a lie. Something this administration is very good at. I trust nothing these leaches tell us.

Well, the U.S. Media detected the sounds of the implosion of Joe Biden’s mind in 2020 and STILL hasn’t informed the American public.

Okay, the powers-that-be-in-charge were pretty certain that the tin can went pop Sunday afternoon. I understand making an effort to find the occupants on the very, very slight chance that they could be alive.
But if the family and friends of these who died were strung along for four days just so Sleepy Creepy Crooked Uncle Joe didn't get some bad press, well, that's cruel and crass. And expected from this crowd and their lapdogs in the media.

The waste of time, labor, currency and 4 days of media hyperventilating aside....... I'm amazed that we have the technology and do monitor the ocean they way that we do.
Without knowing that the craft had imploded, I was fairly certain that it either had or the air would have run out before anyone go there. The chances of a rescue, assuming an intact vessel with max 72 hours of air is practically nill.

I guess we can expect these other countries to sue the U.S. for the wasted expense of their manpower and equipment.

I was just telling the grandson that I predicted we would now have a rash of conspiracy theories about this tragedy.
The Navy heard a sound "consistent" was an implosion. Presumably, the Titan was the only thing in the neighborhood that could implode.
So the Navy was supposed to call off a search for five lives based on a "we think it sounded like that" and a "we think it was the only thing around that would make that noise"? Wouldn't they have looked silly if they had called off the search on Sunday and an intact Titan was found on Monday?
Right now, even with a debris field, the Navy id still reluctant to say it was the Titan. Presumptions are not proof.
And all this because Miranda Devine had a "theory" that is so solid she posted it on Twitter, rather than publishing an article at the newspaper she writes for. Social media will be the end of us all.

I wonder if we'll ever get a statement letting the taxpayers know how much this distraction cost them. I'll also add that this was also a PR move for the Navy and Coast Guard. It was a look at us and what we'll do to rescue five civilians. It was a five day recruiting commercial for the military.

80 years ago we had, or were working on, ocean sonar and triangulation devices to detect German subs. Since episode began, I suspected the prolonged search may have been a shiny object.

Sosus (Sound Surveillance System) has been around a long time, Tom Clancy wrote about extensively in many of his books including The Hunt for Red October. The system is still classified, I believe, but to withhold the fact that these people were dead immediately was cruel.

I think we are kind of stuck with " social media " # 8 , we sure as hell can't get the truth from the mainstream media . We just have to take an objective look as possible , after all the press tells us that Trump was a Russian operative ,Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian propaganda , Covid began in a Chinese market , Covid vaccines are safe , climate change is going to kill us , Corn Pop is completely competent and gathered 81 million votes and the Russians hacked Hillary's bathroom server at a download speed that was impossible. Spin the dial and pick your TRUTH just about sums it up today.

I don't believe its been a waste at all. Despite all the training, drills, and exercises with multiple countries and resources, a real-time life and death situation is the most thorough shake-out to find what worked, what didn't, and what can be done better next time. My sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased, and my pride of everyone involved with the search and rescue.

Why such a big area "rescue effort that covered at least 10,000 square miles" ? That is over 300 miles X 300 miles. There is no way that sub could get that far.

The delay was cruelly & ghoulishly done to simply deflect from the news stories of the bidet (because they are ALL douches) crime family & the HORRIBLE DEAL "our" doj made for the son.
They (the father, son, fbi, doj, etc.) should ALL be in jail for THAT travesty.

joe needed a diversion.
Delaying the announcement of the demise of all the sub's passengers kept joe and hunter off the front pages.
This gov't thinks of truth as expendable, looks down on us with derision.

I know #14, and agree.
I just wish people (especially at a site like this one) would think a little more before they post by asking themselves a few questions, such as:
"Will my post assist in digging out the truth, or is it just the ramblings of some with a case of the "yaws", saying something I would never say in person, in polite company?
"Am I really as humorous as I think I am?
"Has some variation of my comment already been posted at least 200 times?
"Am I really saying, 'see how smart I am'?
"How drunk am I, really?"
And (sigh), I know our fingers do get moving before our brains slip into gear.

Joey Baby used the imploded submersible to cover for his misdeeds. We know. He knows we know. But JB doesn't care. He's assured that Lady Justice is no more. Savaged and pillaged to the core.

I initially thought the reason would be military. They didn’t want to let on how quickly or well our submarine detection system works. But I guess I am mentally stuck in times when our government was reliable and honest.

People can not be blamed for instantly conjuring conspiracy theories where this sham government has been concerned. Everything they have done since January of 2020 has either been a lie, a coverup, a stupid accident or an amateurish disaster. Many things cause noises underwater so the Navy wanted evidence before making a positive ID. The debris field consisting of pieces of the Titan was positive ID.

Candace Owen has a video short out right now that gives an excellent illustration of exactly what the experts think happened to the sub. It was horrific to watch and not for the faint of heart. The fact that our own Swamp knew this happened days before, just illustrates how craven and callous Biden and company truly are when it comes to relieving suffering of grieving families. Anything can be used for diversion right now, and democrats have no problem exploiting the grief of those families who lost their loved ones.
RIP to those poor souls who lost their lives, and I have no sympathy for the CEO as he died doing what he loved most. Grifting and conning money from people.

All the photos I've seen of the sub looked like those silly Netti pots seen on TV during cold and flu season. The fact that the entire crew died, probably knowing it and feeling it while it happened puts to silence all non-submariners and their own lack of ambition to plumb ocean depths. Rest in peace all those who perished. May families and friends find peace in knowing these passengers were doing their bucket lists.
