A couple of days ago, we posted a satirical piece, call it a sati-torial, with a list of headlines we’re never going to see. One of them said “Democrats Realize They’ve Been Using The Word ‘Fascist’ Wrong For Decades.” There’s a lot of truth in there. The way the political left tosses around that word shows that they have no idea what it means.
Or maybe they do. And they’re intentionally applying it wrongly because they’re driven by their depravity.
Either way, we’ve been hearing it for decades. And its use has accelerated in recent years along with the irresponsible usage of “white supremacy” and “white privilege.”

Since real history, proper English, how to speak and grammar are no longer taught in government schools, it's no wonder the left dies not know the meaning or proper use of words.

You can't fix stupid. It is impossible to reason someone out of a position into which they weren't reasoned. The leaders of the Left are evil, ruthless tyrants, but their rank and file followers are self-absorbed, whiny little brats; with their fingers in their ears singing la-la-la-la. Their use of the term 'fascism' is like that of 'racism' used by many blacks: as a force field repelling reason and truth.

The popular narrative would have us believe that fascism and socialism are at odds with one another if not polar opposites representing the endpoints of the political continuum. You'll hear the argument that fascists and socialists or communists fought against each other so they must be incompatible, as though the kings of England and France couldn't both desire familial monarchy since they fought over the same spoils to determine which branch of the family got the big chunks.
Fascists simply took a different road the same destination. They subverted the societal institutions got themselves "elected", attained control and power while maintaining the illusion of private ownership.

The left redefines words. The original definition of left and right was: left meant the government controls all the capital, the right allows individuals to have the right to accumulate and control their own capital.
The communists call everything not communist enough for them "right wing" and this started in the 1920's. The NAZI party aspired a socialist agenda so they were in fact very left wing. But there were many parties in Germany vying for power in that era. One was the communist party. They called their opponents right wing. It stuck to this day. Now Nazi's are "right wing".
When the hard line communist Soviet's tried to hold on to power in 1990 the media referred to them as "right wing" even though they were exactly left wing. The Nazi's had brown shirts. Radical youth that attacked those they thought opposed the Nazi's. The Democrats have BLM and Antifa.
Yet the media, totally confused about Nazi's, call MAGA Nazi's. Has MAGA even so much as broken a store window?
Today the term Nazi is used against those who are exactly the opposite by those who exactly fit the definition.

Though I don't agree with his apparent hatred of all things Trump, Jonah Goldberg wrote an excellent book on Fascism, 'Liberal Fascism'.

I hear people say its Fascism to move LGBTQIA+ books in the library from the children's shelf to the young adults shelf. Pretty much any pushback on the Left's radical agenda is labeled as Fascist. In reality, if we were going the way of 1930s Germany the books would be a smoking pile of rubble.

This sounds like what Democrat/Marxist/Progressive/Leftists want:
Fascism is a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition. Merriam/Webster

FTA: “ They don’t make law by fiat, using a ‘pen and phone’ to bypass the constitutional process when it gets in their way.”
I think that was a goof; they (Fascists) absolutely do that!

This has been going on so long that Orwell commented on it. "The word fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies 'something not desirable'."

The Leftists -that is, the Communists- in today's America have no idea what 'Fascist' means.
It is just a slur that they use -it's in the way that they say it, as much as the word itself- against anyone who does not agree with them.
That, and 'Racist' are the two most prominent tools in their Bullying toolbox.

I want to know the definition of "Semi-fascist." Is that where you're only a fascist every other day?

The reason we hear citations of communists, fascists, and socialists fighting each other is not because of ideological differences. It is simply to establish who's going to rule. There's only room for one at the top.

Yes, I have said this many times. Ignorant fools ASSUME that "fascism" means.....'meanies'.
And you know that ASSUME, means making and ass out of....etc.
In any case, fascism is a government where the government directs industry, orders what is done economically, but stops short of actually owning and taking possession of business....a baby step short of pure Commuism, but a close cousin.

Democratic Socialist = National Socialist
DEMZI = NAZI
Fascist's aren't all racist unless their leaders are. Whatever the leaders are is what everyone must be. Show your papers has become let's look at your files.
