Psaki: Republicans Are ‘Comfortable’

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that the Republican base is “comfortable” with President Joe Biden because he is an older white man. Anchor Joy Reid said, “I do feel like Biden has this misunderestimated thing where people assume, ‘Oh, he’s too old. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.’ And then he keeps delivering. Today, he tripped over, I guess there was a sandbag, and Twitter and the right are going crazy. It’s the most important thing in the world. First of all, Donald Trump is 76, he’s not exactly young. And you know, it’s the advance team or whoever’s fault that they

Assumption is, everybody’s stupid. Not necessarily wrong. In the case of the Democrats, the person embodying the office doesn’t count— it’s the policies they execute. That’s not, however, how representative government is supposed to work. The elected leader’s supposed to lead; not be the mouthpiece in an arrangement, for example, where another uses them as a stand-in or front-man or front-woman and they had an earpiece in and the real executive was just in a basement in their sweats looking through the stuff and the hidden executive could sort of deliver the lines while someone (else) was doing all the talking and ceremony. That’s subterfuge and it’s evil. Up until recently.

Good ol' Jen 'Hacky' Psaki. Often in error, never in doubt. As Foghorn [or was it Leghorn?] would say, "That girl's as sharp as a bowling ball!" I always remember her as WH Director of Communications under King Barack I. She would step out to the podium, mention some horrible atrocity taking place somewhere on the globe, and ALWAYS with that vacuous grin on her face. So strange and off-putting. Her and State Dept Spokeshuman Marie Harf were always in competition for the most brainless pronouncement of the week.

The Republican debate took a bizarre turn Wednesday as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Vice President Mike Pence traded comments about "sleeping" with teachers. The comments were made during a segment that focused on education policy in the United States, with Christie criticizing teachers unions for controlling public education. "The public school system is no longer run by the public. It is run by the teachers unions," Christie said. "They're taking the worst of their members and defending them rather than advocating for our kids. And when you have the president of the United States sleeping with a member of the teachers union,

The second GOP presidential primary debate Wednesday night was a case study in why the Republican Party shouldn’t award debate moderation privileges to hostile and dishonest members of the liberal media. While Fox Business Network occupied two of the moderator positions (Stuart Varney and Dana Perino), the third was given to Univision anchor Ilia Calderón. Her questions were by far the most anti-American and dishonest; ranging from lies about gun violence being “unique” to America to blaming America for the drug trafficking at the southern border, and more.

Donald Trump mocked his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination on Wednesday, saying none of them were worthy of being his running mate. Trump, who skipped the second GOP presidential primary debate to speak to union workers in Michigan, made a brief reference to the 'job candidates' that are competing with him for the top slot on the Republican ticket. Most of his remarks focused on President Joe Biden but he did refer to the 'the job candidates' who were preparing to take the debate stage halfway across the country in California.

Ron DeSantis is the only viable proven conservative candidate to replace him and yet Trump and many Republican voters are foolishly determined to permanently destroy DeSantis and render him unelectable.
