If you’ve paid any attention to the media lately you’re probably already aware of some of the issues and controversies CNN has been dealing with, most recently the left-wing backlash over their town hall event with Donald Trump. And before that there was the firing of Don Lemon after several awkward on-air moments.

Florida governor and 2024 presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis (R) shouted down a protester who interrupted his speech during a campaign stop in South Carolina Friday.
“Unfortunately, there’s bad stuff that’s getting into the schools. There’s pornography that’s getting into schools. So the parents have had to blow the whistle in Florida,” he said during the speech in Lexington as a protester began to interrupt, talking back to the governor.
“They’ve had to, they’ve had t0 — yeah. Well, thank you. Thank you,” DeSantis said as the crowd booed the protester.
DeSantis then looked in the protester’s direction and spoke to the individual directly.

Last week I noticed a tweet that caught my attention because it announced the support of a wealthy Texan for Ron DeSantis. It said that Joe Lonsdale, a venture capitalist & one of the founders of Palantir, is endorsing DeSantis. He has “tons of connections across tech + politics.” DeSantis is coming to Texas next week for a three-day fundraising trip, his first since declaring his candidacy. He will do well. Nikki Haley is also coming to Texas next week for the same reason.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer demanded the document be turned over to his committee and FBI Director Christopher Wray at first said no and then later agreed to a compromise. As Jazz pointed out yesterday, the compromise was to allow Comer and the ranking Democrat on the committee to come to FBI headquarters to view the document.
