Elon Musk says AOC ‘not that smart’

Elon Musk reignited his long-running feud with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by calling her “not that smart” after the progressive lawmaker claimed New York City’s migrant crisis paled in comparison to the number of people who came to the US through Ellis Island more than a century ago. “The numbers — when it comes to people coming to New York City today — are nothing, I’m telling you, nothing, compared to the daily amounts of people that we saw coming in through Ellis Island in the first half of [last] century,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the video posted to her Instagram account on Friday.

Not that smart? She's outright ignorant, as usual, and the hypocrisy is staggering. The numbers may be right but Ellis Island was for those trying to enter the country by legal means and where immigrants were processed and it was determined whether they were fit to enter the country. They needed to be in good health and have someone already legally living here to vouch for them and a place to stay and a job opportunity. Those immigrants may have had to live in tenements but they didn't have to live on the streets.

It's exactly like Ellis Island. There is the same orderly entry. The authorities are given their identification. The declare area where they are going. The are given the names and addresses of their sponsors, those who guarantee that the immigrants will not rely on society to provide for them. Then, after they pass a thorough health check, they can go to the city of their choice with the funds that they brought with them. If they do not pass the health check, they go back to the boat and go back home. Yes, just like Ellis Island.

AOC was the spokesperson for The Green New Deal. One interesting proposal that the Greenies made is to eliminate all airplanes. That would eliminate all airports, airlines, the Air Force, etc. If the war on fossil fuels is won by the greenies this will really change the USA. If all cars are EVs it would take months to go from the East to the West coast; every 500 miles you'd have to stop for a day to recharge your toy. Some libs claim AOC is smart because she has degrees. So do thermometers. Although she aging she is still kind of cute. If she looked like Hillary she never get any ink. She reminds me of a girl I knew who snuck into the USA from Cuba who said the hardest thing about America is you have to carry money whereas everything in Cuba was free.

Ellis Island immigrants supported themselves (or relatives did) and they never went on welfare, nor did they demand money from anyone else, nor did they steal things and commit crimes. AOC is a blithering idiot. Has she no shame?

From 1892 to 1954, nearly 12 million immigrants arriving at the Port of New York and New Jersey were processed there under federal law. That is a 62 year period for 12 million to enter the US. Biden has allowed (and encouraged) 7.5 million to illegally enter the US in just 33 months. Not exactly the same situation. AOC is a liar and yes Elon she is not very smart.

Unfortunately, the Little Bartender That Could left off the part of the story in which the US government shut down immigration completely in the 1920s, due to the government’s inability to process so many people. It remained shut down until the mid-60s, by none other than Teddy “Splash” Kennedy.
