Sen. Dianne Feinstein spent months missing from the Senate. As far as the public was concerned, she had shingles, and that’s it. End of story. Nothing to worry about, she’ll be back soon, ready to return to business, case closed, let’s stop talking about her resigning, shall we?
Except this wasn’t just a simple case of an 89-year-old woman with shingles. It wasn’t until after Feinstein returned to the Senate that her office confirmed the senior senator from California was admitted to the hospital with serious neurological complications resulting from shingles. The condition, which is called encephalitis, affected her brain and face.

A Mississippi judge has ruled that a biologically male student cannot cross-dress for his graduation ceremony. (snip) An attorney for the school district argued that graduation is voluntary and not constitutionally protected for any student.
Young men must wear a white button-down shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a tie or bowtie to the ceremony. The student wanted to wear high heels and a dress.
U.S. District Judge Taylor McNeel in Gulfport, appointed by former President Donald Trump, sided with the school on Friday.

While being interviewed by Megyn Kelly this week, the comedienne Roseanne Barr revealed the very personal reason that she has for seeing abortion as a “barbarity.” (snip) During an appearance on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Barr opened up about her decision to give up her daughter for adoption in the 1960s after becoming pregnant at 18.
The 70 year-old former “Roseanne” star explained that she put the baby up for adoption through a Jewish social services organization in Denver, knowing deep down that they would reunite someday. Sure enough, they would go on to reunite when the girl turned 18, and they enjoy a beautiful relationship to this day.

Hunter Biden cried poverty at his Arkansas child-support hearing earlier this month — despite flying to and from the courthouse aboard a luxury private jet owned by his close friend Kevin Morris. (snip) The 7,326-mile round trip likely cost between $55,000 to $117,000 all in — or the value of up to six months in child-support payments to Hunter Biden’s baby mama, aviation experts told The Post. (snip) Hunter Biden is currently on the hook to Roberts for $20,000 a month and has already paid out $750,000, his attorneys say.
Hunter Biden has argued that he needs to reduce his payments due to a “substantial material change” in his financial situation.

Former President Donald Trump is dominating in the Republican presidential primary and has opened up a massive lead over President Biden in a potential head-to-head matchup, May’s Harvard-Harris survey found.
The survey showed Trump completely dominating in the 2024 Republican primary with a majority supporting him in a potentially crowded field.
Trump garners 58 percent support, while Gov. Ron DeSantis — who is rumored to announce a presidential bid next week — falls into the teens with 16 percent support.

President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) opted not to prosecute U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Rachael Rollins after the Office of the Inspector General determined that she lied under oath and referred its allegation to the DOJ.
The OIG released the results of an investigation into Rollins, who the Heritage Foundation notes was previously backed by left-wing billionaire George Soros, on multiple fronts on Wednesday, finding that she allegedly attempted to influence the Suffolk County District Attorney’s race last year and subsequently lied under oath during an investigation into the matter.

Declining sales may not be the only part of the Dylan Mulvaney saga Bud Light parent company Anheuser-Busch has to worry about.
Republican lawmakers are now calling for an investigation into the brand’s partnership with the transgender activist over concerns about who the company was marketing its products to with the collaboration.
In a joint letter to Anheuser-Busch CEO and Beer Institute chairman Brendan Whitworth, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) ask Whitworth and the Beer Institute’s Code Compliance Review Board to investigate whether the partnership "violated the Beer Institute's Advertising/Marketing Code and Buying Guidelines prohibiting marketing to individuals younger than the legal drinking age."

Princeton University recently hosted a feminist musical comedy, performed by students, promoting abortion and featuring other leftist themes.
The musical, held April 21-22 and titled “To All the Babies I’ve Killed Before: A Love/Hate Letter to Storytelling,” was written by Princeton senior Jenni Lawson.
The Program Information page states that the play “aims to investigate the challenges of being heard and cultivating self-empowerment as a queer, cognitively-disabled (ADHD) woman in artistic spaces that traditionally center archaic, western, patriarchal narratives grounded in firm structures of storytelling and comedy.”

The attorney for the New York City nurse at the center of a viral bicycle dispute said his client is "in hiding" because her life and job are being threatened over the encounter.

Her attorney Justin Marino explained on "America's Newsroom" Friday that the 6-month pregnant nurse had just ended her 12-hour-shift and was trying to rent a bike to go home.

President Trump endorsed Daniel Cameron in the Republican primary for the Kentucky governor’s race. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, Mike Pompeo and Vivek Ramaswamy endorsed candidate Kelly Craft. Cameron won, Craft came in third. Kelly Craft is a big donor to the establishment Republican Party, hence all of the major donor-fueled Republican candidates supported her.
Mrs. Craft outspent her opponents more than 10:1 spending more than $8.1 million, while the MAGA candidate Daniel Cameron spent just over $771 thousand and had the full support of President Donald Trump.
Does this sound like a familiar pattern?
