Some conservatives have suggested a boycott of Chick-fil-A after the fast-food chain was discovered to have a vice president of “diversity, equity, [and] inclusion,” or DEI.
In a previously issued Chick-fil-A news release, the company said that Erick McReynolds serves as its vice president of DEI, saying: “Chick-fil-A restaurants have long been recognized as a place where people know they will be treated well. Modeling care for others starts in the restaurant, and we are committed to ensuring mutual respect, understanding, and dignity everywhere we do business.”
DEI is a set of principles that large corporations, government agencies, and schools have increasingly incorporated into their work environments, often mandating employees receive

I think some outside investment or finance firm has suggested this DEI crap to Chick-fil-A for future business adventures or expansion.

I will never buy anything at Chick Fil A, not until the CEO is frog marched off the property. He spends his time on politics, not business.

These big corporate companies have to know the American consumer are against this ESG nonsense, yet they go forward with it anyway. Who or what is forcing them to do this? Or, are they really this out of touch with the American people? If so, how did they become so successful in the first place?

Bear in mind not all CFAs are corporate stores. I won't punish the independent owners who have no say in this.

DEI is a hateful, mean, racist structure of bad moves, primarily to harm white people and advantage non-whites.
THAT is your "systemic racism", and it is always evil.

Haven't any of these companies actually thought out and through their political philosophies and views on how to treat their workers and fellow man? Chick ought to have a moral response to CRT and the likes of blm etc, (and the reparations push), which are used to cause strife, distrust, and hatred. How about that, Chick, how about hatred? Jesus said if you hate someone it's the same as murder. Could Chick make plain how an atmosphere of hatred, anger, vengeance, turning one sector against the other, stirred up by red hot craving for revenge is the opposite of how they, their Company, strive to live and treat one another?
They showed their soft underbelly when they bowed to blm. Same with the Salv Army, when they seemed to accept the lie about "white supremacy" when the vast majority of donors are White (and I hate even using this terminology).
It all begins to sound like playground antics with bullies and crybabies.
Stand up straight and speak the truth.

It’s “DIE” not “DEI”. As in “DIE whitey”.
They just played with the name. It’s an open joke among those involved in the process.

Every chik-fil-A I have been to, and it is a significant number was staffed by nice, smiling people who seemed genuinely interested in getting you the correct food, quickly and easily. Most were very friendly and smiling.
Some were black - but also very friendly and smiling.

Sadly, since the founder of CFA died, the people running it have made several "unforced errors". I used to eat at CFA twice a week. Now it's more like twice a year.
I used to go there so often to show my support for them being such a good Christian values restaurant chain. But after a few of their earlier "woke" moments, I just don't feel the need to go out of my way. Popeye's is closer, and I actually like their spicy chicken sandwich even better -- and it's cheaper on top of that.
I still think they are better than most companies out there. But wokeness is a slippery slope, and at the rate they have been going the last few years, what they once were will soon be a distant memory!!!

DEI is the “Social” in Environment, Social, Governance (ESG). The entire ESG framework is a way to control corporations, by controlling who buys their stock.

Chick-fil-A is apparently a slow learner; having gathered NO information from their most recent boycott. If they are now trying to be ''Of the World,'' they may as well get beer and wine licenses! Did Truett Cathey die in vain?

Chick-fil-a was founded on strong Christian values which were manifested by their being closed on Sundays. Truett Cathy must be rolling in his grave seeing how craven they company he loved has become.

Well, to be honest, I have not been patronizing Chick-Fil-A for several years now. Just too crowded. And the food is subpar now. I think they make alot of the food ahead of time. Nothing worse than a chicken sandwich that has barely warm and has a wet and soggy bun.

Remember most of these places are privitely owned. The three that we visit are in South Carolina.
And the families are very good Christan families. Not fair to paint all with the same brush.
This may be true of some of the other Woke businesses. A little research is a good thing.

OK, so this McReynolds has been occupying a sinecure in the corporate structure for about a year and a half.
Has he imposed any draconian policies or requirements on the employees? None are mentioned in the article. Have we been hearing from disaffected CFA employees complaining of a smothering, politicized work environment? If so I haven't read of them.
Concentrate on the big offenders like A-B and Target. Otherwise it becomes a hopeless game of whack-a-mole.
