Rep. Lauren Boebert didn't hold back when it came to criticizing Democrat Senator John Fetterman's decision to wear a hoodie and shorts to a Senate press conference on Thursday. The Colorado Republican was so incensed she took to Twitter to express her disapproval, calling Fetterman's appearance 'truly unbecoming.' She argued that such attire was inappropriate for any job, especially considering the limited number of individuals elected to serve in the Senate.

They allowed this but fussed at TN Rep. Tim Burchett (R) when he wore his signature Carthartt jacket over his suit on the floor one day. So tired of these double standards. We get it, the Democrats are the party of "Weekend at Bernie's" bodies placeholding to keep themselves in power while America suffers for their idiocy. WHEN will they get serious pushback from the Republicans. Not just whiney statements, but actual consequences. I'm looking for serious consequences. Violating a dress code is a distraction. I'm looking for perp walks and jail time.

Maybe in Braddock, PA a hòdie and shorts count as formal attire. At least Fetterman managed to dress himself.

Re #9 - I have a good friend who lives in PA and last year before the election we had lunch. Early do we discuss politics as she is left of me, but it cam up. She said Oz has no business being in the race and then I asked: what about Fetterman who should be in rehab facility? And then I got some crap about the working class and Oz is rich blah blah. And I replied Fetterman has been living off of his parents for decades and yes Oz is wealthy but he made that money, is a MD, etc. We dropped the topic and went back to our lunch. I guess when you get your new from Yahoo News this is what you get. PS: I use to live in PA and pretty state but hated it - that's when I learned there are Northern Rednecks.

As someone who worked in Philadelphia for several years, I can affirm that the sad fact is that Slobby Slobinski's fashion sense is all too representative of the citizens of Pennsylvania. It's clear that he doesn't know any better. But you would think that his puppetmasters would have the good sense to honor the decorum of the Halls of Congress. Guess not. But then maybe dressing him like he's going out to the playground makes it easier for them to change his Depends.

The creep Fetterman couldn't be a better walking advertisement for Senate democrats. His attire and his general attitude screams FU, to America, FU, to his constituents and now FU, to the United States Senate. Another stolen election proving elections, and in particular, stolen elections have enormous consequences. And if I'm wrong about the deep state and dems stealing the election for Fetterman, than things in this country are much, much worse than I feared. If a majority of people in Pennsylvania, thoughtfully and purposefully voted for this freak, then that state and our country are done, done, done. Fetterman truly represents the sickening, ugly turn America has taken.

Standing with #9! I live in a conservative area in PA and we are definitely NOT like several commenters here describe us. Few here that I know would go to work dressed as Mr. Fetterman does unless they work in an industry for which that attire is usual or appropriate. He is an absolute disgrace and an embarrassment to the state he was elected to serve. And because I know how corrupt our state government is, I have doubts he was honestly elected. This is just my opinion though; I have no facts that support that. It's just a feeling I have. He should absolutely resign to take care of his health issues. Given that (unfortunately) we have a dem governor it is certain that his Senate seat would still be in the hands of the corrupt.

One of the themes of local races during the 2020 election was “parental rights.” Despite Hillary Clinton’s idiotic “it takes a village” viewpoint, most Americans believe parents are the final arbiter over their children unless they are demonstrably and dangerously unfit. The US Supreme Court has stated, “the interest of parents in the care, custody and control of their children—is perhaps the oldest of the fundamental liberty interests recognized by this Court.”

The official request was sent by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, and pertained to a prospective financial form that several GOP lawmakers claim lays out an 'alleged criminal scheme' involving Biden and an unnamed foreign national.

As discussed here many, many times, the big problem with generating electricity from wind and solar sources is that they are intermittent. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t. And sometimes they don’t work for days on end. The times when both wind and sun fail at the same time for multiple days tend to be concentrated in the very coldest days of the winter. This poses a huge problem for central planners’ dreams of “net zero” electricity. Try to solve the problem with grid-scale batteries, and suddenly you’re talking wildly unaffordable costs in the trillions of dollars.
