As Donald Trump ramps up his attacks on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a strange trend is emerging. Most of his attacks are coming from the left. In his speeches, posts on Truth Social, and comments to the press, Trump has been shouting things like: DeSantis wants to cut Social Security and Medicare! DeSantis did a worse job on COVID than New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo! DeSantis’ attack on Disney “is all so unnecessary, a political STUNT!” In one recent post, Trump said that “I strongly defended and backed Ethanol, Ron ‘DeSaster’ has ALWAYS been strongly against Ethanol,

Probably because until he ran for president, he was a New York liberal democrat. The GOP has been paying for it since the 2018 midterms. The fools that think you can burn down the establishment forget that all politics is local.

Trump is up by 31 points over DeSantis. Maybe Trump is trying to gain the approval of white suburban college educated women by making those comments. The women the media said would vote for Biteme because Trump was too mean in his tweets. I like Trump. I think he did a good job as president and if he were elected again, he would get this country back on track. However, there are times when keeping your mouth shut is the best move. Of course, we've heard that comment about Trump for years. His mouth can at times be his own worst enemy.

I realize Lucianne.com is not a Conservative site, but it is becoming obvious that it is now more to the Left than I have ever seen. Your posts prove that. Anyway, I use GAB more than here so it is ok by me. We all have our reasons for what we believe in. Have a blessed day folks.

Of course he sounds like a liberal Democrat. That is precisely who he was for 68 years of his life. And not just a liberal…..a New York liberal. He governed like a fiscal conservative and we all benefitted. I think to his advantage he knows how to fight liberals because he plays by the same rules. He mocks, he exaggerates, he is in your face he belittles and he defines “mean. These are perilous time and he is exactly who this nation needs at this time. He is a school yard bully who is going after the wrong kids in the schoolyard. He needs to set his sights on Biden.

I have never agreed with Trump on all issues, but he was building The Wall, and working on pushing out China via tariffs, while he lowered taxes. Those three by themselves guarantee that I'll vote for him again.

Can you substantiate that claim, #7? I am a suburban woman, as are most women I know. I’m also a registered independent, and I don’t “HATE” Trump. In fact, I intend to vote for him as do my suburban women friends. Trump is healthier and more robust in his last 70s than most 40 yr olds I know. His “legal problems” only seem to make him more popular, due to the fact that the majority of people can see exactly what is going on. As far as having no path to electoral victory, the same holds true for every Republican candidate for POTUS, due to massive vote fraud. So, what else ya got?

Massive demonrat turnout inspired by President Trump is actually massive voter fraud. It never ceases to amaze me just how many are gullible enough to believe coarse, corrupt, clownboy bidet got 81 million LEGAL votes in 2020. The most by any presidential candidate in the history of our country. He was on full display in Washington DC for almost 50 years prior, ran an absolutely abysmal campaign for president in 1988, when he was laughed off the national stage for plagiarism. He was a clown as VP with hussein the traitor. He's a snide, condescending, **ick, and relishes in his ability to bully and mock pretty much anyone he chooses, particularly when he's flashing that loathsome smirk. AND, the senile 'ol coot is a pedophile who took showers with his daughter! Yeah, that's 81 million vote territory. SMDH No one other than an approved swamp rat will win any given election, installed would be more accurate, until the voter fraud is stopped!!

My main worry is Trump losing again due to the same voting rules such as all mail in ballot harvesting, and vote counting going on for days, plus he will still have the Trump haters who will never vote for him no matter what he says. Do we want to see him lose again? He is turning off people now, not adding more voters. I agree with #4 that we dodged a bullet when he beat Hag Hillary. I also agree with others who say any other candidate, who is our nominee, will likely lose too, but maybe new blood will give someone other than trump or Biden a chance at governing.

The Durham Report, which faulted the FBI for meddling in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections by conducting a seriously flawed investigation of alleged “collusion” between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia, shocked many Americans. Now, disappointed and angry with apparent politicization of the FBI, Americans strongly support sweeping changes at the nation’s top law enforcement agency, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. “As the more complete record now shows, there are specific areas of Crossfire Hurricane (the FBI’s covert

The Debt-Ceiling ‘Crisis’ Might Be

Late Wednesday, the House passed an agreement to raise the debt ceiling in exchange for a few micro changes in spending. But despite all the (wildly exaggerated) warnings about a default, complaints from both sides about the terms of the deal, and what no doubt will be celebrations in the White House for getting a deal done – this fight has always been a sideshow. It’s the debt itself that poses the real and immediate crisis. And this debt ceiling bill does absolutely nothing to address that. In other words, it’s business as usual in Washington, and anyone celebrating this agreement should be run out of town on a rail.

Policymakers inside the Biden administration have repeatedly assured Americans that electric vehicles (EVs) are an unavoidable and essential part of the “net-zero” carbon emissions world that they’re trying to regulate into existence. But despite hefty subsidies and future bans of gasoline-powered cars, Americans aren’t ready to jump on the EV bandwagon, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. For our most recent online public opinion poll of 1,412 drivers, taken from May 3-5, we asked a straightforward question of consumer intent: “How likely will you consider buying/leasing an electric vehicle for your next car?”

The debt ceiling deal reached by the Republican leadership and the administration is far from perfect in the eyes of anyone who cares about runaway government spending (which is the only government spending we know of). But it appears House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was able to block, at least for a year, the hiring of a field army of IRS soldiers. Like a thousand lawyers at the bottom of the ocean, it’s a good start, though there’s still a long way to go. Among the hundreds of sections in the 99-page bill, No. 251 is “Rescission of certain balances made available to the Internal Revenue Service.” More specifically, the legislation,

Sen. Bernie Sanders is still promoting Medicare for All to “solve” several problems with the current health care system. What are those problems? Cost and access are the top two. Advocates for socialized medicine schemes like Medicare for All get both wrong. The U.S Doesn’t Spend ‘Too Much’ on Health Care Typical framing of the cost issue shows U.S. healthcare spending relative to gross domestic product (GDP). But, health care spending should be divided by household disposable income, which is the amount of income available to spend after taxes. The U.S. ranks no. 1

Over the weekend, President Joe Biden claimed that some Republicans are hoping that the talks over raising the debt ceiling fail and the government defaults on its debt. “I think there are some MAGA Republicans in the House who know the damage that it would do to the economy, and because I am president, and the president’s responsible for everything, Biden would take the blame,” he said. It’s safe to say that at no time in human history have more people been better fed than are in our current era. So of course the left has to make sure that doesn’t continue. Just for the record, this is far worse than Watergate. And that ended Richard Nixon’s presidency, even though he neither planned nor approved of the break-ins against the Democratic Party offices in the famed Watergate Hotel. The most obvious response to school shootings is to allow teachers and other employees who are licensed to carry firearms to do so. Would-be mass murderers are drawn to schools largely because they are usually “gun-free zones,” which means the shooter’s gun will be the only one on the scene. But some have questioned whether many teachers would actually be willing to arm themselves, so as to make this a practical solution. The Rand Corporation conducted a nationwide survey of nearly 1,000 teachers, which is reported on by Catrin Wigfall. Most teachers are liberals these days–no surprise, given the far-left orientation of universities’ education programs and the teachers’ unions.
