Several times Trump has said that if he is elected, he will end the Ukraine war in 24 hours. The only way he can do something like that is to cut off arms supplies to Ukraine, and thus give Putin a victory and continue his dictatorship. This makes me very nervous.

All well and good. Truly hope he succeeds. What's he going to do when his enemies, our nation's enemies, try shutting down the nation again? What's he going to do to boost the economy? What's he going to do to cut spending? The federal government is over 30 trillion in debt. Total US debt is over 96 trillion. Where do you think all the inflation is coming from? It's not getting better. A second Trump term has to be better than the first. We cannot have a repeat.

GustoGrabber-We need the next president to be more than just very conservative. We need him to be deeply committed to fighting the deep state and draining the swamp. Only Trump has a strong enough desire to do that: revenge. Vengeance is the only motive that will be strong enough to fuel that fight. Therefore, we must have Trump now, followed by a committed ideological conservative like DeSantis 4 years later. Now we need Trump to exact revenge against the deep state swamp. The swamp understands this, which is why they are fighting so hard to keep Trump out. That's why they imprison his supporters, i.e., J6, Navarro, Bannon, Stone etc. We cannot abandon them.

#2, I can’t speak for anyone but myself but I am sick and tired of doing the hard work that the people of these countries that we “help” will not do. Are they yearning to be free? I don’t see such a massive movement in Russia for regime change and therefore, I think we should let them get on with being Russians. Our best defense of freedom is to live free and prosperous lives where people can live out their dreams and aspirations. I am just tired of sending our best to do the hard lifting. Therefore, personally I am against telling Russia how to run their country. Having said that, I do believe we need to curb China’s expansionist bent, but we can do that without inching toward war. Trump knows how to deal with China and Xi knows that too. Ukraine has made its bed with leaders who are totally corrupt and I just do not want to focus on that country when there are many more existential threats right here at home. Trump has a handle on Ukraine. He understands what is going on there and knows that war is not the answer. Good for him. Seems to me he has the will and determination to avoid getting pulled into these conflicts that cost us so much in terms of human life and treasure. It’s like every other recent war, we are the ones out there doing the majority of the fighting while our allies stand on the sidelines yelling, go get ‘em. We would all be better off trying a different strategy. Do not get me wrong, threaten us and I am all for bringing out the real shock and awe, but no more of this playing war. You fight to win or don’t fight at all. This philosophy would have ended all the wars we have fought since WWII much sooner and saved millions of lives. Eisenhower was so right. For far too long we have just fed the military-industrial complex and it has a voracious appetite for blood and money. No more.

How, you ask? Cutting off billions of dollars in free weaponry to corrupt Ukraine cuts spending immediately. Cutting off illegal immigration cuts spending immediately. Deporting those that are already here cuts spending immediately. Stopping the plague of false green science cuts spending immediately and stops killing whales for you environmentalists. Resuming the extraction of fossil fuels and reopening pipelines will bring the price of gasoline back to $2.60. If you need more examples, hundreds can be found. Find it in yourself to ignore the silly late-night tweets and we exit the path to communism and return to following the Constitution. Can't you remember 2016-2020? MAGA

Unless and until Trump improves his personnel skills, he’s not going to get anything done, full stop. Have you forgotten he chose Wray? Sessions? Backed Fauci? And then snipes at his few good choices until they rebel or quit. I feel for the guy - he got a raw deal - but I see no reason to believe he would do any better in a second term. To the contrary, his stupid, vicious attacks on the best governor in America have me seriously questioning whether Trump has indeed gotten worse in the judgment department.

Let's face it the Democrat party is no longer an American entity and has no interest in America continuing to be a constitutional republic. God only knows what their real intent is but we certainly know who is behind it. This cabal will stop at nothing to destroy America. We have seen how they have destroyed the opposition and have succeeded in crushing free speech and are actively trying to dismantle the rest of the bill of rights. They have created a false reality that all of the left embraces but especially the extreme left. They are actively creating a warped, dystopian society with no moral rudder and patriotic Americans will be persecuted. To this end they will do what ever it takes to stop Trump including murder. They have run out of other means to remove him and it's going to be difficult to rig another election. I'm really afraid that they will kill him before 2024 and will then pull out on the stops on their treachery to prevent a major revolt. I wish I was wrong but this is America in 2023.

IDK. I'm really liking Casey DeSantis. She's sharp and she shows more self confidence than Melania, and she'll pick up the Hispanic votes, in spades, for Ron. I love DeSantis' background all the way down to his participation in the Little League World Series. Melania couldn't be bothered to be on the campaign trail and it shows. The Barron excuse is a poor one. Trump and his name calling is so NY street rat. If DJT wants a CHANCE he has to get rid of staffers from both coasts and hire from the middle of the country. I don't care how square they are in his mind. Trump has to get out of that rich New Yorker/Palm Beach bubble and get down to earth with the middle of the country folks. Then he can win. Yes, the businessman got a lot of things done in 4 years, but not having the cajones to fire Fauci is still on my mind and will be on election day. He also did not cut any spending while in office. I'm going with DeSantis. We need a military man in the office again.

Bureaucrats in President Joe Biden’s Department of Education just put their thumb on the scale of a book dispute in Georgia by not only smearing parents’ concerns about sexually explicit books in schools but also leveraging their federal power to intimidate districts that have successfully purged porn from campuses. In the Biden administration’s latest attempt to weaponize an arm of the federal government against parents, the DOE’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) wrote a letter to Forsyth County Schools Superintendent Jeff Bearden on May 19 outlining everything it deemed wrong with the district’s decision to pull several inappropriate books from school bookshelves.

The FBI was a bad idea from its start in the days of J. Edgar Hoover. The agency began in an atmosphere of blackmail. Now resembling police forces in totalitarian countries, the FBI has become an instrument of oppression of the people it was allegedly meant to protect and serve. Reports that the bureau has been infiltrating almost all right-of-center organizations are myriad. In our elections, it hasn’t just put its finger on the scale; It has placed its full arm, elbow first. Just as it’s said that Xi Jinping’s China is “Communism with Chinese characteristics,” it can be said that the FBI is the “STASI or KGB with American characteristics”

Kevin McCarthy and Joe Biden brought the nation together with their compromise on raising the national credit limit. Just about everyone hates it. The left is upset because there will be $136 billion in spending cuts in the next two years. The right is upset because that is only 1.7% of the money that will be spent. Right now, for every dollar Washington takes in taxes, it spends two. Republicans agreed to suspend the limit — allow the government to borrow whatever the deep state wants — until after the 2024 election. NYT said, “In exchange for suspending the limit, Republicans demanded a range of policy concessions from Mr. Biden.
