Former President Donald Trump is slated to speak at the Georgia Republican Party state convention in Columbus Saturday afternoon, his first public appearance since being indicted on 38 federal counts. He announced the indictment on Thursday, contending he is “an innocent man” before President Joe Biden’s Justice Department unsealed the 49-page document Friday afternoon. It marks the second indictment against the 45th president since April, when left-wing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office announced a grand jury returned an indictment on charges it pursued in a case alleging Trump falsified business records.

I love Trump! He is the most honest hardworking President I have had the pleasure of voting for! Name 1 President who ever did what they said they were going to do? Name 1 that hasn't stolen your credit card to fund their Private LLC? Name 1 that doesn't wave the American Flag every election and then legislate against the people and principles for which it stands? I can name only 1 and that's America 1st., Trump/MAGA!

In 1789, James Madison and the framers of the U.S. Constitution, having declared independence and fought a war against the tyranny of the British monarchy, were now challenged by a weak, ineffectual national government that threatened the viability of a nascent nation. In response, they architected a new Constitution that established a tripartite government comprised of the executive (the President), legislative (Congress), and judiciary branches — each with separate, yet countervailing powers. This separation of powers with its checks and balances is the foundational cornerstone of our constitutional system of government. It is, as explained by Madison, “essential to the preservation of liberty” by guarding against the

He noted how the FBI lawyer made a false claim to the FISA court to get a warrant to surveil a Trump team member. Ratcliffe said the same kind of thing was happening in this indictment.
