Harry, Meghan Markle to ‘stop writing
books, documentaries’ as there’s ‘nothing

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “nothing left to say.” In a shocking U-turn, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to stop publishing tell-alls, engaging in sit-down interviews, and taking part in large-scale documentaries, according to a report. “That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say,” a source told the Sun of the exiled couple’s plan to step away from the limelight. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sensationally stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2021 — a decision that was followed by a permanent move to the US amid their ongoing quest for “privacy.”

Horse feathers!! I don't believe them for an instant! Walmart Wallis craves the limelight and attention. She also has Prince Hapless by the short and curlies so I don't doubt that something is in the works. I know that Hapless is in negotiations with someone for a film version of "WAAAAAGH!"

Aha! Wallis, as in Wallis Simpson, who was divorced twice before latching onto English King Edward VIII. He had to abdicate the Crown to marry her in 1937. War clouds (WW II) were gathering over Europe at the time. In spite of all the carrying-on later about "they married for love", it's a good thing both were bounced from the inner circle of royalty when they were. It turned out after the war that both Edward and Wallis were Nazi-sympathizers.

As #4 said, they are a laughingstock now. Most of the British people despise them for embarrassing the Royals. The Royals to us Americans seem an anachronism but it’s part of British history. Without them, tourism would crater. I didn’t think it would be possible to outdo that pair of grifters, Eddie and Wallis, but they have. If you comped that pair for daily flowers in their hotel room or their room charges, they would deign to come to your party.. Drones and parasites. Harry is a sexually besotted fool and the breakup will give the Brit scandal sheets fodder for years.

Meghan is using Harry as a steppingstone, but neither have the wits to realize how badly their plans would play out. She still has aspirations, but it might be dawning on her that she made a mess. She let him face the coronation alone, as well as his interviews for the book. Don't be surprised if she dumps him after his inheritance is finalized and moves on to her next steppingstone. Or tries to. She's been exposed as a manipulative liar, and she's too long in the tooth to be considered a catch.

#8 -- she wasn't yet divorced from her second husband (who divorced his wife to marry Wallis) when she and Edward hooked up. He may have married her and abdicated "for love," but her husband had suffered financial difficulties that forced the Simpsons to dial back their lavish lifestyle. She knew when to get out.

To pick up on a point made by a couple of earlier posters – there are credible reports that Harry vacates their Montecito mansion and holes up at a hotel nearby from time to time. Maybe to draft the “His” version of the forthcoming “His” and “Her” divorce tomes. I don’t blame him. But the mansion has 16 bedrooms, and various other rooms and a guest house. You would think any husband worth his salt could find a hiding place, even from Meghan Markle, in all that space. Just saying.

The response from major retailers to pick up the slack in combatting shoplifting resulting from progressive politics left customers fed up and demanding things be returned to “the way it used to be.” “It’s a struggle. It makes your day longer.” Videos of shoplifters raiding stores and hauling off trash bags filled with merchandise have become increasingly more commonplace and even led to some companies shutting down business locations altogether. For those seeking to ride out the spiking crime rates in leftist havens, law-abiding customers have felt the brunt of policies meant to protect their bottom line.

From the moment Joe Biden first stepped inside the Oval Office as president, the crises began: from the Biden Border Crisis, Biden Energy Crisis, Biden Inflation Crisis, Biden Economy Crisis, Biden’s Afghanistan Debacle, and even falling on stage, nothing is ever this president’s fault. Nothing. The question: Why? We’ll get there. Harry S Truman, America’s 33rd president, famously displayed a simple, four-word plaque on his desk: “The Buck Stops Here.” Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., our 46th president, might as well have a different plaque on his desk: “The Buck Stops Everywhere But Here.” Again, the question is why. Why is Joe Biden seemingly incapable of accepting responsibility for his own actions,

Dozens of transgender people who live in Florida have turned to crowdfunding appeals in an effort to move out of the state, ABC News reported Friday. Reportedly, the transgender people who are trying to leave the state of Florida are doing so because of a slew of “anti-LGBTQ+” laws that have been passed in recent years. They were confronted by the criminal who assaulted them, striking the father several times as he was loading a wagon onto the top of the vehicle.

Several thousand illegal migrants protested in Florida’s streets against Gov. Ron DeSantis’s state law that may shrink illegal immigration to the state. The strikers’ hope for a massive, economy-jarring, state-wide “walkout” failed because the hard-working, wage-cutting illegal aliens are not critical to any section of the U.S. economy, except the fruit-growing sector. Perhaps 10,000 illegal aliens — including many family members — turned out for the June 1 “Day Without Immigrants” protest. Most of the turnout took place in the Immokalee agriculture district where farmers prefer cheap and disposable workers over U.S-built, labor-saving harvesting machines. Many of the illegal migrants waived their home-country flags: [video] Some businesses supported the protest,

Federal prosecutors have deployed a tactic of seeking to impose fines on defendants, in addition to their prison sentences with the alleged goal of preventing them from financially benefiting from their participation in the 2021 events in DC, especially in cases where the accused has received a court-appointed public defender. Attorneys for the defendants see the DOJ’s fine requests as impairing rights to legal representation. Legitimate Fundraising? Recent polling on transgender rights has been fairly uniform, but you won’t see that reflected in the headlines touting the surveys. “Americans’ Complex Views on Gender Identity and Transgender Issues,” read a headline from Pew Research last year. In fact, the only issue on which Americans even slightly disagree is whether transgender people should be protected from discrimination. Otherwise, 60% believe a person’s sex is assigned at birth, and even larger percentages say that trans athletes should compete against others of their birth gender. There’s nothing really “complex” about how Americans feel when it comes to transgender issues. Nor are they really “divided” as NPR reporting on the same poll claims.

The most obvious response to school shootings is to allow teachers and other employees who are licensed to carry firearms to do so. Would-be mass murderers are drawn to schools largely because they are usually “gun-free zones,” which means the shooter’s gun will be the only one on the scene. But some have questioned whether many teachers would actually be willing to arm themselves, so as to make this a practical solution. The Rand Corporation conducted a nationwide survey of nearly 1,000 teachers, which is reported on by Catrin Wigfall. Most teachers are liberals these days–no surprise, given the far-left orientation of universities’ education programs and the teachers’ unions.
